We had the pleasure of doing an engagement photo session and having Greg and on our wedding day. When we did the engagement session my husband and I had never done a professional photo shoot before. Greg was very helpful in telling us how to stand and what to do which helped a lot. He was very patient with us and gave clear instructions. On our wedding day he was also very clear with the timeline and when we needed to do everything. His assistant was also great and helped me greatly with how to do things and when. We just got our sneak peak back from our wedding and they are absolutely amazing. We could not be happier with the photos. -

When we were first looking for wedding photographers to hire we were pleased to find Tahoe North Films-- Greg through this process. His pricing was very reasonable, the calls that we had with him were productive and helpful. He even came out to the town (Genoa) we were getting married in to 'scout out' good spots to take pictures a month before the wedding. Greg was accommodating to time, how we felt as a couple and helped us remember to enjoy our day!! Often enough when it is your big day you get stressed out and he made sure that we were all in the moment, and helped guide us throughout the day, and we were ahead of time the entire day!! He goes the extra mile to make sure that you are taken care of in every way necessary. Food, water, too hot? too cold?, need anything extra?? He is always prepared for everything and is always checking in! His second shooter and himself worked well together and you could tell that they were on the same page. My dress had a long train so they made sure that no one stepped on it and kept an eye on the little details that might've gone amiss. When we got our sneak peak photos we were so happy with the results!!! The pictures are beautiful and they were so much better than we imagined! Greg and his staff go the extra mile to make sure that they can help in whatever way that may be... we had to be out of a venue at midnight and as my crew was packing up he stepped in and helped!! We were not expecting it at all but, that is the person that you are hiring -- someone who is thoughtful to his surroundings, you and your spouse & goes with all the ebs and flows of a wedding day! Couldn't recommend him and his staff enough!! -

We viewed a few photographers in Tahoe and Tahoe area, it wasn’t until browsing online on TheKnot, where we came across Tahoe North Films Photography. I really liked Greg’s work and decided to reach out for estimates and his packages. We are from San Diego, and this was a destination wedding so searching for vendors without the ability to meet prior was a little stressful, but his work was so beautiful and communication was swift and professional, we decided to proceed.
We decided on a package that worked for us, but later, added a few hours, maybe 2 weeks prior to the wedding which there was no issue with so we were really grateful for that.
The contract was straightforward and communication was very fast to respond.
The day of, Greg and his associate made me feel at ease. I’m a bit camera shy so they helped a lot with positioning and their calmness and professionalism made me feel more comfortable as well.
Not too long after, we were sent our previews and I got a bit emotional. That day went so fast and being able to view what was captured, that background and the love all around us.. it was a lot to take in and we couldn’t be more thrilled to have chosen Tahoe North Films Photography. The work is breath taking and we’re so excited to see the rest when completed.

Greg at Tahoe North Films was absolutely amazing! He went above and beyond what I'd imagine most photographers do. Our photos turned out so beautiful and he was so helpful. Even our guests were commenting on how great he was! He also stayed an hour later than he was meant to and helped us load gifts and boxes at the end of the night. He truly went above and beyond to give us great photos and make our night so special and run so smoothly! He also brought a second photographer which we wouldn't have gotten with the other photographers we looked into without an additional fee. The value for money is absolutely unmatched. We can't rave enough about our experience with Tahoe North Films! -

Greg and his team were incredible. My husband and I are not huge photo people, so we had no direction of how we wanted things to look. Greg led us through the whole process, listened to our small list of needs, and curated a portfolio for us that is STUNNING. Matches our vibe perfectly and we are so grateful for it. The most incredible vendor!
Greg and his team were absolutely incredible the entire day. Before meeting Tahoe North Films, I was so anxious if our venue would be “photogenic” enough, but they absolutely captured the perfect angles and captured our love in every shot. I cannot stress enough how in love we are with our sneak peak gallery and can’t wait to receive the rest of our photos!
They took the time to have several phone call meetings with us, and were very prepared throughout the entire day with our schedule to make sure we got all of the shots we wanted and more. If I could leave more stars I would!! Thank you for capturing our beautiful day -

Amazing photographer!
Our wedding day captured by Tahoe North Films was truly amazing. Greg and his team have a unique style and they capture not only the moments, ambiance but also the feeling of the special day. Greg and his team went above and beyond to ensure every moment was perfect, from the intimate shots, creative angles, creative solutions and all with the best energy! We were impressed by their creativity and attention to detail during all the process. Additionally, their flexibility in accommodating our specific requests made us feel valued and heard throughout the entire experience. We also took pictures around Carmel and Greg did some research beforehand and knew exactly the right spots based on inspiration photos that we shared. We were extremely pleased with his approach, great energy and talent capturing such a unique and unforgettable moment. We are grateful for the beautiful memories they helped us preserve and would recommend Tahoe North Films to any couple looking for a talented and customer-focused videography team. -

I am so incredibly pleased with the wedding photography services I received from Tahoe North Films, and I am so grateful for the ease of my experiences working with Greg, Kate, and Sarah.
I found the Tahoe North Films website while researching photographers in the surrounding area of our venue, and the galleries featured there were as tender, natural, and quality as my husband and I were looking for. We were also very impressed with the wedding package’s offer of a photo album and second photographer, as we had otherwise only seen these as add-ons at a considerably higher total price point. After a phone conversation with Greg, my husband and I went ahead with securing his services, and we remain convinced this is the best choice we could have made for such a monumental day.
The day of our wedding, Greg and Sarah— the contracted second photographer— arrived as expected and separated to capture the bridal party, groomsmen, and venue details while the wedding party got ready. They unfortunately met a rather overwhelmed bride, as I was struggling to style my hair and makeup as I was hoping, but Sarah was so gracious, patient, and reassuring as she stayed in the suite with us. She got all the shots I could have wished for, and she never for a moment contributed to any of the hurry or insecurity I was imposing on myself. During this time, Greg was busy getting incredible pictures of my husband, his family, and his party— many of which have been likened to magazine covers by ourselves and others :)
While my husband and I hadn’t really considered having more than one photographer before we discovered Tahoe North Films, we are so relieved that things played out as they did, because we so love being able to look at our ceremony from multiple perspectives. Our event was initially intended to be held outdoors, and it was until just after the ceremony, but heavy rainfall moved things inside and eliminated the possibility of taking advantage of much of the venue’s scenery as planned. Greg and Sarah were quick to find solutions and new photo locations, and they did not mind getting wet while doing so. A bit farther into the reception, Greg even suggested we go out and take pictures of my husband and I walking through our venue’s beautiful driveway sharing an umbrella, and the photos— unsurprisingly— turned out remarkably. Because the weather did prevent us from taking traditional sunset couples photos as discussed, Greg did offer an hour-long couples’ photography session in the year following our event date at no charge, which we are very excited to take him up on. While we had only arranged for Tahoe North Films to stay a little beyond the first dance, Greg ended up staying until the very end of our event, and the photos we gained from that time are truly precious and priceless.
The majority of our communication with Tahoe North Films both before and after the wedding was through email correspondence with Katie, who has been very patient, kind, and clear throughout. She provided the wedding worksheet that collected our input for formal portrait arrangements and our photo book design, let us know when our online gallery was updated, and checked in with us about editing preferences when the gallery was completed. These preferences were fulfilled and turned out exactly as desired.
My husband and I paid $1,800 for two photographers, 6 hours of contracted photography, an online gallery of over 350 photos, two thumb drives with our images, photo release, and a personalized photo album. We were married at the tail end of 2023’s wedding season, and we received a sneak peek of 11 photos after two weeks, the first half of our gallery a little after 12 weeks, and the remainder a little less than a week after that. We are beyond satisfied with what we received for what we paid, and the quality of the Tahoe North Films’ services is abundantly evident in the photos they produce. If we were to do our wedding day all over again, we would easily choose Tahoe North Films to come along for the journey again— and we would allot ourselves a little more time for hair and makeup ;) -

Working with Greg was a breeze. We did our engagement photos (with dogs!) with him as well as our wedding photos.
He is easy to talk to, makes himself clear, and was so patient with all the different family dynamics that were needed for photos! We did our engagement photos with him as well as our wedding photos. We were so comfortable with him that it made it fun and easy to be on display.
All of our pictures came out beautiful and really captured all of our precious moments!

My fiancé and I wanted to take pictures in Tahoe to celebrate our engagement as it is the place we met. Even though he was not our wedding photographer since we’re getting married outside of Tahoe, Greg was very helpful in choosing the locations for the photoshoot, flexible with scheduling, and the photos turned out great! He was also able to incorporate some editing and our requests which was very appreciated. We were delighted with the final results and the photos will forever be a special reminder of our engagement and Tahoe. -

Captured all the magic of our perfect day!
We almost can't put into words how much we loved working with Greg and his team! They were super responsive leading up to the wedding, answering all of our questions and helping us prep our set list. On the wedding day itself, Greg and Sara were absolute rock stars, capturing every moment big and small. It sometimes seemed like there were two of each of them -- that's how active they were in making sure they got everything! They were also both incredibly kind in reassuring us as we ran behind schedule, and were diligent in making sure that we still got every photo on our list and then some.
While it did take a bit longer than expected (about 8 weeks) to receive the final photos after the wedding, they were 100% worth the wait! Every photo was just gorgeous, and they caught so many of the beautiful little things that fly by in the day-of blur. Touching photos of our family members shedding happy tears, laughing and hugs between our bridal party and friends, little secret smiles shared between the bride and groom when we thought no one was looking... they caught it all, seemingly by magic, as they never felt intrusive or in the way. We seriously can't stop looking at the photos, and wish we had room in our home to print and frame all of them!
If you want beautiful wedding photos at an incredible price, from some of the nicest photographers you'll ever meet, you definitely need to book Tahoe North Films. We will forever be grateful to Greg and Sara for taking photos that we will truly cherish for a lifetime! -

I was always told not to skimp on a good photographer or videographer for a wedding so I did my research! We were due to get married Oct 2020 and had a photographer picked out but due to Covid we had to reschedule our wedding and our photographer fell off the face of the earth!
I did a TON of research on photographers and found Tahoe North Films. Greg was one of many photographers I reached out to and asked a ton of questions to. He called me and was very patient! Greg’s work is not only amazing but he’s truly dedicated to get to know the couple and went above and beyond for us!
Our engagement photos turned out beautiful so I had complete faith in our wedding photos! Greg brought a second photographer along named Jessica who was so much fun and did a wonderful job making everyone feel comfortable behind the camera!! Greg returned a few edited photos to us a few days after our wedding which was so fun to re-live on our honeymoon! I would recommend Tahoe North Films 1,000 times over!! -

Highly recommend
Super professional, friendly and easy to work with. Greg even saved the day, was fully prepared with a first aid and helped my brother bandage up his hand when he accidentally cut himself lol! Greg and his assistant were the perfect fit for our wedding, very easygoing and professional. Would recommend them to anyone, very reasonably priced for beautiful photos and such an awesome video! Love! -

From the beginning Greg was incredible to work with! He is beyond reasonably priced for the incredible quality and experience he provides. Easy going
Greg and Carly were perfect for our easygoing Tahoe wedding. They kept great communication and everyone who requested certain pictures from them they were able to accommodate. I also loved that they kept in touch with the DJ on their schedules of the day. I couldn't have asked for a better wedding photographer! -
