Tommie did a phenomenal job on my wedding. She kept me on track even when we had some family issues that may have changed the whole event and kept me from making decisions in a timely manner. She was calming and understanding during crazy times and she was just a pleasure to work with all around. She has a ton of experience and knows all the best vendors locally, I definitely would say to take her recommendations and trust she knows what she's doing and who to do it with.

Tommie and Janice were absolutely wonderful in guiding my mother and husband and I with our rehearsal and wedding plans. I would use them again for another event if needed. They both have a balance of take charge and relaxed personalities that really helped to keep me at ease through out the whole process. I did not have a doubt in my mind the entire time that things would not get done. They worked with anything I requested and were able to develop ideas that I did not have an opinion about. And Tommie makes the best cakes, cupcakes and cookies!!!

Epic events was wonderful in all possible ways.. She went way above and beyond our expectations and I would totally use their services again!

How much do my husband, our families and our bridal party love Tommie @ Epic Events by JT?! THIS MUCH!

My husband and I are master planners, so when we were planning our wedding we didn't think we needed a wedding planner. Tommie was referred by a friend to help with Day of Wedding Planning. We only wanted someone in place to make sure we had a timeline for the day and that our mom's weren't sweating through their hair and make up setting up tables, decorating arbors and being generally frazzled on our wedding day.
What we got was SO much more! Tommie was always available to answer questions, to give us referrals. There are a lot of little things that she thought of that we never would've considered (like music during cocktail hour, what kind of candles can you use, insurance liability, etcl). She was the liaison between all of our vendors to ensure that they were well hydrated, fed and paid. She made sure my husband and I had a plate to eat and time to sit, breathe, collect ourselves whenever we needed!
So not only did she decorate our venue, make sure all the drop offs of the rentals - chairs/tents/linens, and that everything was running on time but she really became a friend.
Oh and did I mention, she bakes? We had the most perfect naked cake - just like I wanted!
Your day goes by SO fast and it's important that you enjoy it. Tommie and her assistant really made sure the time we had was well spent and that our families felt relieved of some of the burdens that they carry to make their kids happy. :)

I would like to tell you that it was a pleasant and gratifying experience working with you in planning our fiftieth wedding anniversary party. Your access to invitations, table linens, china, silverware, crystal, the caterer, florist, and your preparations proved to make our party a huge success.

From the first meeting, you listened to my ideas and thoughts, following through immediately in carrying out the theme of the party, as requested. It was as though you were reading my mind. Your special touches were more then one could have expected, making a beautiful and elegant dining experience. The room was elegant, showing our local residents how beautiful and elegant the clubhouse meeting room could be. The food was delicious, including your appetizers and desserts. Our guests were served in such a quiet and professional manner, we hardly knew you were there. There were so many positive remarks from guests about the whole affair, including the elegance of the room, the atmosphere, the delicious food, and excellent service due to your hard work and expertise.
