We had the best wedding weekend ever at Gilbertsville Farmhouse and highly recommend you book this venue! Brandon and the Gilbertsville team made the entire process incredibly smooth and all of our family and friends had the absolute nicest things to say about the weekend!

- Onsite: It was so great to have a place that was 100% dedicated to our wedding and our guests. Our goal for the weekend was to maximize spending time together and Gilbertsville was the perfect venue for that! The check-in process for all of our onsite guests was easy and everyone raved about their rooms (both the cabins and the house). It was so enjoyable to have everyone arrive early on Friday to have informal time to say hello and explore the property. We can’t tell you how many of our friends told us how fun it was to sleep onsite with all of the other guests, including the nightcap bonfires on Fri and Sat nights. Also the homemade focaccia for lunch on Friday is worth its own shoutout!
- Rehearsal Dinner: We had our rehearsal dinner outside behind the barn which was such a beautiful location. We had the BBQ dinner which everyone loved (we’re still dreaming about the ribs). It was the perfect balance of everyone walking around saying hello but also having tables to sit and eat. Gilbertsville also allowed us to have live music play at the rehearsal dinner.
- Ceremony: Our ceremony was on the hilltop and the view was spectacular. Everyone said just having the ceremony in that setting made them understand why we wanted to have our wedding in Western NY. Brandon and the team made the logistics of the ceremony very smooth.
- Cocktail Hour: We had our cocktail hour in the Milking Parlour. Everyone enjoyed the unique setting and the hors d'voures and charcuterie board were great. The team also helped us set up a beautiful memory table for our lost loved ones. Our seating chart also came in the mail broken - Brandon and the team somehow figured out a way to make it look perfect using other props! (one of many examples of their attention to detail)
- Reception: The renovated barn was such a perfect place to have our party. We picked the long tables, which looked gorgeous and allowed us to have a large dancefloor. Everyone loved the family style dinner, which allowed everyone to try everything! We picked the salmon and chicken for main entrees. We also really enjoyed being able to have both inside and outside areas for people to party. We had forgotten a few namecards and Brandon was able to print them out on cardstock for us (every potential headache was mitigated by Brandon).
- Gilbertsville Team: Brandon is an absolute rockstar and made the planning process and wedding weekend incredibly smooth. Every person on the team was helpful - it’s worth also shouting out Katie who went above and beyond to take care of us and our guests. Thank you to Sharon and the entire team!

Goat yoga ended up being one of the most talked-about events, and our guests are still raving about it.

Their professionalism, warmth, and attention to detail made the entire experience seamless. Their list of trusted vendors also made planning so much easier, and we truly couldn’t have imagined a better fit for our celebration. Their help through the planning process was instrumental in planning a wedding weekend in just 5 months!!
