We genuinely cannot say enough good things about Victoria and the entire DVS Events team. Our wedding weekend had a LOT of moving parts including multiple ceremonies, multiple cultural traditions, several events across the weekend, a huge wedding party, lots of family, vendors, timeline changes, and about a million little details and Victoria, Alli, and Christina somehow made all of it feel completely manageable.

From the big things down to the tiniest things we didn’t even realize needed to be handled, they were there. They were constantly checking in on us, our families, our wedding party, and our vendors, making sure everyone knew where they needed to be and that everything was happening when it was supposed to. There were so many moments where one of us would think, “Oh, we need to figure out…” only to realize they had already taken care of it.

What we appreciated most was how calm and genuinely caring they were. We never felt like we were just another wedding on a schedule. They understood how important all of the different traditions and events were to both of our families and did an incredible job navigating a multicultural wedding weekend while still making everything feel like us.

Victoria was amazing from the planning stages including the walk throughs, the timelines, the vendor calls, all of it through the end of the weekend, and Victoria, Alli, and Christina were incredible on-site. The three of them seemed to be everywhere at once without ever making anything feel hectic. They handled things big and small, solved problems before they ever became our problems, and gave us the ability to actually be present and enjoy our wedding instead of worrying about what was happening behind the scenes.

Looking back, hiring DVS was genuinely one of the best decisions we made. There is no way our weekend would have run as smoothly as it did without them. We are so grateful to Victoria, Alli, Christina, and the entire DVS team and would recommend them without hesitation - especially if you’re planning a wedding with a lot of moving pieces. In general she was very well organized during our regular meetings, was able to quickly adapt to our frequently changing requirements, and during the weekend festivities, she kept everything flowing smoothly. Victoria and her team were invaluable in planning our six-event Indian-American fusion wedding, which included both Hindu and American ceremonies—all while we were planning from two time zones away. She helped us stay on track with our timeline and budget and connected us with incredible vendors who truly brought our vision to life.

The wedding events went off perfectly from the vendor perspective, but when unforeseen issues arose (as they often do), she was very calm and successfully managed them with minimal impact to the schedule. She managed everything so smoothly behind the scenes that our guests had no idea anything had gone off track!

When we first met Victoria, we were worried about trusting someone to manage our big fat Punjabi wedding. Within the first meeting, we realized we were dealing with someone who knew her stuff, impressing us with her knowledge of the culture, traditions, and with examples of weddings she had done in the past.

Working with Victoria was a breeze, she was very organized, and was responsive to our questions as we were getting started out. We had a longer planning process (1.5 years), and she kept us on track of what things we needed to secure ASAP, and what could wait. We ended up using her recommendations for the majority of our vendors, all of whom were incredible, and you could tell they really enjoy working with Victoria as well, going the extra mile for us over and over.

The planning process was smooth, with regular check ins and calls to make sure we were all on the same page. She did a good job of trying to save money and time wherever she could, and always gave us multiple options for vendors to compare prices. We didn’t have any last minute panic situations or misses, which is rare for 5 days of events. As we got closer to the wedding week, we spoke much more regularly, and she was always quick to respond in our group chat which made things really easy.

As smooth as the planning was, the true testament is to the DVS team on the ground, who made all of our events go so smoothly. We managed to stay on our timeline for the entire week, and that was thanks to Victoria and her team wrangling our families and guests to where they needed to be. They were cool and calm under stress, which was a huge help to us navigating a week full of wedding events. Victoria was always there to check in on us, made sure we had food and drinks, handle our gift boxes, on top of making sure all the vendors were doing their jobs.

I was most impressed with Victoria when it came to our wedding. The night before, she was up with us at 11PM, double checking the logistics for the day, and getting on the same page with us. We had the wedding at the Palmer House downtown, which is not the easiest hotel to navigate. Everything went without a hitch, with everything staying perfectly on time. So many of our guests approached us the next day, singing Victoria’s praises, and telling us about how she was running around handling business without us even knowing. Our wedding was a dream come true, and I really attribute it to the DVS team.

I am admittedly a bit of a Type A personality, and a stickler for details and thinking through every possibility when it comes to event planning. Victoria rose to that occasion, and made me feel at ease that I could trust her to prioritize what was important to us. I can’t speak highly enough about Victoria and DVS. If you are able to work with them it will be one of the smartest decisions you will ever make, a review will never do them justice.

Victoria came in after we had already started doing some vendor planning on our own and made everything so much easier. We worked with Victoria and her team on our October 2025 wedding with a 6-week coordinating package. Their team has a lot of experience in the Chicago area, so are very knowledgeable about vendors, locations, and other considerations.

Victoria met with us multiple times beginning in September 2025 to help us prepare for our wedding. The meetings were well-organized and helped us to get our timeline ready, which Victoria communicated to our other vendors and ensured everyone was on the same page.

On the day of our wedding, Victoria and her team helped get all of our personal items to the venue and set up perfectly. Any hiccups were dealt with calmly, professionally, and efficiently by her and her team. Her team also packed up all of our personal items at the end of the night so we could enjoy ourselves to the last minute.

Hiring a coordinator was so worth it to us. I was able to shut off my type-A personality brain and just enjoy the day knowing that someone else (who has done this many more times than me!) could be in charge! Victoria and her team were great, and I would highly recommend them!

They were punctual for vendor meetings and led discussions to achieve the best outcomes within our budget and creative design. Victoria maintained excellent communication throughout the process. The website she used to track vendor contracts and share information was extremely helpful. DVS’s list of trusted vendors was extensive, and each vendor was professional and engaging. Collectively, DVS presented a highly creative team that not only exceeded our expectations but also stayed within budget. Victoria’s creative input was invaluable and contributed to an event that truly wowed our audience.

**Event Delivery:** DVS Events paid great attention to detail, ensuring that the setup ran smoothly and everything was executed as envisioned and on schedule. They created a comprehensive run of show that was shared with all vendors and team members. DVS effectively managed all teams, delivering a stunning event while ensuring everyone enjoyed the process. **Post-event:** DVS Events made sure that all vendors left the property in the same condition in which it was found. They followed up with invoicing and ensured that all vendors were satisfied. The event wrap-up was smooth and flawless.
