There aren't enough superlatives for this review. Firgun Events (we worked with Shruti) was phenomenally helpful from start to finish. At the start, she softly guided us when we had no idea what we wanted or how to select between vendors. She painstakingly ensured that we were never stressed, and that we always found options that checked enough boxes for everyone involved. Whenever we were leaning toward a decision that might lead us astray, she was firm, patient, and understanding while helping us correct course. Managing personalities and making sure everyone feels heard is a big part of this job, and Shruti always knew just what to say. Vendor selection is another big part, and Shruti absolutely nailed every single one - photo/video, hair, makeup, henna, DJ, decor, catering.

As we got closer to the event, Shruti kicked things up a notch and started to push us towards the kinds of thoughtful details that made our wedding deeply personal and one-of-a-kind. But it was really on the wedding weekend itself where Firgun shined brightest. Shruti, Ekta, and Nikita were logistical wizards. They might as well have been the president's bodyguards. We didn't have to lift a finger or worry about anything. We were just zipped from one place to the next, and had the most magical time. I can't imagine it's all that often you want to be friends with your wedding planner, but that's where we landed. 11 stars!

Firgun Events lived up to their commitment of providing full wedding planning to the last moment of events. My wedding was destination wedding at Hard Rock Resort in Punta Cana, DR. We were nervous about having wedding in unknown country and making sure everything goes by Hindu rituals. We have spent countless hours with Aarati on zoom call, in person and phone calls to make it work. It was tough to work with vendors directly, but Aarati made it easy with her connections and got us our dream wedding. All 4 events were just perfect except the rain that ruined one of the events but that was expected on day 1 of our conversation with Aarati. Aarati and Sajani made all events perfect by showing professionalism, commitment and desire to make every event memorable. Komal and I were truly blessed to work with you and thank you very much to Firgun Events, Aarati and Sajani.

Shruti and Ekta were the coordinators for our Bangladeshi-American wedding and we really could not have done it without them. They were hardworking, professional and sincere. They coordinated for our Gaye Holud and our Wedding events. We had so many different vendors with big big personalities and they seamlessly coordinated between all of them. I am so grateful to have worked with them they gave my husband and I such peace of mind. Everyone commented on how well organized and coordinated our events were. If you are having a South Asian wedding don't wait to book them!

We couldn't recommend Firgun enough! Shruti and her team were nothing short of incredible. Shruti was with us every step of the way from the beginning - she is the definition of strong opinions, loosely held. We, from the beginning, told her we wanted to hear her opinion since she has so much experience seeing what works and what doesn't, but if there was ever a time where our opinions didn't line up, she would always politely explain why she felt the way she did, and if we still wanted things a certain way, the response was always "don't worry, I'll make it happen." Not only did Shruti and her team help us bring to life the wedding that we always dreamed of, that was perfect for us, but she was amazing working with our families and parents to make them also feel that the wedding was everything they wanted. Our bridal party and our guests kept telling us all weekend how seamlessly the Firgun ladies made the wedding run like clockwork. Not only is the Firgun team great at what they do, but they make the process so much fun and enjoyable, and they are such great people at the end of the day! It was like planning our wedding with our best friend as our planner. Thank you, Firgun!!

The ladies of Firgun Events are absolutely amazing. They made each step of the wedding process so easy. Aarati was so knowledgeable about the wedding planning process. She was right there with us through every step of the way. She took the time to listen to what we wanted and what our parents wanted for our wedding. Her calming personality and vast experience made our wedding weekend a success. The ladies planned and coordinated our wedding and garba that exceeded our expectations. Till this day our guests cannot stop commenting on how the wedding was so well planned and executed. Our guests have repeatedly said "that was the best wedding ever". My husband, Raghav, and I couldn’t be more thankful for Shruti and the Firgun Events team. Shruti was extremely dedicated to planning our wedding from the very beginning. She made a point to set up fun coffee meetings early on in the process so that we could all look at pictures and talk about a vision together. This ensured that we were all on the same page in terms of likes, dislikes, and must-haves. She was extremely responsive and so much fun to work with! Raghav and I were both working long hours during most of the months leading up to our wedding, and didn’t have much time to devote to planning. Shruti would take the time to research vendor options for things like hair and makeup, transportation, etc. and send us her top 4 or 5 for us to consider. This was a huge help for my husband and me and it really made our planning process run smoothly!
Not only did Shruti and the Firgun team help us plan our wedding day, but they also helped us plan our Sangeet night. Their ability to coordinate everything on back to back nights, keep all the outside vendors organized, and ensure that everything was running timely helped to make our wedding weekend truly amazing and unforgettable. Shruti was particularly amazing at keeping Raghav and I both stress-free during both the Sangeet night and our entire wedding day which allowed us to relax, enjoy, and celebrate all weekend long. We got married a couple of weeks ago, and our wedding was a dream come true. There's no way it would have happened without the hard work from our planner, Shruti.

From day 1, Shruti noted our must-haves and built a working relationship from the beginning as my partner and I are both working professionals. She put in the work to help us make an informed decision- from large venues and vendors to even the smaller things, like the color of our napkins at cocktail hour. We had the flexibility to focus on our careers while still being hands-on with our wedding, something that we would have struggled with if it wasn't for Shruti's services.

My husband and I are so grateful to have had the opportunity to work with Shruti. She helped us to put together our beautiful wedding in Bermuda. She made sure that I was comfortable with the planning process and really helped me to bring my vision to reality. She was always really professional and very responsive to all my emails and texts throughout the wedding planning process. While offering many suggestions and ideas Shruti still made sure the final decision was always ours. I was also very happy that Shruti was able too go on the site visits and tasting with me to Bermuda when my husband couldn't make it.
Our original plan was to have the cocktail hour and reception outdoors. Due to unforeseen strong winds, we had to move both events indoor last minute. We were so grateful Shruti was there to work with the vendors to make all the changes. With Shruti's help on wedding day coordination, I was able to enjoy my wedding day without having to worry about anything. I absolutely recommend her!

We would absolutely recommend Firgun Events to anyone doing an Indian wedding! We had to push our wedding, so Shruti (and her team) ended up helping us out for over 2.5 years. My wife and I were both working and didn't have much time to plan all the events and details we wanted, but Shruti made the process extremely easy to manage. She was extremely communicative, dealt with vendors, and made sure we had the final say while also removing much of the communication. She became our friend throughout the process and we are extremely grateful for her.
During the wedding, the Firgun team was able to ensure that all events happened on time, and that we were able to enjoy ourselves as it can be an extremely stressful weekend.
