Being a modern, interfaith couple from NYC, we didn't want to have a super religious church-style ceremony. That being said, it was important that both of our respective beliefs were acknowledged in our marriage ceremony, and that we found an officiant that matched our needs. From the moment we met Rev. During our meetings, she really listened to what we were looking for and got to know us as both individuals and a couple. Reverend Julie was such a pleasure to work with. She was flexible with scheduling appointments in the months leading up to our wedding day and was understanding and gracious about our beliefs and spirituality. She made sure to know our story and made a point to remember special things that we wanted included in our ceremony, including our union as a blended family and mentioning our loved ones that have passed on. Reverend Julie was so supportive and helped me make decisions with some of my uncertainties about how I wanted the ceremony to go. And at the rehearsal and the day of my wedding, she was on top of everything and anything that arose, she handled so smoothly and was so wonderful with our 2 children, especially our 3 year old who would not leave my side during the ceremony. I truly can't say enough, I could go on and on! She made my day perfect, I couldn't have done it without her.
