Greg at Tahoe North Films was absolutely amazing! He went above and beyond what I'd imagine most photographers do. Our photos turned out so beautiful and he was so helpful. Even our guests were commenting on how great he was! He also stayed an hour later than he was meant to and helped us load gifts and boxes at the end of the night. He truly went above and beyond to give us great photos and make our night so special and run so smoothly! He also brought a second photographer which we wouldn't have gotten with the other photographers we looked into without an additional fee. The value for money is absolutely unmatched. We can't rave enough about our experience with Tahoe North Films!

Greg and his team were incredible. My husband and I are not huge photo people, so we had no direction of how we wanted things to look. Greg led us through the whole process, listened to our small list of needs, and curated a portfolio for us that is STUNNING. Matches our vibe perfectly and we are so grateful for it. Before meeting Tahoe North Films, I was so anxious if our venue would be “photogenic” enough, but they absolutely captured the perfect angles and captured our love in every shot. We also took pictures around Carmel and Greg did some research beforehand and knew exactly the right spots based on inspiration photos that we shared. We were extremely pleased with his approach, great energy and talent capturing such a unique and unforgettable moment. I am so incredibly pleased with the wedding photography services I received from Tahoe North Films, and I am so grateful for the ease of my experiences working with Greg, Kate, and Sarah.
I found the Tahoe North Films website while researching photographers in the surrounding area of our venue, and the galleries featured there were as tender, natural, and quality as my husband and I were looking for. We were also very impressed with the wedding package’s offer of a photo album and second photographer, as we had otherwise only seen these as add-ons at a considerably higher total price point. After a phone conversation with Greg, my husband and I went ahead with securing his services, and we remain convinced this is the best choice we could have made for such a monumental day.
The day of our wedding, Greg and Sarah— the contracted second photographer— arrived as expected and separated to capture the bridal party, groomsmen, and venue details while the wedding party got ready. They unfortunately met a rather overwhelmed bride, as I was struggling to style my hair and makeup as I was hoping, but Sarah was so gracious, patient, and reassuring as she stayed in the suite with us. She got all the shots I could have wished for, and she never for a moment contributed to any of the hurry or insecurity I was imposing on myself. During this time, Greg was busy getting incredible pictures of my husband, his family, and his party— many of which have been likened to magazine covers by ourselves and others :)
While my husband and I hadn’t really considered having more than one photographer before we discovered Tahoe North Films, we are so relieved that things played out as they did, because we so love being able to look at our ceremony from multiple perspectives. Our event was initially intended to be held outdoors, and it was until just after the ceremony, but heavy rainfall moved things inside and eliminated the possibility of taking advantage of much of the venue’s scenery as planned. Greg and Sarah were quick to find solutions and new photo locations, and they did not mind getting wet while doing so. A bit farther into the reception, Greg even suggested we go out and take pictures of my husband and I walking through our venue’s beautiful driveway sharing an umbrella, and the photos— unsurprisingly— turned out remarkably. Because the weather did prevent us from taking traditional sunset couples photos as discussed, Greg did offer an hour-long couples’ photography session in the year following our event date at no charge, which we are very excited to take him up on. While we had only arranged for Tahoe North Films to stay a little beyond the first dance, Greg ended up staying until the very end of our event, and the photos we gained from that time are truly precious and priceless.
The majority of our communication with Tahoe North Films both before and after the wedding was through email correspondence with Katie, who has been very patient, kind, and clear throughout. She provided the wedding worksheet that collected our input for formal portrait arrangements and our photo book design, let us know when our online gallery was updated, and checked in with us about editing preferences when the gallery was completed. These preferences were fulfilled and turned out exactly as desired.
My husband and I paid $1,800 for two photographers, 6 hours of contracted photography, an online gallery of over 350 photos, two thumb drives with our images, photo release, and a personalized photo album. We were married at the tail end of 2023’s wedding season, and we received a sneak peek of 11 photos after two weeks, the first half of our gallery a little after 12 weeks, and the remainder a little less than a week after that. We are beyond satisfied with what we received for what we paid, and the quality of the Tahoe North Films’ services is abundantly evident in the photos they produce. If we were to do our wedding day all over again, we would easily choose Tahoe North Films to come along for the journey again— and we would allot ourselves a little more time for hair and makeup ;)

Greg and Allison were fantastic on my wedding day. My day-of coordinator was running super late and was very unorganized. On top of their incredible photography, Greg and Allison jumped in to help in any way possible, including Allison helping to keep me calm behind the scenes. They were fun and inviting. I would highly recommend them to anyone seeking a photographer/videographer!!

Working with Greg was a breeze. We did our engagement photos (with dogs!) with him as well as our wedding photos.
He is easy to talk to, makes himself clear, and was so patient with all the different family dynamics that were needed for photos! We did our engagement photos with him as well as our wedding photos. We were so comfortable with him that it made it fun and easy to be on display.

My fiancé and I wanted to take pictures in Tahoe to celebrate our engagement as it is the place we met. Even though he was not our wedding photographer since we’re getting married outside of Tahoe, Greg was very helpful in choosing the locations for the photoshoot, flexible with scheduling, and the photos turned out great! He was also able to incorporate some editing and our requests which was very appreciated. We were delighted with the final results and the photos will forever be a special reminder of our engagement and Tahoe.
