The Bond 1835 came to the rescue when my daughter got engaged in the Spring of 2022 and decided to get married 5 months later due to her father’s illness. From the 1st moment we reached out til the day after the wedding, Corey was so helpful and accommodating through the whole planning process! First, The Bond is a beautiful property with top notch accommodations. We had the entire property from Friday afternoon before the wedding til late Sunday morning after the wedding. The bride and grooms closest friends stayed on site in the lovely guest rooms and were treated to the most delicious breakfasts to start each morning. There was plenty of room for the bride and her attendants to spread out and get ready the day of the wedding complete with mimosas and a delicious light lunch. More than anything my daughter wanted to get married in Skaneateles on the lake she grew up on. The lake is right across the street and was in full view from the ceremony and cocktail hour. The back lawn, gardens and patio where the bar and hors d’oeuvres table were set up was perfection! Corey’s rustic benches set up in a corner of the yard surrounded by the green, serene woods with a rustic handmade arch created a perfect backdrop for the ceremony. We had a large tent with a sit down dinner for 100 people. Corey worked with the caterer and all of our vendors to be sure they had everything they needed to provide a fabulous reception. A secondary tent covered the band stand and dance floor. A wonderful time was had by all. Everything was perfect due to Corey and her exemplary staff’s hard work and planning. We could not have asked for a better experience at The Bond 1835!

I cannot say enough good things about our experience with The Bond 1835 when my daughter got married.
They opened up their Bed and Breakfast to our whole family, and we were welcomed as if we were their family. The opportunity for all of us to stay together for the weekend gave us so much more time to spend together and it was so relaxing! The Bond is so beautiful and intimate and was exactly what my daughter had envisioned.
They graciously allowed us to have everyone's hair and makeup done right there on-site and served everyone an amazing breakfast on the patio while everyone was getting ready. It was so nice for everyone to be together and relax before the wedding.
Additionally, the next day, they served us an amazing brunch before everyone had to head home.
Corey and her staff took care of every little detail, and I can say, as the mother of the bride, it was an amazing and magical experience, with so many personal touches.
We loved it so much, that when my daughter was expecting her baby, we could not think of a better place to have a Baby Shower. Again, it was perfect and beautiful, with every little detail taken care of!
I can't say enough about what a special place The Bond is. It just feels like home!
