Anne did a fantastic job planning our wedding in November 2019. Her design work is impeccable and she has amazing taste—I trusted her instincts from the beginning. Her eye for detail is top-notch, and that immediately put me at ease. I knew that no stone would be left unturned. Anne connected us with a team of wonderful vendors who executed at an incredibly high level. I was planning from out of town, and Anne worked with me to use my time in Charlotte efficiently but was always available if I had a question. My husband and I have received numerous compliments on the flow of the wedding from friends and family—it was a great experience for our guests (and us too!). We had the great pleasure of working with Anne to plan our wedding at Charlotte Country Club last month. Anne was an invaluable asset throughout the planning process and I appreciated her honest ideas and opinions. She quickly honed in on my style and preferences which was very helpful in her identification of potential vendors for me to work with both in leading up to the wedding day and for the day of. It was also tremendously beneficial to have her present at all the design meetings (florist, stationery, rentals) as well to offer advice and insight. She has a great rapport with her colleagues in the industry here in Charlotte which put my mind at ease that things would run seamlessly for our big day. There were many times in the months leading up to the wedding that we asked … “what would we do without Anne?” She was always professional, organized, responsive, and has a great sense of humor! She was particularly a godsend in the last month or so before the wedding when she organized timelines, handled all the final vendor communications, etc. It took a huge load off my plate and allowed me to really focus on that time with family and friends. Seeing all the months of planning culminate on our wedding day with such a beautiful, elegant, and fun celebration was such a gift. It’s hard to know where to start with describing Anne of Favor Me Events. It was the most amazing feeling seeing our wedding come to life after a year of planning. It has been 2.5 months since our wedding day and I still relive the incredible joy of experiencing all of the details Anne created on a daily basis! Anne planned our wedding from afar and we LITERALLY could not have done it without her. She took our visions and ideas (that were at times poorly formed and/or not described all that well to her!) and expanded upon them to somehow execute the most perfect reality. Her natural talent and intuition is unmatched - she recognized when I needed a boost of confidence in the decision making process and was so patient and supportive along the way! Guests continue to tell us how wonderful the wedding was- from the flowers to the food and down to the details of the decor. She accommodated all of our requests and was so efficient in responding to our many questions. Anne is #GOALS when it comes to having a wedding planner! Words cannot express how absolutely AMAZING she is! She took the time to understand my personality, style, lifestyle and budget and was able to make my dream wedding come to life! Anne created the perfect wedding for us. She was super professional throughout the experience, and I was immediately comfortable that she understood what I wanted and would offer good insights. She had previously planned a wedding that I loved from photos, she understood what I liked about it and adapted that to fit my husband and I. She offered options for each facet, helped us make decisions when needed, and helped us pick awesome vendors that fit exactly what we wanted. Numerous guests told me that our wedding was the best run that they had been to, which allowed all of us to kick back and have a good time. I can't think of enough good things to say about this except that I would have lost my mind without Anne's help. Once I handed everything over to her I instantly felt better. She did a great job of navigating working with both my mom and I, and working with my mother in law for the rehearsal dinner (which was also flawless). I'll recommend her to everyone I know that's getting married because she's the best.

I absolutely could not have planned my wedding without the help of Anne! She connected me with the perfect vendors to make my wedding a dream come true. Her constant communication with myself as well as the vendors allowed the planning process to be extremely organized and seamless. The weekend of the wedding I was able to enjoy spending time with all of our family and friends that came into town without having to worry for a second about any wedding logistics thanks to Anne! Anne was an absolute LIFESAVER to say the least.... I truly can't imagine what our wedding day would have been like without her. We planned our wedding from a distance, which was definitely an added stress. Having someone who was not only knowledgeable on vendors but also had years of experience working with vendors in the area, helped tremendously in alleviating the concern we had with not being able to visit with vendors in person due to distance. **A Groom's Perspective** Like most grooms-to-be, following the proposal I had no real concept of wedding planning, or everything it entailed. Thankfully, our first post-proposal decision was retaining Anne! As DC residents, the specter of long distance wedding planning loomed large, but following our first meeting with Anne, we knew that at a minimum, we had selected the perfect planner for our wedding in my wife's hometown! By the time of our first meeting, we had only selected our venue (the Charlotte City Club). Beyond the venue, we were a blank canvas. Anne helped us develop a vision, and ultimately executed it flawlessly.

After understanding our general preferences, budget, and schedule, Anne coordinated a whirlwind one day tour of multiple vendors. By day’s end, we had selected our florist, linens, cake, and our save the date/invitation vendor. For an out-of-town couple, the efficiency of this day was remarkable. Anne has established relationships with all of Charlotte’s top vendors and was able to leverage those relationships to accommodate our schedule and provide us with numerous great options. Further, because Anne understands their processes and her clients’ wishes, she is able to articulate your vision coherently to the vendor even if you are unable to do so yourself. Because my experience with Anne was so positive, my family separately retained Anne to plan the rehearsal dinner.

From our first meeting, Anne kept us on schedule, organized and informed. Her value and professionalism cannot be overstated, and I cannot imagine enduring the planning and wedding day without her. Because of Anne, we were able to truly embrace the moment without concerning ourselves with the details.
