We had our fairytale wedding at Disney's Wedding Pavilion earlier this month. We weren't sure if we needed a day of coordinator, so we booked FTWB only a week before the wedding. Thankfully, they were incredibly flexible with our timeline.

Michelle and DeShawna were an essential contribution to our wedding day. It wouldn't have been feasible for our family to set up the decor on our own. They handled it with class and ease. I don’t even know where to begin—Michelle from Fairy Tales & Wedding Bells quite literally saved our wedding, working seamlessly alongside Disney to bring everything together when it felt like it was all falling apart.

I hired Michelle just six weeks before our Disney wedding, after having to let go of our original planner. At that point, everything was in chaos. Our BEO was nowhere near complete, timelines hadn’t been properly created, vendor communication was lacking, and what should have been organized by our previous planner had turned into a complete organized disaster. I had to completely redo all of the décor and plans for our ceremony at Sea Breeze Point, Tower of Terror reception, and our farewell dinner at the Whitehall Room. I was overwhelmed, stressed, and honestly terrified that our wedding simply wasn’t going to come together.

Late one night after realizing I could no longer work with the other planner, I reached out to Michelle. She texted me at like 6:30am the next morning and we immediately jumped on a call. After that very first call, I knew I was in excellent hands. Without any hesitation, she got right to work reviewing all the documents and putting plans together. With only six weeks to pull everything together, she stepped in, got everything organized, and was there for me every step of the way.

What could have been a complete unorganized disaster turned into the Disney wedding of our dreams because of her ❤️

Michelle went above and beyond in every possible way. She was responsive, proactive, incredibly detail-oriented, and endlessly supportive. She walked me through what was missing, what needed to change, and what could be improved, offering thoughtful suggestions and coming up with unique, one-of-a-kind ideas that made our wedding feel truly ours, which I can’t wait to share once we get our photos back. She tells everyone that it was my idea when really it was all her.

She worked seamlessly with Disney, and the collaboration between them was incredible to watch. Disney was very receptive and worked proactively to bring my vision to life, and Michelle knew exactly how to partner with them to make sure nothing fell through the cracks. It truly felt like a team effort, and the results were better than I could have imagined.

She managed our timelines for every event flawlessly and even suggested finishing hair and makeup 30 minutes early. That extra time allowed me to actually enjoy the moment, spend meaningful time with my wedding party and family, and be fully present instead of rushed or stressed. It made such a difference.

On the wedding day, I was able to relax and just enjoy myself because I trusted Michelle completely. Everything ran smoothly, beautifully, and seamlessly from Sea Breeze Point to the Tower of Terror and all the way through our farewell dinner the next evening, and that is 100 percent because of her dedication and hard work. We kept her up until 4:30am, and with very little sleep she was back the next morning with a smile on her face and excited for the next event. She somehow managed my parents when they were being difficult the morning of our ceremony, which alone deserves an award.

If you are looking for a planner who truly cares, who will advocate for your vision, who will show up when things feel impossible and make them feel effortless, Michelle is that person. Hiring her was the best decision I made during wedding planning, and I will forever be grateful for her. If I could go back in time, I would hire her from the very beginning without hesitation. Starting with booking my rehearsal dinner through Hoop Dee Doo Revue Disney only allows you to have one reservation per person. I was only able to secure 3 tables of 6 (18 seats total) when I needed 28. I tried calling Disney and they were absolutely no help. Since it's not one of the preferred rehearsal spots Disney's Wedding Team wasn't able to help either. I'm not sure what Michelle did or said but she called Disney Dining on my behalf and they were able to secure a table of 10 for us to get our full 28 spots 🙏. Hoop Dee Doo is our favorite dining spot at Disney and it meant so much to us for our friends and family to experience it with us. She even got them to have us all sat together at 2 big tables and we got a special shout out during the show. My husband's best man was chosen as the Toot-Toot Specialist which was even better 🤣

Almost all of my vendors had worked with Michelle previously and were excited to hear she was my outside coordinator!

Rehearsal went smoothly and the FTWB made us feel like Royalty! It was awesome! Both Michelle and Jenny are so knowledgeable about Disney Weddings and we felt at ease the whole weekend!

Wedding Day hubs and I were staying at the Grand in different sections but we kept our room at the Beach Club the whole time so we didn't have to move our stuff. I forgot to grab my contacts and Michelle rushed over there without hesitation to grab them for me so I didn't need to worry 🙏 We ordered quick service for everyone and she helped my MOH carry it back to my room so I didn't have to worry about that too.

My MIL made all of our decor so it was very important to have someone else set everything up so our family and friends could be present during our whole day. Jenny and her daughter took care of everything. My MIL had a vision for how everything needed to be set up and they exceeded her expectations 🙏 they did such a good job! ❤️

At the end of the reception they also took everything back to our room at the Beach Club so we didn't need to worry about anything throughout the whole day.

I found Michelle and her team about 3-4 months before my wedding this past June at Walt Disney World's Grand Floridian and she completely saved my wedding and my budget!
