I cannot say enough good things about Catherine and La Fete. She was our day-of-coordinator for a wedding at the Carolina Inn, but she did so much more and was with us every step of the way. She thought of everything, was so organized, and made our weekend entirely stress free. I lived in CA while planning our wedding in NC, and she was always available to meet in person when we were in town. I'm not sure I would have felt the need to book a coordinator or planner if it were not a part of our Carolina Inn package, but now I cannot imagine not doing it. The fact that my mom and mother-in-law just got to sit back and enjoy the day was everything. Thank you Catherine!!!

I can’t say enough good things about my experience with La Fete and specifically with Catherine Langhart – she is truly a professional but you also feel like you have a friend helping you through the process. She was extremely knowledgeable about everything, she went above and beyond answering the million questions we had. She was able to point us in the right direction for other vendors we used, and really made everything as seamless as can be in the months leading up to our wedding, and including the day of the event. I cannot stress enough how amazing it was to have Events by La Fete as my wedding planner and designer. One of the first vendors I booked was Events by La Fete and they made my entire wedding planning process so enjoyable. Casey went above and beyond to make sure everything was absolutely perfect. I live in Washington, D.C. which made it harder to go to vendors, walk throughs, etc (especially with COVID) but Casey made it so seamless. I felt comfortable having her help me make decisions and bringing my wedding vision to life. Not only did we plan a Fall and Spring wedding (again, COVID), Casey always had a positive outlook and optimism. She was so professional and helpful during this crazy, unprecedented time in wedding planning. I could not have imagined going through this last 1.5 years of planing without the help of this amazing team. What I loved most about Casey was her honest opinions and her type A personality - she is so organized, efficient, and responsive, and fun!! I also worked with Catherine the month leading up to my wedding and wedding day and WOW she is a gem! The wedding day went so smooth and she had such a calming presence the entire day. I seriously have no complaints and could go on and on with examples of how amazing this team is! I highly recommend using Events by La Fete for both wedding planning and design! There are not enough words that can describe how amazing Casey and the La Fete team are. These girls make you feel like you're their top priority every question, text, call, meeting etc. Hiring Casey for our full service planner created such ease during the entire planning process, which began two years ago. We had a beautiful plan in place and then COVID hit. It was an uphill battle deciding on what to do, but ultimately, Casey helped keep me on track and I trusted every plan she came up with. When the wedding weekend came, it was calling for rain. At this point, I was completely out of decisions and wanted to enjoy the time I had with friends and family so I told her to make the call for us! The rain held off right as we needed it to and her team, alongside a sea of amazing vendors, quickly moved our indoor ceremony, outside. Seeing her make that call for us made me so happy. She knew that was the goal for us, but with any type of tricky weather it was a hard call to make but she made the right one!!! She truly allowed the wedding day to feel seamless, easy, and fun for all family and friends! She put together a picture perfect design for our intimate wedding and it truly was a dream come true! She worked countless hours with all vendors to help create the most magical day! After a week of being married, everyone is still complimenting how amazing everything went and looked and I can only thank Casey and La Fete for this! Thank you x1000000!

I can't say enough wonderful things about Charlotte and the entire Events by La Fete team. I am a type A, organized person, and I didn't expect to need a wedding planner because I was convinced I'd have everything planned out without a problem. However with COVID-19 and re-planning our wedding 3 times, I thought it might be time to bring in the professionals when our final plan went from being at a venue to in our backyard. The second Le Fete was brought on board, they immediately took charge, brought up questions I hadn't considered, and gave me the gift of being only excited about the big day, rather than stressed about everything going to plan. Charlotte worked with all my vendors to make sure they were aware of where they needed to be and when, and everything went off without a hitch - and if something didn't, Charlotte handled it and I was never aware of it on the big day. On the day of the wedding, Charlotte was always there the second I needed her. I would start to look across the dance floor to find her, and before my eyes could scan for more than a few seconds, she was by my side asking me what she could get me. Every time my husband or I would start to head to the bar, Charlotte had a new drink for us in her hand before we could get off the dance floor. For someone that was on the fence about hiring a planner, I can't imagine doing it without them. It was so incredible for us and our families to not have to worry about any of the logistics and just focus on this exciting step we just took and having the best time on the dance floor!

My husband and I were married at the Merrimon-Wynne House last weekend, and we are so happy we had Catherine as our day-of coordinator. She is so friendly, professional, organized, and kind. She is an expert at wedding planning. She answered all of my questions right away and made communication easy! She helped ease my nerves the day of the wedding and made everything beautiful. We are beyond happy we found Catherine! She is amazing.

Live out of state and contacted La Fete to help plan a rehearsal dinner in the Old Well Room at Carolina Inn for 65 people. From the initial phone conversation to the night of the dinner, Catherine was amazing. She lined up and attended vendor appointments with me when I flew in to make decisions, listened to my vision, and corresponded frequently with status updates. She is attentive to detail, creative and compassionate, and a joy to have partnered with to make the rehearsal dinner a memorable experience for the bride and groom. She is a blessing and true asset to her company and anyone who has the opportunity to work with her for an event. Thanks for a spectacular evening!

I’m not sure there is a better way to explain how great Casey was than my fiancé saying over and over “Casey is the S*!T!” We were moving across the country to San Francisco from NC while wedding planning (which I don’t recommend), but she was there to manage everything back home. She even worked West Coast hours! I would send her tons of texts at dinner time in SF and she’d respond that night when she should have been sleeping. Anything we’d talked about would be knocked out before I’d even woken up the next day. Her responses never took more than a few hours (generally a few minutes)!

Our trolley for transportation broke down the wedding morning, and she quickly managed the process and came up stretch bus that ended up being more fun AND it was handled before I had time to panic. :) She was so organized, creative, and fun.

Our design came together beautifully. I was blown away stepping into a classic ballroom without much character to a glowing candle lit room covered in stunning fabrics and gorgeous flowers.
But aside from all of the things her job “required,” she did more. She truly became a friend, a confidant, a therapist, a mediator, etc. She helped schedule hair appointments, picked which white dress I should wear to what event, etc. She truly went above and beyond and was there for ANYTHING.
We could not have picked a better person to make the planning process and our big day truly perfect! You cannot go wrong hiring her.
Her assistant, Rachel, was also great day of at getting us where we needed to be and when and keeping a bride running slightly behind cool, calm, and collected!
