Zach was a dreamer, lead by excitement and a slight obsession for pizza, driven by a heart to serve. Now, good intention and passion can certainly start a fire, but consistency and planning keeps that fire alive.

Cue Shanna - [A lot] more left brained, with a track record for organized, planned success. The “Grid” that hides behind an artists design, the deciding factor between good and great.
It just so happens they married each other - and a few years later Fat Zach’s was born.

Everyone dreams of their perfect wedding day, and with a complimentary couple like Zach and Shanna, it was bound to be a colorful, fun but logistically sound event - and in a perfect world it could have been. However the wedding industry proved to be rigid and strict, putting Zach and Shanna’s big plans in a box and if they didn’t fit in that box - they had to be abandoned.

Luckily, the memory of one’s wedding is never too far away, so as Zach and Shanna built Fat Zach’s, they made sure when they opened their catering division and weddings were starting to book, they would go above and beyond to make the day tailored to the couple they were serving, custom crafting an experience, after all - its THEIR day!

Zach and Shanna continue to do life and business together - playing to their individual strengths in raising their son, maintaining a healthy marriage and cultivating a well rounded, balanced business - providing personal and professional service to each and every client they cater.

Sometimes love is handholding, vacations, slow dancing…and sometimes love is pizza making, paper pushing, late nights and no days off - but doing it all alongside someone that you love, they wouldn’t change a thing.

Fat Zach's Pizza is a wedding catering business based in Puyallup, Washington, specializing in delicious pizza buffets. The company is renowned for its gourmet wood-fired pizzas and charcuterie displays, wowing couples with a luxurious and showstopping feast. Initially established in 2018, the team started serving the local area from a food cart before opening a dine-in restaurant. Now, with two locations and a mobile pizza oven, the pizza company can cater for weddings throughout the Greater South Sound Area.
