Easy Event Ideas is a full service event planning company. We love wedding planning and look forward to speaking with you and sharing how we can ensure your event is a memorable and everything you want it to be. We specialize in attention to detail and making sure your event runs efficiently and smoothly. We have planned thousands of events over the past fourteen years. Events ranging from weddings to christenings to large scale concerts and festivals for thousands of attendees. Regardless of the event site, size, or budget, we place a premium on attention to detail and design. We make sure the event fits your personality in every way possible. We'll work to make your dreams a reality.

Easy Event Ideas LLC provides full planning, partial planning, and day-of coordination services for wedding ceremonies, receptions, and rehearsal dinners. We also offer remote services to those clients who are not located in the DC area. In addition to planning services, Michelle also has her own Etsy shop with different printables. Wedding planning services offered include the following:

Packages

FULL SERVICE PACKAGE

This is a customized package designed to assist with almost all event planning and design aspects from budget, theme, color, style, venue selection, vendor referrals, vendor management, vendor meetings, guest accommodations, transportation arrangements, favors, guest welcome packages, seating assignments, programs, event timeline and more. I will be there with you to help every step of the way! Package begins at $5500.

PARTIAL PLANNING

With this package we do the planning together. We’ll help you through the process recommending vendors, keeping you on schedule and reminding you what to do next. You’ll contact the vendors and we will help you review the contracts. This package can be custom fitted to help you with what ever aspects of the process you need assistance with. Package begins at $3500.

MONTH OF EVENT COORDINATION PACKAGE

We know you want to be able to enjoy your event so I want to be able to help you experience your party instead of running it! You will plan your event and then four to six weeks before we will confirm everything and assist with all last minute details. We work with your vendors, execute event timeline, and provide you with a smooth and carefree event. You’ve worked hard planning your event and now it is time for you to enjoy the day with your guests. Package begins at $1800.

TIMELINE AND VENDOR COORDINATION PACKAGE

We know that more and more often couples are planning smaller weddings and we want to help your day run smoothly. You may find that you don't need to have a planner there at your wedding but that you may need someone to help you pull together all of the end. The Timeline and Vendor Coordination package includes a virtual meeting where we construct your wedding events into a day of timeline and then one to two weeks out we will coordinate with your vendors. We will add their arrival times, any items they may need to do their job (a chair and table for the DJ, cake stand for the cake, etc.), and day of contact info to your timeline. This package is $400.

SET UP PACKAGE

You've done all of the planning for your event, handled all of your vendors yourself, and you've created some amazing DIY items or decor to be at your event; but, you're going to be too busy getting ready for the big day to set everything up. This package allows you to hand over all of those decor and set up pieces to us to set up for you and make sure it's all ready for the big day! The Set Up Package includes a virtual meeting a month out where we will disucss everything you have planned to be at your event and we will construct your wedding design together. Then two weeks before your event we will have a final meeting to discuss your item inventory and decor set up. And on the big day we will be there to set everything up! If you can't bring the items to the venue yourself you can also add on item pick up and delivery to your event space. This package begins at $500.

Very Thankful for Michelle!

We worked with Michelle for the day-of/ month-of coordination package for our wedding and are so glad we did. Michelle is incredibly organized, responsive, and is always thinking 2-3 steps ahead. She worked with us for about a month leading up to the wedding, working with us to review our timeline & vendors and offering helpful suggestions along the way. Michelle used her experience to help us anticipate and prepare for every aspect of our wedding, which is exactly what we needed. Most of all, she cared deeply about getting to know us and our vision for the day so she could work on executing that vision while we enjoyed the day.

I planned most of our wedding, so I was initially on the fence if I should reserve a day-of-coordinator or not, since our venue had a catering manger; but looking back, I would absolutely urge every couple to DO IT. After meeting Michelle and having a wedding that went so perfectly, I really see this as an investment in the time & energy you put into the planning process. Knowing that Michelle understood exactly how I wanted things to go and I could trust her to make that happen allowed me to full be in the moment during our wedding and enjoy every single minute of the day. Michelle's rates are incredibly reasonable for the level of service and peace of mind she brings. I am so grateful for Michelle's time, care, and attention that helped make the day so special for us and allowed our friends and family (and us!) to enjoy every single minute.

Easy to work with and professional

Michelle calmed my nerves (and my mothers) and was able to help me figure out everything about this wedding; she basically kept it from being a nightmare (because I really hate event planning.) Any question I had, she had an answer for or a solution to. She was calm, professional, well-organized, and easy to work with.

We hired Michelle for day-of wedding planning. We debated about whether to pay for a coordinator and are so thankful we did! It was amazing having Michelle there to confirm with all of the vendors before the wedding day and then to handle the entire setup. While we were getting ready and posing for photos, she made sure all of the vendors were settling in. We were especially appreciative because we had to go with our rain plan and she made sure everything still went seamlessly. She was incredibly responsive and was so patient with all of my questions in the few weeks before the wedding.
