About

I'm an Independent Catholic priest. I can officiate weddings at any location in Connecticut, and surrounding states. I also perform commitment ceremonies, elopements, and vow renewals. I perform Catholic weddings and weddings for couples of different faiths, and for those who hold no religious beliefs. I also perform inter-faith weddings. The ceremonies can take place at any location, such as a venue, restaurant, beach, etc. Ceremonies can be indoors or outdoors.

I work with couples to create a wedding ceremony that's beautiful, providing readings and prayers, that meet all your needs. I accommodate those who don't belong to a specific church, but wish to have a religious ceremony nevertheless. I welcome those who are divorced, and others who are unable to be married by a Roman Catholic priest. Independent Catholics do not require an annulment if the couple are divorced. Great experience!

Father John was thorough and flexible from the planning stages to the ceremony. He was extremely informative about the Church and what to expect in the initial meeting. He made us comfortable from the beginning. Not only was he responsive to emails, he allowed for some modifications to the ceremony to make it extra special for us. When it came to the execution of the ceremony, Father John was professional and poise throughout, but also fed off our energy and giggled along with us when we were trying to pull it together. Many of our guests said the ceremony was not only the best part of our wedding, but one of the most beautiful they've witnessed. We would recommend Father John 10x over!!!

An Excellent Experience!

Father John was an amazing officiant! He was gracious enough to travel to our venue in Bolton, and my husband and I were able to really customize our ceremony. 10/10!

Father John made everything so easy. He helped us incorporate our faith into the ceremony, and he personalized our ceremony to make it just like we wanted it. No request was too much.

Father John was the best.

Father John was fantastic. He helped us put together our wedding ceremony with lots of options of what we can include. We wrote our own vows and Father John helped us incorporate them into the wedding. My parents said they loved it.

Perfect Ceremony!

I wanted a religious ceremony but not in a church. Father John was amazing and gave me exactly what I was looking for. The ceremony was what I wanted and he was able to customize it to make it personal.

Absolutely would recommend Father John

Our wedding ceremony was perfect, all thanks to Father John. My husband and I both grew up in Catholic homes and it was important to us to have a Catholic ceremony, but equally important to be married outside of a church. Father John was able to accommodate this while keeping the ceremony holy, religious, and truly beautiful. He made the process stress free and simple and was open to requests and personalization. One of the best wedding decisions I made!

Father John was one of the best decisions that we made for our wedding. It was so amazing to have our wedding outdoors and still have a Catholic ceremony. We went with the religious option so that we could have communion. It was PERFECT! He was beyond professional, pleasant to be around, and accommodating. Thank you Father John!!

Father John was perfect for our wedding, and also for our situation. I was raised Catholic, and my wife was raised Christian, but both of us had moved around a lot and hadn't settled on a church in Boston yet. We decided on an outdoor wedding, but since traditional Catholic weddings need to be in a church, we were stuck. Father John totally came through for us, offering a very traditional and beautiful wedding that was very meaningful to us and both of our families and satisfied all traditions involved! We really didn't think that that could happen, and it did. The ceremony was so beautiful, and Fr. John made it very straightforward to set up. Both my wife and I would highly recommend him.

Father John was really flexible and open to everything we wanted to make our wedding day special. He was very responsive and helpful when we had questions. Our wedding day would not have been the same if Father John didn't marry us!!

Father John was outstanding. My wife and I were most pleased with was how easy he is. From our first meeting he was very flexible. Never once did he insist on any part of the service, however he constantly made very reasonable and valuable suggestions. Our wedding turned out to be fantastic and I'm glad he was a part of it. I would recommend his services to anyone.
