Couples are invited to sample the delectable menu at EK Cakery’s Belvidere location. Erica offers tried-and-true recipes for you to choose from, such as cookie dough and carrot cake. Adventurous alternatives are also available, like blueberry maple, and even a s’mores-inspired creation. Each flavor of cake is also available as a cupcake, leaving no shortage of variety for parties with differing tastes. Can I give EK Cakery more stars than 5? From the very beginning with our initial meeting and tasting with Erica - we knew she was the person we wanted to work with! Our cake decoration needs weren't extreme - our wedding theme was simple and elegant - but the flavors! OMG! It was so hard to choose so we chose four! Top knotch in everything! So easy to work with and definitely the best cake I've ever had. Everyone at the wedding (including the woman who crashed the wedding) raved about it. After completing the contract everything was so easy. They literally take care of everything. I was still in the bridal suite when they set up and they just jumped right in and took care of it. We love to have our couples engage through a wedding cake tasting. We charge $30 for our cake tastings. This includes four mini cakes for up to 4 people (no children between the age of 1-10 years old please), your choice of 4 cake flavors and an hour long consultation.
