Nestled in the heart of the Hudson Valley, our venue boasts stunning apple orchards and lush landscapes that will provide the ideal backdrop for your special day. Facilities and Capacity

Upon arriving at Kismet House, you will be welcomed by a private driveway leading to our communal fireplace, where you can see all our accommodations. Our main house is designed to provide a home-like environment for our wedding parties and accommodate up to 14 people. Whether you stay overnight or use our "get ready rooms" on the wedding day, our space offers a comfortable and relaxing atmosphere before the festivities begin, with more than enough space for both wedding parties to prepare. With our two additional houses, perfect for hosting friends and family and steps away from the main house, we can accommodate up to 24 people overnight.

At Kismet House, we have multiple locations to accommodate 250 guests for weddings, whether you need one location for both ceremony and reception or separate areas for each.

A leisurely 10-minute walk through the woods on our trail from the main house leads you to our secluded private pond, a serene expanse, seemingly a world away from everything else. Our guests have often chosen the pond for their ceremonies; with plenty of space for seating, the stunning sunset reflecting on the water creates beautiful memories and photo opportunities that will last a lifetime.

Our property boasts a Big Red Barn that serves as the centerpiece of our venue. The barn has a detached Small Red Bar to ensure guests have dedicated access to refreshments throughout your reception. We have recently restored the barn to provide the perfect setting for your ceremony and the following celebrations. Just a short walk away, you'll find our lawn, an ideal location for any tented event, given its proximity to the Small Red Bar and our communal fireplace. This area provides the perfect spot for those end-of-the-night moments of conversation and shared experiences. At Kismet House, we offer indoor, outdoor, tented, and everything-in-between wedding settings to help you realize your dream wedding.

Services Offered

Events can be hosted over the weekend at Kismet House, including ceremonies and receptions. We offer everything from welcome drinks to farewell brunches, and our on-site parking lot can accommodate up to 75 cars. Our dedicated day-of event coordinator will provide a seamless experience during your stay. We also have a list of preferred caterers and partners to share with you. However, we're happy to accommodate you if you prefer to bring in your own vendors. You can also bring your own alcohol, and we can book additional on-site staff and rentals through our vendors to make things easier for you.
