“Famous” Dave Anderson set out to create the finest barbecue in the United States, inspired by his dad’s love of Southern cuisine. Dave has traveled the country learning all he can about barbecue.. Now he dedicates his life to perfecting his BBQ craft! In 1994, he founded the first Famous Dave’s in Hayward, WI, and has since opened outlets across the United States and abroad. Famous Dave’s team sources the best meat, which they trim like they’re in competition.. before rubbing them down with fresh spices!
