Fireseed Gardens overlooks Maxwelton Valley and the privately owned Miller Lake and is located on Whidbey Island in Washington state. On 10 acres you will discover pasture lands for strolling, woods for exploring, a large manicured garden area for ceremonies, and a 6200 sq foot indoor hall serviced by our fully licensed commercial kitchen. Fireseed's grounds are surrounded by annual and perennial flowers, evergreens, sculpltures and art by local artists and craftsmen. A hidden sound system can supply background music as your guests wander the grounds and gardens discovering the charm of Whidbey Islands peaceful beauty. Our hideaway truly removes you from the world right down to the off street parking for all of your guests. We have created a space that feels comfortable and intimate no matter what size event.
Our fully renovated 6200 square foot Barn includes heat, six bathrooms, a sound system, and an antique bar in a 2,000 square foot lounge. Couples also enjoy private Bridal and Broom suites with a separate entrance and parking. Most clients find the charm and elegance of the Barn with its own meditative gardens to need little additional decoration but we are open to different ideas. As your guests journey from the outdoor appetizers to the indoor dinner they are greeted by a new space that only heightens the whole experience. While most ceremonies take place in the picturesque setting of the gardens our indoor venue also offers a backup space for the ceremony that puts couples at ease. Events of any season can be held on our premises uneffected by the Pacific Northwest's unique weather patterns.

Fireseed is a wonderful gem and we had the best weekend of our lives. Dave was like our wedding guru who made the whole process smooth and calm. He is super responsive and attentive. On the day itself, Dawn steps in to ensure the event runs smoothly and the couple can relax and enjoy the experience. Wish we could do it again :)Sent on 07/12/2019

We had the most incredible experience at this venue! Dave and Dawn helped us manage the entire event, taking the stress and pain out of our big day away! Our wedding couldn’t have been more of a success in a more beautiful setting. We are so thankful that we started our life together here, and can not recommend Fireseed enough!!!Sent on 08/27/2018

The absolute best place to get married!
We don’t even know where to begin with our praise for Fireseed (and, specifically, Dave and Dawn). We were having trouble finding wedding venues we liked in Seattle, and decided to branch out a bit. I visited Fireseed without my then fiancé, as he was busy that day. It was a rainy, dreary, Seattle day, and, despite being a Pacific Northwest native, I am not a huge fan of the rain. From the moment I arrived, I knew that it was our venue, and knew that my fiancé would love it as much as I did (which proved true). Fireseed is such a quintessential Pacific Northwest venue, and has a little bit of everything—beautiful, immaculately maintained gardens, an organic vegetable garden, a lake view, a forest area with large pine trees, and a tastefully decorated barn that does not feel like any other barn! The grounds alone would have been reason enough to have our wedding there, but then we learned that Dave and Dawn are Culinary Institute of America graduates, and make THE most delicious food in the universe. Throughout the year of planning, Dave and Dawn were incredibly responsive and helpful, and are endlessly knowledgeable about every single planning logistic you can think of. On our wedding day, things ran absolutely perfectly, despite the rain that fell and then stopped about 5 minutes before the ceremony. Dave and Dawn took the rain in stride (and had endless umbrellas for guests), and were respectful of our desire to have the ceremony outdoors, despite the downpour that was occurring when they asked us our preference. The food was some of the best we have EVER had, hands down, and it was wedding food for 150 people, to boot. The fried chicken (we opted for a Southern menu, as we are currently living in Tennessee) truly was to die for. The desserts, made by Dawn, were also incredible—so much so that on our 2-month anniversary we decided to buck tradition and have a slice of our wedding cake! We could go on and on with endless praise for Dave, Dawn, their food, their venue, and them as people. We would recommend this venue in a heartbeat to all of our friends, and to anyone wanting a quintessential Pacific Northwest wedding with grounds, food, and service guests will remember for the rest of their lives.Sent on 10/19/2018
Fireseed is awesome. With a very relaxed, open and friendly approach they provide excellent service at every point. The grounds and venue are beautiful, the food is super yummy. I've worked there a bunch and I've never heard any bride, groom or guest say anything but the highest praises. Don't hesitate - just book them!
