They made the whole process smooth and stress-free, and my gown turned out absolutely beautiful. I truly felt confident and special on my wedding day. Highly recommended for future brides!

Cathy did an excellent job with my wedding dress and all it's accesories. My wedding dress was like two in one which I could easily remove the skirt and bolero and make it appear like a whole new dress. The skirt and bolero were made by hand and was very beautiful. She was also flexible and most importantly she was able to do last minute modifications to my dress due to my pregnancy. She is very outspoken and knows how to make her clients happy

My family has used Cathy multiple times to do alterations on several different items of clothes…everything from formal wear to jeans! Each time, she makes us feel comfortable, makes suggestions on the alterations and consistently does great work! I cannot recommend her enough!!!

While she didn't design my dress, she altered my extremely delicate silk gown and lace shirt. She knew exactly what type of fabric, how it was cut and what she would be able to do with it. Anytime I made a face or poked at something she'd say "I can fix that" and tell me all the options and methods to repair it.

She also took on alterations for my mom's dress, who is quite picky. She made me feel happy and comfortable on my wedding day.

I was recommended to Cathy by a family friend and I’m so happy with how everything turned out! The dress wasn’t the perfect fit for me and it was so heavy that the weight was pulling on my shoulders. Cathy got super creative and added details to the dress to not only fit me better, but feel so comfortable. She also custom made my veil, which was not what I thought I wanted originally but was so much better than I could have expected. She matched my veil to my dress perfectly and hand sewed so many details. She was super fun to work with and I felt very comfortable with her. She also helped so much on the day of my wedding, not just getting me adjusted in my dress but helping fix my dads shirt, putting the ribbons on the flower girls, steaming my bridesmaids dresses, and even fixing my veil and dress right as I was about to walk down the aisle.

Cathy Ebrada Atelier did an AMAZING job! When I say that Cathy was a Godsend, I am not exaggerating. Until I met Cathy, wedding dress shopping had been a nightmare for me because of the lack of professionalism and care. Other vendors that I had visited made me feel like I was a just number and tried to rush the process. I could not find the right dress, nor did I feel like I had the right vendor that I felt comfortable spending my hard earned money with.

Well, all that changed when I met Cathy. From booking my appointment over the phone, to our first meeting and thereafter, I felt calm and knew I had found the right place. Cathy, not only welcomed me, but also my mom and sister. She made me feel super special and celebrated my engagement. My mom and sister also loved her which was a plus because I really look up to both of them and they helped to influence my decision to go with Cathy Ebrada Atelier.

My fittings where always fun to go to. Cathy, is the kind of person who you have always known. The conversations were natural and she really cares about her work and making her clients happy! She is a perfectionist when it comes to her business. Cathy, not only serviced me but also my in-laws. Here are some of the services that I received from Cathy Ebrada Atelier:
-A custom made & convertible gown. My gown was detachable. I especially LOVED this part of my gown because I could really partay during the reception and not feel weighed down.
-A custom veil
-My gown was steam-pressed prior to my wedding and cleaned after my wedding.
-A tutorial on how to zip and unzip my gown, and the proper caring instructions. Cathy, was there every step of the way, so I did not have to worry about this part.
-Finally, Cathy was there to dress me up on my wedding day!

cannot say enough about how wonderful Cathy and her team are. She created me the wedding gown of my dreams! They modified my gown by changing the silhouette from a ballgown to a more aline shape. They
altered the gown from a size 12 to a size 6/8. They removed the appliqué and beads to be able to make adjustments then re-attached the appliqué and beads back to its original look. They hemmed the gown and steam pressed it and even cleaned a portion that had a small stain due to it being a floor sample. She is even meeting me on my wedding day to zip and button me into my gown! Do not hesitate to have Cathy make you a custom gown or alter a gown. Her work is exceptional!

Cathy was so much fun to work with! She did the alterations for my dress as well as made me a custom veil and belt to match. I initially came to her with a design idea for my veil that was pretty overdone. Cathy was happy to meet my wishes but discussed with me options that met my style but were more unique. I’m so happy she was honest and that I went with her suggestions! I had a French Quarter New Orleans wedding and I feel like the design Cathy created matched that vibe perfectly (waaaaaay better than what I initially had in mind!!). She truly made a one of a kind piece. There are a ton of hidden details that make the veil romantic, like two birds flying together to represent my husband and me, and our initials and wedding date. I also wanted something “blingy” but not tacky. Cathy and her team used clear and iridescent Swarovski crystals on my veil and belt to give it that “shimmer” effect without being over the top.

I also kept losing weight before the wedding and Cathy and her team were so flexible to continuously have to take the dress in. Her seamstresses are hilarious and professional! She sometimes would bring them in so they could all collaborate. Three minds are always better than one! Cathy’s a perfectionist and if she’s not 100% sure, she pulls in her team to make sure. It really felt like the work they were doing was uniquely for ME and my style, body, and requests. I’m so grateful for their work, it was so so beautiful and better than I could’ve ever imagined—thank you!

Cathy was able to resurrect my grandmothers 58 year old wedding dress, tailored it to fit to me, and modernized the whole look. It was an incredibly personalized and she made me feel like the most important bride ever. Her skills as a designer are amazing and her team has amazing seamstress skills. Her attention to detail is incredible too and always made sure I looked and felt my best. Thank you Cathy!!

I could not have been happier with the professional, expert, and affordable services I received from Cathy Ebrada!!! Having Cathy Ebrada customize my wedding dress and design/make a custom veil out of both my grandma’s wedding dress and my mom’s wedding dress was the most enjoyable, meaningful, and special part of the wedding planning process! Both my dress and veil turned out perfectly - absolutely breathtaking and timeliness. The fact that both my dress and veil included/incorporated three generations of my family and the most important women/people in my life, made me so happy. Not only is Cathy Ebrada an incredibly talented artist and designer, she was an absolute joy to work with! Cathy was incredibly responsive, flexible, accommodating, and able to work in a very condensed timeline (we had a very short engagement because we really wanted to get married Columbus Day Weekend at my family’s farm in Leesburg, VA). Cathy Ebrada was able to customize my wedding dress, design, and make my veil from scratchy from my grandma’s and mom’s wedding dress, and customize/design my mom’s Mother-of-the-Bride dress for the wedding (that looked absolutely perfect on my mom and she looked so beautiful!) – in less than 7-weeks time! Cahty Ebrada made the whole process so relaxing and enjoyable – traveling to my mom and I for all of our fittings and design sessions.
Most incredible of all, Cathy Ebrada and her assistant came to help dress me in my wedding dress and put on my veil before the wedding ceremony. Additionally, Cathy Ebrada and her assistance carried my veil and ensured it was laid out on the ground perfectly up until the moment my Dad and I began our walk down the aisle to the alter. Likewise, Cathy Ebrada stayed to help ensure everything was perfect with my dress and veil while we were taking photographs after the wedding during the cocktail hour. Furthermore, the Monday after the wedding, Cathy personally traveled to our house to pick up my wedding dress and veil to clean and preserve.
At all times, Cathy Ebrada was respectful, poised, professional, and wonderful to work with. Cathy Ebrada made my wedding dress and veil (and wedding!) even more special than I ever thought possible!
