The charming 18th C. Dutch Colocial Farmhouse is set upon 5 acres and is nestled in the beautiful countryside of the Hudson Valley. Situated in the historic town of Stone Ridge, less than two hours from New York City, amidst the beautiful Shawangunk Ridge and the panoramic Catskill Mountains, ElmRock Inn is the perfect setting for a stylish Hudson Valley, NY farm style wedding!

The beautiful iron Gazebo is the ideal setting for a romantic ceremony. Enjoy cocktails on the patio and mingle with your guests amidst the locust grove under the enchanting canopy of vintage cafe lighting. The massive second story deck is the perfect gathering place for a welcome reception or for lounging and taking in the panoramic view of the 5 acre property.

The Farmhouse can seat smaller receptions for up to 50 guests and floating cocktail receptions for up to 75 guests. For larger elegant weddings, the Great Lawn can be tented for dinner receptions of up to 150 guests.

A large-scale bonfire for roasting marshmallows is the perfect send off to culminate your celebration!

Magical venue

ElmRock Inn was a beautiful venue and wonderful backdrop for a magical and intimate wedding. If you love being surrounded by nature and appreciate historic venues, this is definitely one to see. The staff was kind, accommodating, and supportive. The food was really lovely and delicious. The cocktail was also special and unique. I appreciated the ingredients from local farms too. Overall such a special and memorable day and weekend!

An intimate forest wedding

For our summer wedding, we envisioned an intimate, forested event in the Hudson Valley. The ElmRock Inn was a perfect fit. The afternoon ceremony itself in the cedar arbor was absolutely beautiful as the sun streamed through the forest behind us. Our guests raved about Chef Mark’s food, which was truly delicious, creative, and used several farm-to-table ingredients. Our event planners were exceptionally attentive, supportive, kind, and organized. It was a joy that all of our 12 guests could stay at the inn, which made the 3-day event warm and intimate with family constantly around us. We couldn’t have asked for a more picturesque wedding. Thank you.

The perfect venue for our wedding!

We loved Elm Rock! We had an intimate wedding ceremony there in June with just 20 guests. Kimberly and her team were accommodating, clear to communicate with, and made the day so easy. The catering was incredible - we had a cocktail reception with passed appetizers. From that experience, I have no doubt that having a full weekend event there would be a total dream as well - the space is so special and the catering is incredibly delicious. We can't wait to return to the Inn in the future to stay at the B&B.
