May and her team were absolutely outstanding through and through. We had an incredible experience working with them and when it was over, were a little sad because they made the entire experience for us such a joy. Weddings can be stressful for obvious reasons, but Mayrelis, Carolina and the team at Elite Planning created an environment that was conducive to all of our needs. Mayrelis Febles and the entire team at Elite Planning Firm are absolutely INCREDIBLE. If you are considering getting married in the Miami area (or honestly, anywhere) RUN do not walk to hire her.

I first heard of May in Sept of 2019 when my now husband and I went on a site tour of Vizcaya Museum and Gardens. We were given her name by the events coordinator as someone who is great to work with overall. Shortly thereafter, I had my first call with May and within minutes of chatting with her, I knew she was the person for me. May is warm, friendly, easy to talk to, and above all else, she is a true partner in this process.

Our initial wedding date was set for April 10, 2021 and leading up to it May was amazing, she was incredibly attentive, checking in bi-weekly and she was always open to feedback and willing to lend her expertise. Then came January 4th, 2021, 90-days out from our original wedding date, we learned that Vizcaya had changed their policy and the dream wedding we had been planning was no longer possible. So unfortunately, like so many other couples, we had to push it a year. May flew into action, got every vendor to commit to our new date of April 30th, 2022 and had every contract renegotiated within days of learning this news. She was a true godsend during a time of incredible stress for me, my husband, and our families.

Fast forward to the week of our wedding and I think everyone who attended the event can agree that May is the GOAT. She handled everything FLAWLESSLY, from navigating weather changes for our welcome drinks, to orchestrating the most beautiful rehearsal dinner, to ensuring the day of timeline was on point (we were actually ahead of schedule for most of the day!).

May created a wedding weekend that was better than I ever could imagine! She knew the assignment and showed up in an amazing way! THANK YOU MAY!

We worked with May for over 2 years and I enjoyed every moment of it. May is such a joy to work with as evidenced by the amazing relationships she has with every vendor known to man.

My husband and I absolutely love Mayrelis and couldn't have imaged having anyone else hold our hand through the long and stressful wedding planning process. May always had our back through everything, with incredible attention to detail and creative, fun ideas that really made our wedding special. She listened to us through it all and we really felt heard. After one month of dealing with a planner that was a nightmare to work with I had my last straw when she stood me up for the third time. I decided to go out on a limb and start over with a different wedding planner (mind you my wedding was four months away at that point). I called Mayrelis in desperate need of REAL professional help and that’s exactly what I got. I was afraid of starting over with a different planner since my wedding was only four months away but Mayrelis took over everything with so much grace and put my mind at ease. Even some of my vendors who had been in the industry for years commented on how amazing and thorough she was. She really cares about her clients and it shows. Her extremely high organization skills, great energy, and thoroughness brought it all together. Everything turned out so beautifully, I had all the bells and whistles I wanted (draping, custom floor, lighting, cold sparks, confetti, performers, saxophonist, photo booth, I mean the list goes on) No one would ever have guessed it was all planned in such a short period of time! My husband and I had the best time of our lives and so did our 200+ guests. I’m so happy I found Mayrelis, she is a real gem.

Where to start!? Working with May and her team at Elite Planning was the absolute best decision my husband and I made! May and her team were such a delight to work with, and made the wedding of our dreams come true! I never had to worry about the organizational details on the day of the wedding, and we were able to freely enjoy ourselves with no stress! The pandemic hit about a month before our original wedding date, and we were so lucky to have May on our team. Her existing relationships with our vendors and her immense knowledge and experience made the rescheduling process so easy- she really went above and beyond and made planning a wedding during a pandemic seem like a breeze! I cannot say enough about May and the Elite Planning firm team. I was lucky enough to begin working with May from Elite Planning firm back in November of 2019. She immediately struck me as someone who was knowledgeable of her craft, down to earth and best of all relatable! We hit it off right away and got straight to masterminding our dream wedding which would end up taking place in Riviera Maya, Mexico. When COVID changed the course of our lives in March of 2020 soon after we made the wise choice of postponing our wedding to a further date. Throughout the entire process as vendors and venues around the world rushed around to figure out this new "normal" May was right there throughout the entire process to guide me and suggest me in the right direction. Without her and her unending patience, wittiness and expertise none of this would've ever been possible. After a year and a half of planning my husband and I finally tied the knot on May 29, 2021! We are so beyond grateful for her and her entire team for making our wedding such a memorable day which will live in our hearts and memories for time to come!

Planning a wedding is very stressful and there are a million things to keep track of it also can be very overwhelming given that many brides don't have event planning experience and we all want everything to be perfect. May was great at introducing us to the perfect vendors, providing recommendations, keeping us on schedule, staying on top of details, she was very organized and on the day of the wedding she masterfully orchestrated about 50 different vendors and our wedding went off without a hitch. I was very nervous given a lot of the complexities to our wedding and literally nothing went wrong (except that the evening went by too fast!). There are going to be times were you may doubt your planner - not going to lie I did at times - but May knows what she is doing. She is very skilled at throwing gatherings of all sizes and when I look back at it all, she really did a killer job. I'm not an easy client and my mom was more of a bridezilla than me and she was able to please us both with the wedding of our lifetime! Thank you May for everything you did for us!

What can we say about Mayrelis at Elite Planning Firm? Well, there are not enough words in the dictionary to describe her. She is just amazing, the best wedding planner we know and the one that will take your event to the next level. Her professionalism, unsurpassed attention to detail, organizational as well as leadership skills is remarkable. Our hiring her services May 8th, 2018 was the best decision my husband and I as well as my daughter and her fiancé ever made throughout the wedding planning process. We definitely could not have made it without her!!!!!
As parents, we always imagined the moment when our little girl would get married and we were determined to give her the most spectacular wedding event ever. We started by going to different event venues to choose the one right for our daughter's vision and it was at the magnificent Biltmore Hotel that we decided to do her wedding. Vanessa, the sales manager at the hotel, recommended a few wedding planners and after reading up on a couple, we decided on Mayrelis almost immediately.
Then we needed to confirm our choice by setting up a meeting with her and feel the vibe that she inspired to us. Oh, boy, thinking about that day when we met her at Graziano's, May did not disappoint at all after all the hard work and dedication we saw in the upcoming year. We asked her a couple of questions regarding her experiences as a wedding planner and she asked us about the most important things we expected from the event as a whole. We immediately clicked; we had found our wedding planner!!!! She wowed us with her outgoing personality and charm. We would let her know our vision and details that we wanted to include from the beginning and then she would start to work her magic right away...
Whether you have a fancy affair or a simple wedding to plan, Mayrelis is the perfect planner for you. We have not seen a planner embody perfectionism like her; maybe that's why we made such a great bond, because I have type A personality like she does.
She started to show us what she could do when she surprised us by setting up a meeting with the sought-after photographer that we had told her we wanted at the wedding. She had already reserved the date of the wedding tentatively, pending our face-to-face with him. The rest of the meetings were just like that.
After discussing all possible preferred vendors from the list The Biltmore gave us, we decided who would do our flowers and decorations, DJ, lighting and entertainment, wedding/bridesmaid gowns, cake, transportation, etc.
She gave us her recommendations as far as all the main vendors and we could not be happier and more satisfied with how everything turned out. May really helped us coordinate with vendors all the main details and even the tiniest ones that would make of the wedding an affair to remember. We had a pretty good idea how much coordination a wedding like this would entail since we planned our daughter's 15th birthday twelve years ago. But we did not have the time and dedication like we did back then to plan this event and we wanted it to go out smoothly.
It is incredible how much May is really respected among all vendors and professionals in the wedding business. Her timeline to set up meetings and discuss important details was impeccable. She knew the overall theme and effect that what we wanted to portray at our event and worked tirelessly to achieve it, making sure no detail was overlooked, no matter how small or insignificant it could seem.
She recommended us the wedding invitation place that actually turned out to be the focal starting point of our lavish affair and the one to set up the mood for the entire event, followed by flowers, lighting and entertainment, making important suggestions along the way.
She even set up a meeting with the wedding gown boutique where we were treated like royalty and family and our daughter chose her two beautiful dream gowns. We are so glad we came to this boutique that she recommended!!!!
The entire event came together flawlessly after a year of hard work and perseverance. We realized we had made the right decision of choosing Mayrelis and her team after she welcomed us to the ballroom to see it for the first time the day of the wedding. We opened our eyes to a fairy-tale, enchanted and glamorous space like the one we could only imagine for so many years, but finally, with May's help we could see it become a reality so well deserved for our daughter and her wonderful fiancé, Alexander Bartolome.
We also would like to thank all the ladies who assisted May at Elite Planning Firm throughout the entire process for making our day a most memorable one. They were instrumental at making sure the day ran out as smoothly as possible and without any major unforeseen problems. We could not have made it until the end with their help. Mayrelis and her team at Elite Planning were spot on the day of the wedding, coordinating with all vendors the final touches and details of such an important day for us and our daughter, especially TK, who personally helped Jorge and I, the bride and the bridesmaids in getting ready, pictures and everything else... making sure we were on schedule throughout the entire day. If something did not appear to be perfect or exceed our expectations, May would talk with the vendors to change it and make it to our liking. Everything, from the flowers to lighting, to the music that we played, to the names on the royal tables to the natural cascade of flowers on the cake and much more was carefully coordinated by May with our input and vision, but it was her sophisticated and exceptional taste and ideas that made this wedding a success.
If you are looking for the best wedding planner, look no further, you will have no regrets towards choosing Mayrelis and her firm for your affair, doesn't matter the size or the budget of your wedding. She will take care of your event with the same grace and charisma that she took care of ours and she will respect your choices but help you make better ones, because the experience that she has in this business is something you cannot acquire overnight and it just shows at the end of the day.
