DJ GarGar (Edgar Alminar) is a San Diego-based DJ and producer with a driving beat and an unmistakable energy in a town better known for its laid back vibes. For over fifteen years, he has brought his vigorous style and enthusiastic stage presence to events throughout Southern California and its surrounding region. GarGar has extensive experience with all types of events, including: weddings, birthday parties, dance club nights, live music concerts, high school dances, etc.

In San Diego, DJ GarGar's residencies have included The Local, in downtown San Diego, and Hennessey's Tavern in Pacific Beach. GarGar has appeared at every leading venue in San Diego, including the House Of Blues, The Belly Up Tavern, Canes Bar And Grill, RIMAC Arena, Petco Park, and The Casbah. He also remains active in the hip hop scene appearing at countless parties and live shows around the area with his critically acclaimed hip hop group, The KneeHighs.
