About Us

Five Fillies Farm was established in 2007 by the Williams Family. The farm is named for the family's five daughters who all loved horses. As a former Amish farm, every effort is taken to maintain as much authenticity as possible. The two original homes on the property have been preserved and are occupied by members of the New Wilmington Amish community.

In the summer of 2013, we began holding weddings for family and friends. This soon grew to members of the area, ranging from Erie to West Virginia, holding their weddings at the farm. We specialize in maintaining a working farm that is exceptionally beautiful.

Since 2013, we have held hundreds of weddings and events. We will work tirelessly to ensure that your special day goes off perfectly. If you hold your wedding at the farm, you become one of the “Five Fillies Farm Family” and are welcome to come back to celebrate your anniversaries, take engagement photos, and more.

What we include in our rental fee (there are NO additional venue costs):

• Coming in Friday for decorating and rehearsal
• Coming in Saturday for Ceremony and Reception
• Occupancy for 200 guests
• Ceremony set up & tear down, including 150 chairs and arbor
• Use of the Bridal Suite and Groom’s Room for pre-ceremony preparations, complete with air conditioning and beauty bench (bridal suite)
• Rectangular tables and white garden chairs (200 for reception)
• Use of linens
• Use of tableware
• Miscellaneous décor items, such as rustic split logs, tables, and other vintage items
• Parking Attendants
• Licensed Security Guard
• Climate controlled restroom trailer, including an ADA-compliant unit with baby changing station

What your Wedding Weekend will Look Like

When you come in on Friday, the linens and dishes will already be placed on the tables. All you have to do is come in with your decorations, alcohol, flowers, etc. and decorate! Once done decorating (usually it only take 1-2 hours), you can have your ceremony rehearsal. We will lock up the barn when you are done with your ceremony rehearsal. Brigid or a Five Fillies representative will be here the entire time to assist you, as needed.

When you come back in on Saturday, you can get ready in the bridal suite and groom’s room, finish any last minute decorating. Brigid and Tony will be here the entire day to assist you with anything. From fluffing your dress as you walk down the aisle, to turning on tea lights in the barn, there is not a thing that you have to worry about. We will make sure that your job for the day is to get married to your best friend.

At the end of the night on Saturday, we (Five Fillies and the catering staff) will take all of your decorations off of the tables, place them at the front of the barn or in boxes and help you load your car up with any leftover food, drinks, and decorations.

From set up to tear down, we try to make the process as easy as possible, so all you have to think about is getting married.
