Jentry was very easy to work with and was very clear on our approach, price, and schedule. We felt very good going into our Tahoe City wedding at the Gatekeeper's Museum knowing that she knew what style of photos we wanted, and when and how we would be scheduling photos before and during the wedding.

Before our wedding I scoured the web to learn what truly great wedding photography looked like. Being professional videographers, my husband and I admittedly had high expectations. We begin our search for an excellent photographer that could meet our ideal of a true professional, preferably local and definitely in our budget. Spoiler alert: we went with Matt and Jentry: Photographers!

I was super stoked when we discovered Matt and Jentry; so stoked that I, being the stressed bride-to-be, was so nervous that I was literally too scared to contact them, as if I must be dreaming and if I reached for the mirage it would disappear. I think I literally obsessed about their work for a good two months. Fate intervened and during a wedding I was hired to film I immediately recognized Jentry as the photographer during the bridal prep and ask for her card (with much due respect to her professional modesty, I don't think she minded too badly the drooling and gush of compliments I had for their work). We hired them for our engagement session (best idea ever) and for our entire wedding day.

Matt and Jentry: Photographers were and still remain everything we consider perfect in professional photography. Local and charming, highly skilled, fun to be around, very easy to work with, extremely passionate about their work, caring about their clients, they are flexible and affordable, worth every penny and then some! Their many amazing products are of the highest quality and adorably designed. We thoroughly recommend them to anyone looking to have beautiful, heirloom-quality wedding photography (or any photography) in the Reno/Lake Tahoe area and beyond. My husband and I will definitely hire them again for our next family milestone!

Matt and Jentry are two amazing photographers !! My fiancée and I took our engagement photos in late april with our two beautiful children and I couldn't be any more pleased as too how wonderful and sweet Matt and Jentry were. my kids were comfortable and so were we, we had tons of fun and the thing I LOVE about this duo is they both work together to get a lot of great shots. Jentry had so much ideas for our shoot and we also got to put in our own ideas. I SERIOUSLY cant wait to work with them again :)

We wanted a small ceremony with only parents, siblings, and our two young daughters overlooking beautiful Emerald Bay in South Lake Tahoe. Being from Wisconsin, I had a more difficult time picking vendors. We stumbled upon Matt & Jentry, and both my (now) husband and I agreed instantly that they were perfect for our relaxed, vintage-inspired, shabby chic wedding. Not needing an all-day photographer, we were accommodated with a very reasonably priced 1-2 hour quote, which covered the first look, a short ceremony, family photos, and posed shots after the ceremony - perfect for us. Up until the wedding day, Jentry remained in contact, checking to make sure things were going well and giving me recommendations for other vendors when I inquired. Although Matt was unable to shoot (because we were getting married on a weekday), she decided to bring another talented photographer along to capture additional images, at no additional cost. They met us at the residence to get our first look. From the start, Jentry was calm and helped us smoothly move things along. She had no problems directing family where to go (and where not to - like my nosy family members who wanted to come outside for an up-close view of our personal first look! On location, she went above and beyond to get the best shots - even perching on a rock overlooking a cliff, as my family recalled later! She was great about getting family photos done in a timely manner to allow for more posed shots – my fave! She was so enjoyable to work with, and we all felt so comfortable around her. Once we received the images, I was amazed at the quality of the photos she captured. They were STUNNING! I had so many complements – many saying magazine quality! Needless to say, we purchased all digital images in hi-res with print release, also priced sensibly. We are more than satisfied with Jentry’s excellence of work and would highly recommend her to anyone! Do not hesitate with this choice, you won't be disappointed!

I genuinely believe that Matt & Jentry are some of the best photographers in the area not only because they are my family, but because of my experiences with them in front of the camera. I will forever treasure the beautiful photos they took of my now husband and I during our engagement photo session. The photos turned out to be breathtakingly beautiful, and the entire session was extremely pleasant. My husband does not generally enjoy being in front of the camera, but they did a wonderful job at making him feel comfortable. This really portrayed in the images themselves. Had we not gotten married abroad, I would have had hired Matt and Jentry as our wedding photographers without hesitation. They are an adorable couple with a wonderful eye for photography and I highly highly recommend them for all your photography needs!

I could not be happier with the service we received from our wedding photographers Matt & Jentry. They are extremely professional yet very fun to work with. They took our engagement photos also, and they were great at making my fiance and I feel comfortable in front of the camera, and we just had an really great time with it. We explored several locations in down town Reno, and Matt and Jentry are great at thinking on their feet and finding unexpected spots to take interesting and beautiful photos.

On the day of our wedding, the zipper on my dress broke, sending me into a panic and causing the whole day to run 1/2 hour to 1 hour behind. With the compressed time schedule, I was worried we wouldn't get all the family portraits we wanted, but Matt and Jentry worked as an excellent team to get all the portraits done efficiently, and they did it all without making us feel rushed. For the bride and groom portraits, we found a public pier giving us a great view of Lake Tahoe (our wedding was in Tahoe City), and the resulting photos are breathtaking. The photos they captured at our reception are wonderfully candid and give a great sense of the warmth and happiness of the evening. I am currently in the process of creating a wedding album with Matt and Jentry, and I can't wait to see the final product! I highly recommend Matt & Jentry to anyone in need of photography services.

My husband and I were thrilled to win an engagement session with Jentry through My Wedding Library but at the time we truly did not understand how incredibly lucky we were. Not just because we were on a super tight budget and could not afford the engagement session, but because we came across these two super talented photographers and graphic designer. How do I begin to explain the many ways Jentry became a part of our wedding? Of course there was the engagement session: the pictures speak for themselves. Yes, the location was gorgeous but it takes true talent to capture it all. Matt and Jentry were able to capture exactly what wanted in the photo shoot. The shoot was so much fun and Jentry was open to listen to our suggestions. Jentry will certainly be our photographer for life and we can't wait to come for maternity, baby pics, anniversaries, etc!!! As a graphic designer she is just as talented. Jentry created our custom wedding invitations and those too were just what we wanted. We loved them so much that we had her create our program fans and our very own customized flip-flops which we gave to our guests as favors. We hear compliments about our invites, fans and flip-flops all the time!!! I highly recommend Jentry if you want to not worry about your pics and invites turning our just the way you want them.

Jentry is not only a talented photographer, but a wonderful person. She made me comfortable and worked very hard to capture all the important moments on my wedding day.
