My husband and I used Fava Pot's food truck for our 10th wedding anniversary party at Frying Pan Farm. When booking them, they were responsive, answered all my questions, and we so helpful. All communication with them was great. The day of, they arrived early and prepared, and when we started servicing food to the guests they were attentive and meet all their needs. EVERYONE loved the food. People were even grabbing extras to take home with them later. I would hire/use them again! Also, if you ever go into the restaurant in falls church, they will make you feel like family!

Fava Pot catered our rehearsal dinner in November 2014 and it was perfect! I wanted a middle eastern theme and Dina created the perfect menu that fit the flavor profiles I wanted. The set up was gorgeous and on-time. She worked with the hotel directly to arrange parking and equipment pickup. We had so much good food leftover that we used it in the guys and girls wedding prep rooms for a huge lunch too. The flavors were so great and working with Dina was a true pleasure. Felt like family and we still chat! My husband ordered a huge first anniversary dinner from Fava Pot too and surprised me with it. Dina went out of her way to help him with the secret surprise delivery. Thanks, Dina!!

Fava Pot is one of our favorite local eats! We catered Fava Pot for our pre-wedding welcome dinner for family and friends that had already arrived into town. We reached out online very early on in our wedding planning process to let Dina know what we were looking for. We set up a call with Dina and she had recommendations for how much we should order for the dinner, as well as guidance on how the process and day-of logistics would work. Once our numbers were firm (roughly 1 month prior to the event) we placed our catering order and paid online.

We knew going into it that the food with Fava Pot would be exceptional—and that there would be options for vegetarian and GF diets. Dina/Fava Pot is licensed to handle food from start to finish, so Dina personally delivered our order to the venue we were at and set up all the trays of food over warmers. The catering order also includes biodegradable utensils, which I really appreciated; it is green *and* one less thing I had to worry about. My only quibble was that we were promised serving utensils…and they weren’t included! We didn’t notice this until after Dina had left and the venue we were at (a brewery) couldn’t help cover. Guests made do…but it could have been a bit better. We had a significant amount of food leftover—much more than what we had left from our actual wedding—so if anything, I would encourage future customers to consider their order carefully to minimize excess. At a price of ~$13pp, I am definitely not complaining! We were happy to have chosen Fava Pot to share with all of our guests and look forward to returning to the brick-and-mortar location again soon too.

Dina and the Fava Pot catered our park wedding with their lovely food truck. I could not recommend them highly enough, not only because their food is delicious + made-from-scratch and they support girl's education in Egypt with their proceeds, but also because of Dina herself. She is a beautiful spirit to get to work with through every step of the process. She gave us so much positive energy while planning and trying foods, and I feel lucky that our wedding planning process introduced us to her. Thank you, Dina and thank you to the whole Fava Pot team!

Fava Pot is the best Egyptian food and I'm so glad we had them at our wedding! Many guests commented on how delicious the food was and no one left hungry. Dina and her team delivered the most amazing chicken kabobs, salmon, falafel, hummus, grape-leaves, and other side dishes, and were very flexible with the menu. An area for improvement would be better coordination with my wedding planner for day-of tasks/scheduling. Overall, highly recommend!

After taste-testing and researching several food trucks for our wedding we decided to go with Fava Pot. We wanted to give our guests a taste of the DC food truck scene. Fava Pot was delicious, Dina was incredibly easy to work with, and it was a great value. A number of guests commented on how much they enjoyed the food. I was incredibly pleased with the service and food that we got.

We used Fava Pot for our DIY wedding after we realized doing our own food was going to be more trouble than is was worth. After looking around at different options, we eventually settled on Fava Pot. The initial process took a while to get going as I think they are a very small operation. E-mails took a while to get responded to, but it was worth the wait. Their chicken is probably the best chicken I have ever had! For a food truck, you can't beat the price and flexibility they offered. All the food they provided was delicious and Dina is super nice and easy to work with.
