Phenomenal experience

May and her team were absolutely outstanding through and through. We had an incredible experience working with them and when it was over, were a little sad because they made the entire experience for us such a joy. Weddings can be stressful for obvious reasons, but Mayrelis, Carolina and the team at Elite Planning created an environment that was conducive to all of our needs. We never felt rushed and always felt heard. I would absolutely recommend them to anyone. They are top of the line and as good as it gets when it comes to wedding planning. Total professionals who make the entire experience a pleasurable, enjoyable once in a lifetime tapestry of moments!

Worth every penny!

May and her team were amazing to work with and I highly recommend them! May makes the daunting task of planning a wedding so easy, manageable and actually fun! May is amazing!

Mayrelis Febles and the entire team at Elite Planning Firm are absolutely INCREDIBLE. If you are considering getting married in the Miami area (or honestly, anywhere) RUN do not walk to hire her.

I first heard of May in Sept of 2019 when my now husband and I went on a site tour of Vizcaya Museum and Gardens. We were given her name by the events coordinator as someone who is great to work with overall. Shortly thereafter, I had my first call with May and within minutes of chatting with her, I knew she was the person for me. May is warm, friendly, easy to talk to, and above all else, she is a true partner in this process.

Our initial wedding date was set for April 10, 2021 and leading up to it May was amazing, she was incredibly attentive, checking in bi-weekly and she was always open to feedback and willing to lend her expertise. Then came January 4th, 2021, 90-days out from our original wedding date, we learned that Vizcaya had changed their policy and the dream wedding we had been planning was no longer possible. So unfortunately, like so many other couples, we had to push it a year. May flew into action, got every vendor to commit to our new date of April 30th, 2022 and had every contract renegotiated within days of learning this news. She was a true godsend during a time of incredible stress for me, my husband, and our families.

Fast forward to the week of our wedding and I think everyone who attended the event can agree that May is the GOAT. She handled everything FLAWLESSLY, from navigating weather changes for our welcome drinks, to orchestrating the most beautiful rehearsal dinner, to ensuring the day of timeline was on point (we were actually ahead of schedule for most of the day!).

May created a wedding weekend that was better than I ever could imagine! She knew the assignment and showed up in an amazing way! THANK YOU MAY!

We worked with May for over 2 years and I enjoyed every moment of it. May is such a joy to work with as evidenced by the amazing relationships she has with every vendor known to man.

If you are reading this review, this is a sign to hire May. You will not be sorry! You are not getting just a wedding planner, you are getting a wonderful, caring, thoughtful person, who is AMAZING at her job. My personal advice here is to hire May and let her do her thing – you will not be disappointed!

The absolute best

My husband and I absolutely love Mayrelis and couldn't have imaged having anyone else hold our hand through the long and stressful wedding planning process. May always had our back through everything, with incredible attention to detail and creative, fun ideas that really made our wedding special. She listened to us through it all and we really felt heard. On the day of the wedding, she kept everything running smoothly and reduced our stress - even when we had to make the tough decision to make last-minute changes due to weather. Also special shout out to Carolina, May's assistant, who is wonderful, and to Olivia who was with me all day on the wedding day and attended to my every need with warm professionalism.

Best money spent

I don't think I can ever do any other event from now on without May's help. Everyone at the wedding complimented me on how fun and beautiful the wedding was. May really built her business from the ground up. She knows so many talented and responsible vendors. She did a great job finding alternatives and suggesting new ideas.
My wedding planning was so smooth thanks to May and her team. I wouldn't change a thing.

Spectacular

After one month of dealing with a planner that was a nightmare to work with I had my last straw when she stood me up for the third time. I decided to go out on a limb and start over with a different wedding planner (mind you my wedding was four months away at that point). I called Mayrelis in desperate need of REAL professional help and that’s exactly what I got. I was afraid of starting over with a different planner since my wedding was only four months away but Mayrelis took over everything with so much grace and put my mind at ease. Even some of my vendors who had been in the industry for years commented on how amazing and thorough she was. She really cares about her clients and it shows. Her extremely high organization skills, great energy, and thoroughness brought it all together. Everything turned out so beautifully, I had all the bells and whistles I wanted (draping, custom floor, lighting, cold sparks, confetti, performers, saxophonist, photo booth, I mean the list goes on) No one would ever have guessed it was all planned in such a short period of time! My husband and I had the best time of our lives and so did our 200+ guests. I’m so happy I found Mayrelis, she is a real gem.

Best wedding planner and team ever!

Where to start!? Working with May and her team at Elite Planning was the absolute best decision my husband and I made! May and her team were such a delight to work with, and made the wedding of our dreams come true! I never had to worry about the organizational details on the day of the wedding, and we were able to freely enjoy ourselves with no stress! The pandemic hit about a month before our original wedding date, and we were so lucky to have May on our team. Her existing relationships with our vendors and her immense knowledge and experience made the rescheduling process so easy- she really went above and beyond and made planning a wedding during a pandemic seem like a breeze! She was always easily accessible for any questions I had, and I feel so blessed to have found May and her team! Could not speak more highly of Elite Planning Firm!!

Elite Planning firm is the "dream team" of wedding and event coordination!!

I cannot say enough about May and the Elite Planning firm team. I was lucky enough to begin working with May from Elite Planning firm back in November of 2019. She immediately struck me as someone who was knowledgeable of her craft, down to earth and best of all relatable! We hit it off right away and got straight to masterminding our dream wedding which would end up taking place in Riviera Maya, Mexico. When COVID changed the course of our lives in March of 2020 soon after we made the wise choice of postponing our wedding to a further date. Throughout the entire process as vendors and venues around the world rushed around to figure out this new "normal" May was right there throughout the entire process to guide me and suggest me in the right direction. Without her and her unending patience, wittiness and expertise none of this would've ever been possible. After a year and a half of planning my husband and I finally tied the knot on May 29, 2021! We are so beyond grateful for her and her entire team for making our wedding such a memorable day which will live in our hearts and memories for time to come!

Attention to All Details

Planning a wedding is very stressful and there are a million things to keep track of it also can be very overwhelming given that many brides don't have event planning experience and we all want everything to be perfect. May was great at introducing us to the perfect vendors, providing recommendations, keeping us on schedule, staying on top of details, she was very organized and on the day of the wedding she masterfully orchestrated about 50 different vendors and our wedding went off without a hitch. I was very nervous given a lot of the complexities to our wedding and literally nothing went wrong (except that the evening went by too fast!). There are going to be times were you may doubt your planner - not going to lie I did at times - but May knows what she is doing. She is very skilled at throwing gatherings of all sizes and when I look back at it all, she really did a killer job. I'm not an easy client and my mom was more of a bridezilla than me and she was able to please us both with the wedding of our lifetime! Thank you May for everything you did for us!

Amazing, professional, perfectionist and truly a friend for life!!!!!

What can we say about Mayrelis at Elite Planning Firm? Well, there are not enough words in the dictionary to describe her. She is just amazing, the best wedding planner we know and the one that will take your event to the next level. Her professionalism, unsurpassed attention to detail, organizational as well as leadership skills is remarkable. Our hiring her services May 8th, 2018 was the best decision my husband and I as well as my daughter and her fiancé ever made throughout the wedding planning process. We definitely could not have made it without her!!!!!
As parents, we always imagined the moment when our little girl would get married and we were determined to give her the most spectacular wedding event ever. We started by going to different event venues to choose the one right for our daughter's vision and it was at the magnificent Biltmore Hotel that we decided to do her wedding. Vanessa, the sales manager at the hotel, recommended a few wedding planners and after reading up on a couple, we decided on Mayrelis almost immediately.
Then we needed to confirm our choice by setting up a meeting with her and feel the vibe that she inspired to us. Oh, boy, thinking about that day when we met her at Graziano's, May did not disappoint at all after all the hard work and dedication we saw in the upcoming year. We asked her a couple of questions regarding her experiences as a wedding planner and she asked us about the most important things we expected from the event as a whole. We immediately clicked; we had found our wedding planner!!!! She wowed us with her outgoing personality and charm. We would let her know our vision and details that we wanted to include from the beginning and then she would start to work her magic right away...
Whether you have a fancy affair or a simple wedding to plan, Mayrelis is the perfect planner for you. We have not seen a planner embody perfectionism like her; maybe that's why we made such a great bond, because I have type A personality like she does.
She started to show us what she could do when she surprised us by setting up a meeting with the sought-after photographer that we had told her we wanted at the wedding. She had already reserved the date of the wedding tentatively, pending our face-to-face with him. The rest of the meetings were just like that.
After discussing all possible preferred vendors from the list The Biltmore gave us, we decided who would do our flowers and decorations, DJ, lighting and entertainment, wedding/bridesmaid gowns, cake, transportation, etc.
She gave us her recommendations as far as all the main vendors and we could not be happier and more satisfied with how everything turned out. May really helped us coordinate with vendors all the main details and even the tiniest ones that would make of the wedding an affair to remember. We had a pretty good idea how much coordination a wedding like this would entail since we planned our daughter's 15th birthday twelve years ago. But we did not have the time and dedication like we did back then to plan this event and we wanted it to go out smoothly.
It is incredible how much May is really respected among all vendors and professionals in the wedding business. Her timeline to set up meetings and discuss important details was impeccable. She knew the overall theme and effect that what we wanted to portray at our event and worked tirelessly to achieve it, making sure no detail was overlooked, no matter how small or insignificant it could seem.
She recommended us the wedding invitation place that actually turned out to be the focal starting point of our lavish affair and the one to set up the mood for the entire event, followed by flowers, lighting and entertainment, making important suggestions along the way.
She even set up a meeting with the wedding gown boutique where we were treated like royalty and family and our daughter chose her two beautiful dream gowns. We are so glad we came to this boutique that she recommended!!!!
The entire event came together flawlessly after a year of hard work and perseverance. We realized we had made the right decision of choosing Mayrelis and her team after she welcomed us to the ballroom to see it for the first time the day of the wedding. We opened our eyes to a fairy-tale, enchanted and glamorous space like the one we could only imagine for so many years, but finally, with May's help we could see it become a reality so well deserved for our daughter and her wonderful fiancé, Alexander Bartolome.
We also would like to thank all the ladies who assisted May at Elite Planning Firm throughout the entire process for making our day a most memorable one. They were instrumental at making sure the day ran out as smoothly as possible and without any major unforeseen problems. We could not have made it until the end with their help. Mayrelis and her team at Elite Planning were spot on the day of the wedding, coordinating with all vendors the final touches and details of such an important day for us and our daughter, especially TK, who personally helped Jorge and I, the bride and the bridesmaids in getting ready, pictures and everything else... making sure we were on schedule throughout the entire day. If something did not appear to be perfect or exceed our expectations, May would talk with the vendors to change it and make it to our liking. Everything, from the flowers to lighting, to the music that we played, to the names on the royal tables to the natural cascade of flowers on the cake and much more was carefully coordinated by May with our input and vision, but it was her sophisticated and exceptional taste and ideas that made this wedding a success.
If you are looking for the best wedding planner, look no further, you will have no regrets towards choosing Mayrelis and her firm for your affair, doesn't matter the size or the budget of your wedding. She will take care of your event with the same grace and charisma that she took care of ours and she will respect your choices but help you make better ones, because the experience that she has in this business is something you cannot acquire overnight and it just shows at the end of the day. We thought we hired a planner but ended up with a friend to cherish for life.

The best wedding decision we made was to hire May of Elite Planning. I know for sure that had we not hired May my wedding weekend would not have turn out as good as it did. Both May and her team were responsive throughout the planning process. Hiring a planner is the most important decision you will make for your wedding. Do not skimp on this nor underestimate the value of this decision. There are so many details that would not have even been thought of if May was not involved. You will have all sorts of options when it comes to a planner. Do not make the decision based off of price or think that you can do this on your own or with the help of a friend and/or mother. A wedding is an event that needs to be handled by a professional person. I am so pleased with how May assisted me and helped me avoid pitfalls or make wrong decisions. We were two months out for our daughter’s wedding, when my husband had an accident. My daughter decided to postpone the wedding and Mayrelis immediately began contacting the hotel and vendors to find a date that all of them could agree on. Her and her team took care of everything! She had excellent recommendations based on our vision, she negotiated all contracts and always kept us focused during meetings. Most importantly she kept us on budget. Our daughters wedding was perfect in every way. May and her team had everything running seemlessly taking care of any issues that may have arisen. We highly recommend Elite Planning Firm. Mayrelis was seriously our savior. When we got engaged, I spent a few months trying to figure things out on my own, convinced I could do this without a planner... boy was I wrong! The moment I met May we clicked right away. She immediately started giving me ideas that fit my vision and budget. My situation was a bit complicated because I didn't live in Miami and we had a week to meet with vendors and figure things out before I went back home to New York. May set up tons of meetings and when I went back home, I felt like my wedding was in the right hands. Planning a wedding long distance is not easy but May took away all of my worry. She sent me everything I needed, we had phone calls, we texted and she handled all of the little details I would never have thought of. She has such a great relationship with all of the best vendors in Miami. Based on all of my needs, she was able to set me up with the vendors that fit my vision perfectly. May has amazing taste and she was able to understand exactly what I wanted. I am an extremely indecisive person and she knew exactly how to help me make the best decision possible... she was extremely patient with me! It was not easy to show up at my wedding days after arriving in Miami and not really knowing how it would all play out. Well let me tell you, it came out better than I could have ever imagined! May and her team executed the most spectacular wedding of my dreams. She is impeccably organized and kept my Jewish wedding running perfectly on schedule which is a HUGE deal and very impressive!! As for my Jewish wedding- I had an orthodox and Kosher wedding which May executed flawlessly. She took special care to make sure all of the traditions and laws were followed and respected. May even helped make our honeymoon special by helping us find the most perfect resort in Mexico for us. Mayrelis truly cares about her clients happiness and I couldn't have asked for a better planner to make our dream a reality. Thank you so much May!!

“O.m.g. What would we have done without May and her team?,” was what we kept repeating throughout the entire wedding process. We went for the full planning services and were so thrilled we did- worth every penny. May helped us every step of the way and was our eyes and ears on the ground while we were away in NYC and Spain. One of the most valuable things Elite Planning brings to the table is a stellar relationship with vendors - they can help negotiate better deals for you and you can save tons! Additionally, May is so incredibly professional but also so fun and real - a true pleasure to work with! The Elite Planning team really took the time to completely understand our vision for our New Year’s Eve wedding and make it a reality. We wanted our wedding to be different and they made sure that we weren’t compromising for the status quo. May took the time to understand who we were as a couple and reflect that in our wedding. Seeing the whole team day-of (on a holiday) working so hard to ensure there was not a single error or issue was so impressive- these girls are some real bosses and they mean business! I had the absolute pleasure of working with Mayrelis at Elite Planning Firm for nearly 15 months prior to my wedding day. I hired her to be there every step of the way, as I was an out of state bride. When I met her for the first time I felt like we were instant friends! Mayrelis is very sweet, accommodating, and genuine. She is exactly the kind of person I wanted to work closely with leading up to the dreamiest day ever. The months leading up to the wedding were a breeze, whenever I would feel like I was behind schedule, Mayrelis was 8 steps ahead of me at all times. She is a true talent! I would also love to point out that Mayrelis is incredibly stylish, so she is also the perfect person to help debate options and bounce ideas off of. As for the wedding day, it's hard to even put into words how much Mayrelis did outside of her job description. NEXT LEVEL SERVICE! & truly the only kind of service you should receive when you know that someone cares about what she does. Mayrelis is that girl. I felt like she was invested in my wedding as much as I was and she did everything humanly possible to make sure that my wedding day went perfectly smooth. We had a last minute rain that forced us to move our reception inside right after the ceremony. To this day my guests still had no idea the reception was ever going to be outside in the first place because Mayrelis and her team flawlessly execute everything they touch. Mayrelis and the Elite Planning Firm Team went above and beyond helping me materializing my dream wedding. I still cannot get over how perfect our day was. I decided to go for a "Month-off" instead of the full year of planning because it was more suitable to my budget. Even though I was out of the city during the wedding planning I have to say Mayrelis was very flexible in meeting with me even before the month-off started and she was always open, kind and gracious answering my phone calls when I had questions along the planning. She gave me wonderful suggestions that worked out perfectly. May is very familiarized with numerous venues in Miami and she is well known and respected by the catering departments, including the Biltmore Hotel were I did my wedding reception. The fact that they knew her well at Biltmore helped a lot! It made things much easier. Brides, more important than anything, the day of your wedding she will make you and your mom feel that you have nothing to worry about: The timeline was perfection, May is very organized, goal oriented and in a few words she has the perfect personality for a wedding coordinator as she WILL TAKE CONTROL of the day (that is SO important ! especially for a bride like me that can become a little controlling. (Girls! that day I was so chill that my sisters and mom started wondering if I took some medication hahaha). Look, there are many more details I have to say about her but before I run out of space I have to tell you brides: Consider this investment, I did a lot of research before I hired Mayrelis and her Team and her pricing is very reasonable compared to others with similar or even not as good quality as her but just "fame". I can guarantee this will be money well spent and it will be the reason (besides your new shiny husband) of your huge smile on your wedding day because you will be able to relax and really feel all your emotions after you put all in her hands. First and for most Mayrelis is the best in the business, look no further! Being from New Jersey and wanting a dream wedding in Miami my husband and I knew we needed a wedding planner. So my husband set up a phone interview with Mayrelis and within a few short minutes of being on the phone with her we knew she was the right one for the job. We planned our wedding with Mayrelis about 18 months out. Flying back and forth from Jersey to Miami to get things done. Doing all that traveling was stressful enough. But once we got to Miami she had a whole itinerary ready for us. Let me tell you, she knows the best people in the business. From our venue, invitations, officiate, flowers, DJ, videographer and everything else, we do not have one complaint. She made every visit super easy and we got SOO much done. Mayrelis would even pick us up from our hotel and drive us to each meeting we had. She really went above and beyond. She also never once complained or was bothered by the amount of emails/texts we had within all those months at whatever time of the day it was. This was very critical for us, being that we were not locals.
On the day of our wedding I could not believe all those months and months of planning how everything came together. Of course the weather in Miami you cant always trust so some major things had to change on the big day. But Mayrelis and her team got it done. My husband and I had the best day of our lives and it was the wedding of our dreams. We couldn’t have done it without her. Mayrelis you were not only our wedding planner, but you became part of our family and we are forever grateful for you. Thank you for everything!!!

Mayrelis helped us plan every detail of our daughter's wedding, including a 90 people Welcome Dinner and Morning After Brunch in our home. She made the remote wedding planning between our daughter and her fiancé (in New Jersey) and us (in Miami) easy, but most importantly, a thoroughly enjoyable experience, especially for my daughter and me.
Mayrelis expertise encompasses all aspects of wedding planning.
Understanding of Clients' Vision - Mayrelis was exceptional at understanding what our daughter and son in law wanted their wedding to be like. She helped them gradually develop their vision by using Pinterest and teleconferencing via Skype. Once they knew what they wanted, she assembled a list of vendors whom she felt were a good match both in terms of style and budget.
Industry Vendors: Mayrelis is great with vendors and has a well developed roster of service providers to meet any clients' wishes/specifications.
Budget: She helps you develop a budget to match your wishes and if you cannot afford all you want within your budget, she helps you come up with alternatives that are within your means. When we met with vendors, for example, the florist, she kept selections and choices within the preset budget for flowers.
Communicating with Clients: May was available to answer questions and or concerns via email, text and phone. If unable to answer , she would send a text saying she had gotten message and would respond or call as soon as she could.
Day Of: She was great making sure things ran smoothly at home as Anna got ready, at hotel as groom and guests got ready and during the ceremony and reception. She stayed until the very end.
After the wedding, she presented a document with the budget line by line, reviewed goods, services and payments. Anna had her dream wedding within budget!

Mayrelis and her team were absolutely amazing to work with! She literally made the vision for my wedding come to life and went above and beyond to do so. If I had told her I wanted to be brought in on the backs of turtles, she would have made it happen! She is an expert in the industry and has great relationships with many different wedding vendors in the Miami area. I interviewed a few different wedding planners in the area, but I didn't get the same genuine warmth from anyone else. Mayrelis and her team were absolutely amazing. I live an hour away from my venue and also have a very hectic schedule, as does my mom, so I was a little concerned about how we were going to plan it, where I was going to have the time, and all of the coordination with the vendors. We met with her (my mom and I) to discuss what we envisioned and any specifics and took everything into consideration when recommending vendors. May worked with both of us equally, if not my mother more, considering she was putting on the wedding and has a good eye for design and detail. We could tell she had good working relationships with the vendors, and aside from having one or two joint meetings with them, she took care of most of the correspondence. Her assistant Renatha was also very helpful to us during the planning and was totally on board and in the loop with whatever we had going on at that moment. Planning a wedding is definitely daunting, and overwhelming, and these ladies had everything organized, scheduled, and planned to a T. There was a completion date for every task on the calendar-timeline leading up to our big day. They were amazing with our family and friends and the big day went off without a hitch (from what I saw which I guess is the goal) and I didn't have to worry abut anything because May and her team were there taking care of the details. I can't thank Elite Planning Firm enough on a professional and a personal level and I hope to remain in contact with Mayrelis and rave to EVERYONE I KNOW about their work.

LOVE,LOVE,LOVE Elite Planning Firm! My advice when trying to decide on a wedding planner is to look no further!! Elite Planning Firm is worth every penny! Mayrelis is the absolute best planner! Have no fears!!! I was the mother of the bride (who is a very busy dentist in New York) attempting to have the wedding in Miami which was a destination for all the guests...I was skeptical of using a wedding planner because I knew that my daughter and I had soo many of our own ideas that we didn't want anyone to talk us out of doing anything or even give us different ideas...We were the kind of people who thought we were capable of doing it all on our own....we are sooo glad that we were proven wrong....Everyone wants a flawless, magical, wedding...but realistically it's impossible...there are so many things that are out of your control, especially with an outdoor wedding and a destination...May took all the worry out of the planning...She really listened to what we wanted and kept us organized and took care of every single detail....She knows the business and the area...She is an expert on getting the most our of your ideas...I arrived a few days earlier than everyone thinking I would have last minute things to do and I literally did nothing....Everything was taken care of!!! Elite Planning Firm are simply the B E S T!!! You will not have a regret with these ladies. May and Renatha are extremely professional and so nice and accommodating. I seriously could not have done it without them - and nobody should. Who wants to worry about vendor delivery on their wedding day? It all goes by so fast, you should really enjoy every second. Our wedding came out FLAWLESS! Everything went so smooth and I owe it all to them. We didn't have a single worry because we were confident these ladies had it under control. Towards the end of the night we even had flowers and some of the deserts from the wedding that we never got to try waiting for us in our suite. I'm at a complete loss for words when it comes to recommending Mayrelis and her team because I'm still in absolute awe that I turned out to be "that" girl with a perfect, magical and flawless wedding - and that is entirely because of her. If you have a vision, she will make it happen. If you don't have a vision, she will help guide you (and the groom as well, very important!). If you're freaking out, she will calm you down. If a guest rips a dress mid-wedding, she will fix it. If a crisis happens, good luck finding out because she'll nip it in the butt. If you have questions, she will answer them. I mean...your wedding will be in the safest, most professional, most experienced hands you can imagine with Mayrelis. She also has a stellar supporting cast of vendors that work as much magic as she does. The one thing I didn't want to feel surrounding my wedding was stress and thanks to Mayrelis, the groom and I literally spent the entire day at the beach the day before our wedding. Mayrelis is beyond amazing. I actually decided to work with May without meeting her in person, which should give you an idea of her persuasive skills and personality...trust me, you want her on your team. Even before we officially committed, she was helping me - which really allowed me to see how efficient, pleasant, and skillful she is. I met with May just a few times while planning my "destination" wedding - and it was seamless working with her from afar. When I was in Miami for planning, all our appointments were lined up, confirmed, and she was there every step of the way! She was available and prompt - and VERY well organized. She truly allowed us to enjoy the wedding planning fun, while she made everything happen behind the scenes. May handled our last-minute requests with ease, and when small issues arose - they were resolved quickly and in our favor!

Her team and vendors are top-notch. Although I consider myself a pretty good planner, I know that without May - our wedding simply would not have turned out as excellently as it did. May advocated for us, thought of special ways to make our wedding better - and generally, got 'stuff' done.

Seriously I don't even know what we would have accomplished for our wedding without Elite Planning! I met Mayrelis a couple years ago while she was planning my sister-in-law's wedding. She was so full of useful information and provided my SIL with many great ideas and connections to vendors that otherwise we would have never met had she not recommended them. So after our engagement after deciding on a wedding date, my fiance´ and I knew the right person to assist us in our year of wedding planning.
Mayrelis became more than our wedding planner, she was a mentor, a friend, and my creative sidekick! Our ideas flowed so well together and no matter how over the top or crazy my vision/ideas were, Mayrelis was never intimidated, she would simply top it with something even more spectacular! I am the "mother of the bride" and when my daughter told me she wanted to hire a wedding planner I told her it was unnecessary because I had planned many parties however my daughter insisted and after interviewing three other local planners we settled on Elite Planning. It was the best investment we made! Mayrelis found us a beautiful venue for the reception and negotiated a package that was phenomenal! After several meetings with my daughter to captivate her "vision" and "dream wedding" she suggested a flower vendor , photographer, videographer and most importantly a DJ that was able to materialize that vision again working within our budget and saving us money. Mayrelis handled all the big and small details of the wedding (things that would have never occurred to us) making it a perfect evening. What a great and flawless day! We couldn't have been happier with picking May as our wedding planner!!

We found out about May through a personal reference and we have to say that it made the planning process, as well as our big day so much stress free!...Not that wedding planning is an entirely stressless process :) May was available day and night to accommodate our schedules and she was guiding us through every step of the way.

We hired May and her team for the planning of our wedding at the Bath Club and the organization of our Welcome Cocktail at the Epic Hotel the night before. Both events were flawless and all we had to make sure was we had fun, and May and the team took care of the rest. Having an expert by your side throughout the planning process is absolutely invaluable and we cannot say often enough how glad we are to have hired Elite Planning Firm to make sure no detail was forgotten. Where to begin!

We hired Mayrelis and Elite Planning Firm to help us host our wedding at the Bath Club in April 2016. As some background, we both moved down from NYC shortly before getting engaged. We had very specific things in mind when started planning, and incredibly high expectations of what the event would eventually be like. Simply put, May and her team are absolutely amazing. It was the best decision we made to hire her to help plan our incredible wedding!

She’s connected to all the right people. When we started exploring venues (before we had settled on a planner) - EVERYONE spoke highly of May. She would listen to our vision and then recommend vendors that would help bring it to life. She wouldn’t just bring is one vendor, but multiple options to let us see different perspectives. All vendors came prepared with proposals and all were vetted by May for our style and taste level.

She’s resourceful. Throughout the process, May was amazing at working her connections and leveraging her relationships to get us exactly what we wanted. Not to mention she was completely transparent throughout the process. She was an amazing negotiator, while bringing us the BEST vendors in the industry to bring our vision to life. She was able to get a last minute DJ for a rain-call for the welcome drinks, coordinate a band from NYC and a singer from Nashville and make sure our very different families were 100% taken care of.

She lets you enjoy the best weekend of your life. May doesn’t just thinking of your wedding as “another event.” She really really cares about you and making sure your weekend is perfect and as stress-free as possible. She knew exactly what we wanted and needed without us having to ask. She even insisted we give her cell phone number for us to provide to ALL of our 175 guests incase they had questions throughout the weekend. Who does that?!

Aside from all this, she is just a fun, genuine person that you’ll end up wanting to know.

Working with May and the Elite Planning Team was the best decision we ever made!! May is everything we could have wanted in a wedding planner and more - she became a friend and part of the family!

May came highly recommended to us by a vendor that our family has worked with for over 25 years, and from the second we interviewed her we knew that it was going to be a great working relationship. She made the whole wedding planning process fun and easy which is exactly what we wanted. There were a lot of small details and logistics to our wedding that could have been daunting and overwhelming, but May was on top of every little thing - and she did it all with a smile (and in 4 inch heels)!

She is attentive, organized, professional, kind and all around amazing at what she does. You can tell by her relationships with the vendors, that they too enjoy working with her. Our photographer even came up to her the night of the wedding and said that he has worked with a lot of planners, but has never been to a wedding where everything ran so smoothly!

In addition to all of the above things that you look for in a wedding planner, what was most impressive to me was how incredible May was at successfully navigating all of different family personalities, politics, and most of all opinions, that can come along with planning a wedding - always finding a way to make sure everyone was happy.

My husband and I had an absolutely perfect wedding day, and planning process. It was stress free and most importantly - fun! May and her team are truly exceptional and I would highly recommend them to anyone.

I knew getting a wedding planner was a good idea but I never imagined it would be the BEST DID I DID! MAY was truly amazing! Not only is she very nice but also attentive to detail and always available. My wedding was in Miami but Im currently living in California and May was able to accommodate to my busy schedule and 3 hours difference. May was truly a dream come true! I cannot begin to express how amazing Mayrelis was. From the 1st day I interviewed her, I knew she was the one! At first, I started out looking at “destination” venues. The first one I looked at was a venue in Palm Beach. Hiring Mayrelis and the Elite team was the BEST decision I made when it came to our wedding. We were married at Vizcaya Garden & Museum, a beautiful, but VERY complicated venue to work with. May took care of everything single detail and was ALWAYS 2 steps ahead of everyone else. She’s extremely orangeade, prompt and on-time (which never happens in Miami), and attention to detail is impeccable.

She's a wedding planner that truly puts her heart and soul into the job. Our wedding was FLAWLESS because of her. We had many things going on during the wedding, such as ceremonial traditions, to requesting a butterfly release, to even surprising the bride (me, which I NEVER get surprised with anything) with Gipsy Kings performance. May and her team kept everything running smoothly without a doubt, I would hire Elite Planning a hundred times over again.

She also planned our rehearsal cocktail party the night before, and even that was seamless. My guests even commented that her dressed ripped during the reception and May's assistant sewed her back together. You would be crazy not to have Mayrelis and Elite Planning as your wedding planner. I would not have been able to do my wedding without her. Her pricing is also VERY reasonable. I had 2 other friends that were married in Miami, and BOTH commented how on top of everything Mayrelis was, and they had never seen a planner so good. Everything was absolutely wonderful. May and her team were INCREDIBLE! I had my doubts about the utility of a wedding planner and only ultimately hired May's team because my parents did not want to handle coordinating with vendors on the day of the wedding. Now, I am a complete believer in wedding planners and would recommend May to every South Florida bride!

They did the typical planner tasks very well. For example, they called all my vendors the week before the wedding to ensure they would provide the services contracted for. And they helped me create a timeline that worked (which was quite complicated, since I had two ceremonies in two different locations plus a few speeches) and made sure we stuck to it.

But what really sets them apart is the unexpected extra things they did. One member of May's team kept my lipstick on hand to touch me up whenever it was needed -- they kept me looking beautiful all night! And somehow, they knew exactly when I needed to change out of my heels and were there ready with my flats. Finally, they made sure our bridal suite was beautifully decorated for the night of our wedding.

Honestly, the night would not have been the same without them. To all future brides, hiring this team will be the best decision you will make with regards to wedding planning!

To say that Mayrelis and her team were wonderful is an understatement. We were not even sure we needed a day of planner, but now we know we could not have done it without one, and Mayrelis was perfect! From the first meeting, she listened with care and attention and on the day of she was an absolute rock star. She made sure that everything went exactly as we wanted it to. She took such good care of us that the afternoon before our wedding we actually got to take a nap and enjoy our family. Let me first say that I highly recommend hiring a planner, and if you're a busy bride like I was, you'll need more than just day of services. This was the same advice I received prior to hiring a planner. More than just time management, it helps to have someone by your side to calm your nerves and intelligently answer all the silly questions that pop into your head about shades of pink and blush or the proper way of adding a stamp to an irregularly sized envelope. It's amazing the details you never considered.

That said, I interviewed someone else before meeting Mayrelis. However, that person and I just didn't click. I was concerned she had her own vision for my wedding, and didn't listen to or understand what I wanted. That's when someone close to me who works in the wedding industry recommended that I interview Mayrelis. The same night we met, I knew she was the one to help turn my dream wedding into a reality. She listened to what I wanted, and guided me in areas where I didn't know what I was thinking. She had new and fresh ideas to personalize my wedding. She was always flexible and easily accessible by email and text. She made things easy by scheduling all my appointments and joining my mom and I at each one. The first day I toured Vizcaya as a potential venue, Adrienne introduced us to a woman she described as "one of Vizcaya's great wedding planners," or something to that effect. I shook Mayrelis's hand and we began a short dialogue that would continue on for the next year and handful of months. I often told Mayrelis that I believed God brought us together, because with her professionalism carrying out my event, my faith was explosive. I made two trips to Miami prior to my wedding. May emailed over a detailed itinerary the night before our scheduled meetings. This level of organization was crucial to this bride-to-be. (Side note: I went with Theirry's Catering, PS Photography, BlueShore Productions, Love Child, Elegant Temptations, Distinctive Details, Make-Up and the City and Sissi Hair and Make-Up). Having gone through this recently, I believe that a wedding is only as great as its vendors. Knowing this well, May introduced me to professionals - those with whom she was familiar, had worked with previously and was unafraid to ask the tough questions.

On the day of our wedding, May was completely brilliant. Actually, my MOH commented that May reminded her of J-Lo in The Wedding Planner. I applaud that comparison, minus the stealing of the fiancé ;) Her attention-to-detail set a new precedent for competitors in the area. For example, while my husband and I were photographing up on the casino mound, May had organized a greeting with champagne flutes and two of every appetizer. While at the reception, we were whisked away and given 20 minutes-or-so to enjoy dinner. Whenever my wine glass ran half-empty, I was greeted with a newly-poured merlot (my beverage of choice). Same went for Ryan and our family members. These are the things we will remember. The unnecessary but brilliant "gifts" from our wedding planner.

As the wedding neared an end, ten+ members of the wedding party commented on how excellent May is, six of them being groomsmen. I believe that says it all.

There are no words to describe how amazing and talented Mayrelis is. She made our special day truly spectacular. Mayrelis work ethic is unmatched, and a true pleasure to work with. From the moment you speak with her you will honestly see why her ratings are so high, she is truly passionate about what she does and it shows not only in her constant communication, but with the outcome. Mayrelis is extremely trustworthy, hardworking, and reliable to her name and her professionalism is second to none. She attended every meeting with me and guided me and gave me recommendations for various wedding vendors, even down to a seamstress. She knows her stuff and I have to say they were all fantastic and extremely reliable. She gave me inspiration and ideas and attended every single detail. First i have to start by saying that Mayrelis from Elite Planning Firm was A+++ ... Picking a planner is one of the most important things you will do on your wedding day. When we chose Mayrelis we knew she was great but she exceeded our expectatons in every way. She will go above and beyond to cater too your every need. We wanted a small intimate wedding with a WOW factor and thanks to her vast experience she was able to see our vision from begining to end, and she came thru with what we wanted and more. We could tell during the process that she's super organized and makes sure that every detail is covered. We loved the fact that she was always keeping us up to date about our vendors and the way our wedding was turning out. She helped us greatly by negotiating a last few minute vendors that needed to be added to our wedding. We feel so blessed to have had her as our planner because she took away alot of stress off of our shoulders and also saved us from a few lil newlywed mistakes. Before I hired Mayrelis Febles and Elite Planning Firm, I had two reservations about hiring a planner. My first reservation was that it was not worth the money. I am well-organized, comfortable negotiating, and produce big projects in my professional life. I thought I could handle the planning myself and then hand it over to a day-of-coordinator. I have never been more laughably wrong about something in my entire life. It turns out that watching "Say Yes to the Dress" does not prepare you to compare vendors or to know contract standards.

In reality, the savings Mayrelis brought in more than offset her own fee. She caught discrepancies in proposals and contracts, reworked multiple vendors to get us more bang for our buck, and once we hit a point of decision fatigue (do you know how many shades there are of "off white"?!) we relied on Mayrelis to tell us where we should splurge and where we should cut.

My second reservation was that our vision for our wedding would be subsumed by the planner's own vision. Instead, Mayrelis honored all of our unconventional wishes, while seamlessly adding details that we would have otherwise missed.

Bottom line: If you are a working bride, you need a planner like Mayrelis Febles and her team at Elite Planning Firm. What's more - there are plenty of good planners out there who share Mayrelis' planning ability, but unlike others who will serve you as a client, Mayrelis will treat you like family and advocate for your interests above all others.

Mayrelis came highly recommended to us by A Joy Wallace Catering as the expert on weddings at Vizcaya Museum & Gardens. We met, and six months later we hosted a truly magical wedding ran by May and her team at Elite Planning Firm.
In my opinion, one of Mayrelis’ biggest assets as a planner is her keen ability to perceive and predict what a client wants. With May, you don’t have to waste much time explaining and describing. She’s one of those people who just get it, and after just a few weeks of wedding planning she can anticipate what you will like or dislike. She uses this talent to guide vendors and help tailor their services to fit your needs. For this reason, I placed immense trust in my planner! I honestly think she is one of the biggest reasons I was so relaxed on my wedding day.
The best part about having a planner is they take on a large portion of the workload allowing you the luxury to only worry about what’s important to you. Whether I was shopping for a wedding dress or attending a friend’s wedding in the South of France, Mayrelis was ardently negotiating contracts in our favor and facilitating our requests. With a solid planner you know a professional is in control of your wedding so you can use your time as you please.
Mayrelis comes off very sweet with her polished blonde bangs and her big smile, but she stings like a bee when her client isn’t happy. She is very passionate about her work and reputation and will move mountains to give clients what they want. She is easy to trust and takes a very transparent approach to wedding planning. You can rely on her to defend your best interest with all vendors. And as busy as she is, May somehow makes you feel like you were her only bride throughout your entire wedding planning process!
My personal experience with Mayrelis was a success and I do recommend her. She worked hard to earn our respect and gratitude, both of which she will always have.

Where do I begin? Mayrelis and I have worked together professionally for many years and I have seen her work her magic for many brides, but it was SUCH a pleasure to have the opportunity to collaborate with her on my OWN wedding! My husband and I felt so relaxed and at ease going into our wedding week and it was because we knew she had it all covered--all we had to do was show up, (get married!) and have fun! We came to this event planner with not much time to spare and in turmoil with a vendor. There was much to do in little time. Our event planner smoothed it all over and made it all happen. The event was fabulous and the experience was fabulous! She was extremely professional and is very organized. She came to us as a recommendation from the venue we were considering. Hiring Mayrelis for a day of planner was one of the best decisions I made when planning our wedding. She was on top of everything. My groomsmen forgot to pick up our wedding cake and Mayrelis sent her assistant to get it. My older sister was away from the table and her food got thrown away and May sent someone to pick her up McDonalds! She was amazing! All of my friends and family are saying that I had "the perfect wedding" and I know it would not have been without Mayrelis. Don't make the mistake of not hiring a day of planner at the least! She made my life so much easier!

I am writing this review as I am en route to my honeymoon but I felt I had to write it as soon as I could! I was blown away by how amazing my wedding turned out, it was absolutely perfect! We had 270 people at a notoriously difficult venue, preceded by a ceremony at a very strict church, and Mayrelis of elite planning firm simply knocked it out of the park (sports reference from my hubby)! I wish I could give her 10 stars, she simply brought my wedding dream to life! She found me the BEST vendors, and orchestrated a platinum wedding on a silver budget!! She was also part therapist and calmed my nerves during multiple meltdowns, and she was always reachable whenever I needed her. She never said no to any outlandish requests, she just made it happen. Brides, you need a wedding planner that you trust and that you like as a person, and Mayrelis truly exceeded all my expectations in EVERY department! She is always professional and well dressed, and super confident. She reassured all my many doubts, and handled every bump in the road calmly. I felt she always had my best interests at heart, which is very unusual in the wedding planning industry. She has so much experience, and implemented so many unique and fresh ideas to make our wedding unforgettable! All of our family and almost every single guest has said it was the best wedding they have ever been to! And it was all thanks to elite planning firm! My husband and I got married in January of 2014 in Islamorada, Florida Keys and contracted May and her team at Elite Planning Firm who were much, much more than wedding coordinators. From the day that we signed our contract, May went above and beyond to make our wedding day the most perfect and spectacular evening we could have only dreamed of. May constantly provided us with tips about vendors to consider, preparations to factor in and her undivided attention throughout each and every step along the way. May met with us several times to discuss our needs, answer our questions, guide us along the way, and handled all of the vendors, which truly relieved us from the extremely stressful feelings we had prior to contracting her to coordinate our wedding details. May's obvious expertise, organization, professionalism and attention to detail was exactly what we were looking for. She went out her way to be present at our wedding rehearsal in the Keys, located 2 hours outside of Miami and then arrived early the next day for our wedding to handle every tiny detail for the setup. My husband and I had absolutely nothing to worry about throughout the wedding event. She scheduled the vendors' arrivals to the tee, oversaw the setup to reflect all that we desired, and even ensured that the groomsmen were on time! The wedding itself was absolutely FLAWLESS! We had a filled drink in our hand at all times, my change of shoes were available to me before my feet ached, the timeline she set up was perfect, and every single guest raved about how exquisite or special day was. We could not have selected a better team to coordinate our most sacred and special occasion and, it is truly because of May and her team that the evening was as magical and magnificent as it was. My experience with Elite Planning Firm was wonderful. I was planning a large wedding in Miami at Vizcaya Museum and Gardens while I was living and working full-time in Houston, Texas. Needless to say, this wedding would never have happened without my wedding planner, Mayrelis Valle at EPF. She has a great deal of knowledge and experience planning weddings at Vizcaya as well as the vendors that are best suited for the venue. Every selection we made, from photographer, caterer, band, all the way to hair and makeup were fantastic. My goal was to complete all of my tasks prior to the weekend, so that I could enjoy myself. I spent the day of the wedding getting pampered, getting married, and then enjoying my reception. Mayrelis and her staff always made sure that my groom and I had a drink and food throughout the reception. Vizcaya is a magical place, and the whole event felt like a dream come true.

I would highly recommend EPF for planning your wedding. Not only did Mayrelis and EPF do an amazing job with the wedding, we established a friendship throughout a very important and emotional process for me, my mother, and my husband. It's important to have a planner that will listen to you, advocate for you, and ultimately bring your vision into reality. Mayrelis and EPF did that for us, and I'm confident that they can do the same for any other wedding.

May was excellent! She is the perfect wedding planner. Our only regret is that we hired her so late in the process. May was our day of coordinator but also gave us guidance and help the entire month leading up to the Wedding at an amazing value. If we could do it all over again we would have hired her from the start. We didn't realize what we were missing. May and her team were absolutely amazing! They were on point with every single details, every vendor and anything that came up at the wedding. They made everything flawless for me and I could have Not asked for a better wedding planner. As an accountant, I was looking for the most economical way to put together a wedding, but, as the MOTHER of the bride, I soon became aware that I could not be there for my daughter AND accept deliveries at our venue at the same time. This simple fact led me to the BEST decision of our whole year-long process of planning - hiring MAYRELIS VALLE with ELITE PLANNING FIRM to be our "day-of" wedding coordinator. I had NO idea what is required behind the scenes to create a perfect day, plus I was trying to do it long distance! Mayrelis had the years of industry experience that I was lacking and the local knowledge of the best services at the best price. She responded to our needs at a moment’s notice. She had the connections to immediately supply excellent vendors when my hires fell through a week before the wedding - she even saved us money on the replacements! She created a perfect timeline of the day and made sure that our vendors adhered to it and performed as contracted. Most importantly, she fully and immediately grasped our daughter’s vision and made sure that all was exactly as she wanted. She is passionate and yet so personable and easy to work with - a RARE combination. And yet for ALL of the hours that she spent on our 150-guest event, her fee was extremely reasonable. On the big day, I was able to relax and enjoy seeing the joy in my daughter's eyes because I knew that MAYRELIS was supervising every detail and making the event run like a well-oiled machine. Mayrelis was such a pleasure to work with while planning our wedding. We felt at ease with her and confident in her skills from the moment we met her, and she absolutely exceeded our expectations. We planned our wedding from afar, and Mayrelis was incredibly responsive and helpful throughout the entire planning process - she provided guidance, creative suggestions, and demonstrated so much patience with all the personalities involved. She was able to able to help secure other services for us at the last minute, she was able to wrangle our families, the wedding party, and all the vendors, and most of all, I felt completely relaxed the day of the wedding thanks to her. We were so lucky to work with her and would highly recommend her to others.

Mayrelis made my wedding the best night of my life! She was always extremely available and responsive and made what can be a stressful time extremely easy and fun! She made sure every little detail was absolutely perfect. She truly loves what she does and that is apparent in her hard work and dedication. I can not recommend her highly enough!!!

We are from Illinois and were having our wedding in Miami so we decided to hired Elite Planning Firm for the day of and it was the best decision we made, We regret not hired her since the beginning. May was on top of every single detail. She was there for the rehearsal making sure everybody understood what they were doing, also the day of the wedding she brought us the bouquets to the hotel room where me and my bridesmaids were getting ready so we could had them for pictures. She even clean my dress when I spill the sauce on it while cutting the meat and made sure it didn't happened again sending my plate to the kitchen so they could cut it (My dress was like nothing ever happened). We never had our cups empty. In conclusion, we recommend her 100% at least for the day of, we couldn't have done it without her.

Sweet, but get it done May!

May honestly came and immediately settled myself and my moms concerns about planning a wedding. She was honest, to the point never once thought my opinion didn't matter, and made us realize a phenomenal wedding can happen without a sky's the limit budget. Her team on my day couldn't have been nicer, and to have May stay my whole wedding and walk my husband and I up to our room end of the night, well to me that means family. May has so many connections and truly was a godsend to my family, husband and my whole wedding experience.

Mayrelis was great! Her attention to detail and suggestions helped tremendously. She is very organized and straight forward with vendors when she needs to be. I only wish that the team she uses for small weddings (approx 100 guests) had an additional person. At times I felt like it was needed. Overall, she was phenomenal and was on top of contacting vendors and keeping track of contracts and final payments. I highly recommend Mayrelis and Elite Planning Firm!

My daughter's wedding was absolutely wonderful and a great deal of credit goes to Elite Planning Firm and our fantastic wedding coordinator, Mayrellis V. She was the best! In the craziness with all the details and coordinating a destination event in Miami, she was patient, efficient and professional. She had connections with vendors able to negotiate good deals for us. When table seating changed at the last minute at the reception, she took care of it graciously - no one ever knew. She kept us posted on all the little things we forgot.This allowed me to leave the work to her so I could really enjoy this special occasion. Highly recommend her and the firm!
