As a professional graphic designer, it takes a lot for a printer to impress me. Kate did just that. After scouring the internet for letterpress printer after letterpress printer, I requested a quote from Kate to print our invitations from my custom design. Not only did she come back with an incredibly reasonable quote, she was able to capture the halftone pattern that many letterpress printers told me simply couldn't be done.

Kate is based out of Madison and she happily travelled to Milwaukee to show my wife and I samples of her work. Additionally, once the printing was complete she hand delivered the invitations. Very impressive!

I had a great experience working with Kate from Flying Rabbit Press on our wedding invitations. My husband and I live in the Madison, WI area and really wanted to work with a local press on the invitations. Kate was consistently very responsive and flexible. We first met at a coffee shop in town to talk through the basics, and Kate brought examples of invitations she's done for other couples, color samples, paper samples--all kinds of helpful things. Kate was also very open about pricing and helped us stick to our budget while also putting together a really lovely end result.

A friend of mine designed our wedding ceremony and reception invitations, and Kate did such a great job of working with my friend on getting electronic files of the design and sending them out to make custom plates. We decided to go with just two colors on nice (but relatively inexpensive) paper and a contrasting colored envelope. I was SO pleased with how the invitations turned out--they were gorgeous. They look so crisp, the colors were true, and the quality of the letterpress was awesome. We really couldn't have been more pleased with how they turned out. And working with Kate was so pleasant and easy, whether we met up in person or corresponded via email. I would absolutely recommend Flying Rabbit Press to anyone!
