Where to even begin?? We are so grateful we had Stacy from Events by Memory Lane throughout our wedding planning process! ! She helped us think through every detail - big and small - throughout the whole planning process. From the start when she helped us determine our vision and priorities for our wedding to the very end when every detail was just as we hoped for, she was there!

Stacy makes you feel like you're friends (even family!) while still being professional. She communicated well, kept us on track, and taught us a thing or two about wedding planning along the way. She assisted with vendor selections, contracts, design planning, invitation lists, and the many, many other items in-between.

We cannot say enough good things about Stacy! We hired her as our day-of coordinator, and I feel like we could not have chosen a better person. She was thorough, responsive, and enthusiastic. In the time leading up to the wedding she offered excellent advice, and on the wedding day she made sure things ran smoothly. She even had a special tool to help me with my bustle. She managed our vendors beautifully and we are so thankful to her for making the day amazing!

Stacy is truly the key to having the wedding of your dreams! From the very beginning, she makes sure to take the time to understand what you want in your dream wedding through meetings, phone calls, Pinterest board collaborations, and questionnaires (super thorough and makes sure everyone is on the same page). We originally planned an amazing event for 200+ guests with Stacy. About a month before our original wedding date the pandemic started. Three postponements, two location changes, and many vendor swaps later, we can confidently say Stacy is the MVP of wedding planners. She was calm, supportive, and cheerful during our original wedding planning AND also through our replanning process. We spent over two years together and sent tons of detailed emails and had numerous phone calls and meetings with Stacy and we only have the highest praise for her. She is organized, an excellent communicator, creative, detail-oriented, and very patient. Importantly, Stacy is a great relationship builder with not only with her clients, but also with vendors (which was really important when we had to make so many changes because of postponements). She is as fully committed to your dream wedding as you are. We can’t emphasis enough how wonderful it is to know on your wedding that everything is taken care of and you can just enjoy the day. We are so grateful for everything she did to make our wedding truly magical and we can’t thank and recommend her enough!

She is so reliable that I will just “give” my little anxious wife to her without any second thought to finish meeting with the vendors when I have to go back to work in the middle of that meeting. Can you imagine how great that is?

When my wife is worried about something regarding the wedding planning (there are a lot to worry about, right? Especially when neither of us had one before:)n), she will always give her a very detailed and clear answer calmly and patiently either through phone or in person, which makes us so relieved and truly believe she always keeps on top of everything. Stacy was a fantastic day-of coordinator for our wedding at the Museum of Life and Science in Durham, NC! Everything went as smoothly as possible and Stacy and her team took care of everything as it came up. We also hired Stacy to do a few a la carte items - helping with design and hotels for guests. As someone who doesn't have a Pinterest account ( and had no interest in going down that rabbit hole) - Stacy used my input to create a PDF design board that I could take with me to vendor meetings - which made the planning process so much easier. I loved working with Stacy and highly recommend her.

Stacy (owner) of Events By Memory Lane, is a top notch wedding planner. I could tell she was the perfect fit for planning our special day from the first phone call. The wedding board she created after our first meeting, was exactly what I had envisioned. She worked with my husband and I, for over a year and a half, bringing our vision/ideas to life. She helped us navigate through the crazy world of wedding planning and I don’t think we could have done it without her. We give her over a 5 star rating.

During wedding planning, Stacy actually managed to get me even more excited about my wedding. Then, on wedding day, there were a couple of hiccups that my husband and I didn’t even notice because Stacy smoothed them over immediately. I love that we were able to enjoy the actual day of our wedding without any stress.

I can't say enough good things about Stacy and all the work she did to give us an amazing wedding. Both my Wife and I have very busy work schedules and she did a phenomenal job keeping us on track, organized, and providing advice when we needed it. The other major thing that sticks out to me was her performance during the "day of" coordination. There are a million details to get right, and the Bride & Groom can either spend their wedding day worrying about them, or enjoy that truly special occasion because they trust their coordinator to take care of business. I'm happy to say that we had the best day of our lives because Stacy stayed on top of EVERYTHING. Hiring Stacy was one of if not the best decision we made when hiring for our wedding. She was able to listen to the both of us and guide our choices by understanding what we were going for but having no idea how to articulate it well. We ended up with our absolute dream wedding exactly as I envisioned it. I was prepared for something to go a little off course as one might, and not even a single speed bump along the way. She connected us with the perfect vendors and then managed everything on the day. Not a single thought was spent worrying about what went where on our special day and frankly this was some of the best money we spent for that piece of mind, easily worth double! Our wedding was six months ago and one of the best days of my life, and bad of me to wait this long to write a review but it that amazing to the point that I was not ready to close the door on it as I am still basking in the haze of a dream come true.
