I'm so happy we chose Emilie to be our wedding photographer. We picked a very fairly priced package that included an engagement shoot, a bridal shoot, and 9 hours of wedding day coverage with her second shooter/husband Brandon. Emilie traveled to Dallas from Austin for our engagement shoot, which was really fun and lighthearted - a great way to get to know her and put us at ease being photographed. Emilie was thoroughly warm and professional throughout our experience with her. She even connected with me to take certain wedding day detail shots before the big day, so as to have more time to photograph the action of the wedding day. Emilie expertly wrangled my big family for formal portraits, and Brandon seamlessly blended in with the groomsmen to get some great candid getting-ready shots. My husband and I were just so pleased with the quality of the photos and the overall experience. We'll definitely cherish these photos forever, and I'm sure we'll call on Emilie to take more photos for us in the future!

Emilie is incredible!! Seriously, she was born to be a photographer. Her work is AMAZING!!! I find myself wanting to find more excuses for her to take our photos because she is that good. I used Emilie for my bridals and a boudoir shoot in advance of my wedding. She was so easy to work with and made me feel comfortable and confident in both shoots. Her and her husband Brandon shot our wedding and they were both awesome. They both are so easy to get along with during shooting, so professional, so knowledgeable about the best angles and shots to get with the weather, shadows, etc. I could go on and on about how great they are and how amazing her work is. Hands down best in Austin!

One of the best decisions I made during my wedding planning was booking Emilie! She is super talented and goes out of her way to ensure that she gets the best shots that she can. Photography was one of the first things on our wedding to do list because it was so important to me to find the right photographer to capture our day in a beautiful, special way that we could look back on to remember our wedding day. Aside from the memories, photos are usually all you have to relive a special time in your life. Fortunately, we were recommended Emilie by another photographer of a friend who had recently been married in the Austin/San Antonio area. After looking at Emilie's website and our first chat on the phone, I knew her style was exactly what we wanted for our day. In addition, she is such a sweet person and makes you and your significant another feel very comfortable while shooting. Our engagement pictures turned out wonderful, but our wedding photos literally took my breath away. They are stunning and we have received endless compliments from family, friends, and even strangers! Emilie is professional and experienced in her work; during the wedding she had us on time or early with pictures, leaving my husband and I stress free and able to enjoy those moments together. Her husband accompanied her to the wedding as the second shooter and he was funny and personable; they make a wonderful team! Worth every single penny! We can't thank Emilie (and Brandon) enough for being a part of our special day and would recommend them to any bride who wants truly beautiful photos that they can cherish forever!

Having Emilie as our wedding photographer was one of the best decisions we made! She was so accommodating and helpful throughout the whole process. Emilie takes amazing photographs which is of course what initially made us choose her, but after our pre-wedding photo sessions I was even happier with our decision. Emilie and her husband were great, very nice and took some fantastic shots. Response time is pretty slow, not sure if they are super busy and business is booming or they are forgetful. We got a pretty good price for everything though, so can't complain much.

Emilie gave us some really nice shots of our wedding, however, too many of table décor and other things. We would have preferred more of us. There were no pictures of my husband before the ceremony, getting ready, etc. I understand that they were running around like crazy people getting ready, but most photographers I've worked with are very adamant about getting shots. Emilie and Brandon could have rallied the troops better and been more vocal. There were very limited ones of family pictures, and all of them my eyes are closed. It seems that they would've seen this in the camera and asked us to take more. I don't have a good picture of me with my dad :( or siblings :( I had hung up my wedding dress on the canopy bed for a nice picture of my dress hanging before putting it on and she didn't take what I feel could be one of the most important shots of the evening. When I communicated this irritation/sadness thru email to the photographer, I have yet to receive any word or an I'm sorry I overlooked this. It just seems that they would've wanted to make it right.

We decided on Emilie based on her great prices and flexibility. She drove to Houston for our engagement session and allowed me to switch out the bridal session into more hours at the wedding. When we did not need the extra hours on the wedding day, she again let us switch those out for an anniversary session.
She was able to capture beautiful pictures during formals on the wedding day and during our engagement shoot. She is able to compose shots well when she is able to decide on lighting, location, and stance. However, Emilie has some trouble capturing scenes when she cannot control all the elements. The outdoor ceremony shots appear very bright and overexposed. While the sun was really bright that day, the overexposure cannot be overseen. In the indoor reception setting, many pictures were blurry and shots from the dance floor had the white light from the remote flash in the back. We would expect either clear pictures with a remote flash setup or perhaps a handful of blurry pictures because no remote flash was set up, not both.
As far as content, we would have liked pictures of some of our guests prior to or during the reception. We only received the table photos as we personally went table to table that night. There were not enough close ups of my husband and I. It is disappointing not having photos that captured any facial expressions showing the raw emotions of that day.
As far as communication and response, we ran into issue during the entire process. She would either ignore or not receive emails and seemed to constantly have issues with her computer or email in general.
While she did take some great pictures, there were more that we didn’t like than we did like. Most photographers will use all digital, but Emilie does use some film. This may have caused her to just take less pictures overall, which may be why we didn’t have all the different types of shots we were expecting. In retrospect, even though her prices
