I cannot recommend Lauren and her team enough. Lauren worked with my sister for her wedding and when I got engaged she was the first vendor I reached out to. My sister's wedding ended up being extremely stressful due to a family emergency and Lauren and her team were truly amazing throughout the whole day.

Fast forward three years and I knew I had to work with Electric Celebrations for my wedding. We ended up having to cancel our plans due to the pandemic and Lauren made the process seamless and stress-free. As she stated in one of our many calls, my job is to make this day as easy for you as possible and that is even more true now than ever. Lauren makes you feel like her only client and it felt like I had a best friend as my wedding coordinator. She is incredible at understanding the vibe you are going for and providing amazing ideas and details that transform your vision. Not only was she amazing during the planning process but the care that she provided while helping us through this difficult time will never be forgotten! Lauren was incredible! We would not have been able to do our “zoom/quarantine wedding” without her. When we started planning we thought our simple ceremony would be a piece of cake, until we realized navigating the logistics of planning a wedding during a global pandemic is not easy! Lauren found us wonderful vendors who were were both extremely talented and right within our budget. Lauren also planned every minute of our day and made sure it all went off without a hitch. We had our ceremony on the Brooklyn Heights Promenade and Lauren ensured everything was perfect, including making sure our families in attendance felt comfortable and safe. She did this all on a very short timeline, which made it all the more impressive. She was a pleasure to work with. We’d recommend her to anyone getting married anywhere and anytime...but especially in NYC in these crazy times!

Hands down the best decision we made in planning our son's Bar Mitzvah was hiring Lauren. She keyed right into our vision and guided us in the execution in a way that felt completely authentic to our values and style. She validated our inclination to dispense with certain "obligatory" elements that didn't feel right to us, never once pushing us to incorporate things that we didn't want or need. When she suggested we add certain design elements to our space that I originally didn't think we needed, I quickly realized she was 100% spot on. Every one of her vendor recommendations was perfect, and she and her team coordinated with them smoothly and flawlessly. She is SO hyper organized that I never once worried any detail would slip through the cracks. She asked the questions that we didn't know to ask. And, through every step of the planning process, we had so much FUN working with her. Now that one of most important days of our lives has passed, what is keeping me from being sad is that we've already hired Lauren for our younger son's Bar Mitzvah! Can't wait to get the ideas flowing with our favorite event savant again!

I was fortunate to work with Electric Celebrations and Lauren when planning my NYC wedding. Lauren is crazy good at her job and has the rare ability to manage both the logistical and creative elements of planning.

I was very clear I did want a "cookie cutter" wedding, though as someone who is creatively challenged, relied heavily on Lauren to craft the right vibe with us. She vetted our vendors. She advised me on all the visual elements down to the handwriting on our place settings. She even coached me through taking a leap and performing a Stevie Wonder song at the reception!

She also helped us think through every logistical step of the process for over a year. She had our wedding day schedule planned down to the minute, which I did not even know was possible. She also stepped in last minute to do a tasting with my husband when I was out of town!

On top of all her skills and tastes, she also brings an incredibly soothing energy to the whole experience. Lauren handles herself and her clients with ease through times when stress and emotions are running high. It's clear from the first meeting that Lauren operates under a principle of making her clients feel supported while fulfilling their many wishes. She is a planner AND therapist AND some special kind of genie.

By the end, Lauren had become like family -- so much so that she was the first person my dad thanked in his speech!

I can't say enough good things about Lauren and Electric Celebrations. My wife and I met with a ton of wedding planners but Lauren was the only one who inspired confidence and truly "got us." Whether it was helping envision our perfect Brooklyn wedding, finding a venue, band, photographer, etc...to help bring it to life, or enabling us stay calm amdist the frenzy of our wedding day, Lauren and her team were there every step of the way. No question was too small (is that too many speeches?), no request was too big (yes, we do want L&B pizza for a midnight snack) for the Electric Celebrations team. From start to finish, Lauren was professional, compassionate, and responsive, and I know our wedding would not have been the same without her!
