Not only do Desiree's photos look AMAZING but they also really did an amazing job of just making us feel taken care of throughout the day. Desiree is the best. Her photographs are gorgeous, she makes even the most camera shy feel comfortable, she is a joy to be around, and was very easy to work with. We did an engagement session with her in New York City in 2019 (she was visiting for a friend's wedding and we lived there) and our Covid micro-wedding in 2020. She was extremely flexible during our Covid rescheduling and made the whole process a dream (we were supposed to get married in April and rescheduled for August). She was strict in her Covid precautions so everyone felt safe being photographed and was able to get great family shots even with social distancing. We had limited time for photographs on our wedding day and she got through the list while being lovely to work with — and made us look great even though we were sweating like crazy in 105 degree weather. She even added an extra hour day-of so we could take some night shots. The pictures turned out beautiful — lively, joyful, not posed (which is what we wanted), and everyone commented on how gorgeous the photography was. Leading up to the wedding she did a great job in breaking down all aspects of her services and was always accessible for us if we had questions. On wedding day she was kind to all of our guests and wedding party, funny and upbeat, and made sure to get the pictures needed while also “keeping the show on the road.” All of those aspects were extremely important to my wife and I when it came to our special day. Desiree at Elkk Photography was such a pleasure to work with. We left our wedding not only feeling like we had a great photographer but a great friend too.
