Hello and welcome! I am so excited you are here! My name is Alison Galloway and I am the owner and lead photographer of Alison Shane Photography.
I have been an East Tennessee photographer, based out of the Knoxville area, for six and a half years. I have now relocated since Summer 2022 to the Reno/Lake Tahoe area. I am a licensed and insured Lifestyle, Portrait, and Wedding Photographer that services the Reno/Lake Tahoe area and East Tennessee. I am also willing to travel anywhere, including destination weddings! (I have a passport) I love to capture the memories of people's lives for them to last a lifetime!!

Everyone has been raving about our pictures! We were married at the zoo which was unique enough but I love our poses as well! We Hired Alison for our wedding ceremony on November 3rd 2019. From day one she was always reachable and so quick to respond. I had a minimal vision of what I was looking for in our wedding photos and she not only made that happen, she went above and beyond with additional requests during our time with her. Her professionalism as well as her passion and excitement she has when taking photos, makes having your picture taken the most enjoyable experience ever. She was making me more excited and happy when she was giddy after a shot. She worked well with our families. Even when one of our families was defiantly not use to listening to any directions. I also had A LOT of last minute changes to our time line for the day of and she and her assistant were 1,000% flexible and made thigs happen. I had my stress minimized on our day, because of Alison.
I am currently still waiting for all our photos. But from her 5 sneak peaks she released, I simply can not wait to see the rest of them!-

I am originally from California and moved to the Smokey Mountains back in 2009. We have now relocated to the Reno/Lake Tahoe area since Summer 2022. I have been married to my wonderful husband, Addison, since November 5, 2011, and he has been my number one supporter in this adventure of a photographer. We have three beautiful children, Andrew, Anakin, and Alizabeth. (Yes, we all have "A" names) Besides my love for photography, I run on coffee and have a HUGE Disney & Universal obsession. I'm also a Ravenclaw. My hobbies include reading and purchasing books faster than I can read them.
I’ve lived in East Tennessee since 2008 and met my husband in 2011. We were high school sweethearts and have been married for 6 years and have a wonderful 4 year old son named Niklaus. I’ve worked for Alison for 3 years and absolutely love getting to be a part of so many special moments! My hobbies include renovating my house, refereeing wrestling matches between my son and husband and sneaking a nap in any chance I get!
