We hired Katie to do a live painting for our Indian wedding ceremony. We were drawn to her colorful and vibrant portfolio. She sent over a detailed questionnaire prior to the event to truly hone in on exactly what we wanted. When we showed up to the venue, we were really happy to see how genuinely excited she was, practically jumping for joy for us. Even after the event, she has been one of the first people to comment on all the Instagram posts, exemplifying how much she cares. She was also dressed in Indian clothing which we were impressed with because it demonstrated her genuine interest in our event. Our wedding ceremony date had some questionable weather, and our rain plan and setup were very fluid. Katie was super flexible and managed to roll with the changes in real-time without any issues. As we received photos from guests, we were happy to see how many of them had taken photos of her painting throughout the evening. Guests were very excited by the concept and her level of work. We saw the work she had finished on the day of, and it looked stunning, perfectly capturing the moment and details. We can’t wait for the finished painting to hang up in our home as a memento to such an unforgettable evening.

Katie was one of my favorite vendors at my wedding. She is extremely talented and very professional. She is able to capture the room in her paintings so elegantly and makes sure to highlight what is important to you. As a wedding present we received a live painting by Katie Geis. This was the most thoughtful and unique gift, our painting is something my husband and I will cherish forever. We provided Katie with our color scheme, several pictures of our attire for the day and the venue. We were able to pick what moment we wanted to have painted, so we chose our ceremony. It ended up raining on our wedding day so we had to move the ceremony indoors. We asked Katie to still paint it as if we were outside by the water. She did not disappoint, and my husband and I were stunned by how beautiful it was. It was so amazing to watch her progress on the painting throughout the night. Katie was a joy to work with from start to finish. We originally inquired about her services just a couple short months before our wedding, when we realized we wanted to have socially distanced entertainment for our guests.
