My husband and I hired Laurel to be our day of wedding coordinator for our wedding on July 19th and we could not have been happier with our choice and Laurel’s services!!! From the beginning Laurel was very responsive and always available to answer any questions I had! She attended multiple meetings at our venue to discuss day of details etc without hesitation! Laurel was extremely organized and always on top of anything I mentioned I would need her to help with on wedding day! Come wedding day we truly could not have had such a seamlessly perfect wedding without all of laurels hard work!! She knew exactly what needed to be done and executed it perfectly!!! She set up decor, made sure we stayed on schedule, helped us with anything we needed as little things came up throughout the day, made sure we had drinks in hand, and confidently made decisions regarding logistics and decor when we had to move our cocktail hour inside due to rain! She was truly incredible and a joy to work with!! Our wedding would not have been what it was without her, so thank you Laurel!! Most importantly having Laurel there allowed my husband, family and I to truly enjoy each moment of the wedding as we had nothing to worry about, she had it covered, a brides dream come true!!! I would highly recommend Laurel and her team for all your wedding coordination needs!!! Thank you again!!

So so so thankful that we hired Lauren! She went above and beyond our expectations and most of all, she kept us on track. She was easy to communicate with and very responsive for the whole year we worked with her. We were able to have a worry free wedding day experience thanks to her. She also did an extremely great job at setting up all our decor and making our ceremony and reception look STUNNING. From start to finish, she was beyond helpful, incredibly organized, and genuinely caring. She was always a step ahead, thinking of every little detail before I even had the chance to worry about it. We originally reached out to Lauren because she was my best friend’s day of coordinator and she made the day flow so smoothly and took all the weight off the bride. She was not available for our wedding day, 10/4/24, but introduced us to Christina and it was a match made in heaven! Christina went above and beyond and helped make our day PERFECT! Although she was our day of coordinator, she was available for any questions we had from the time of signing, which was in December! She helped with narrowing down venders and giving honest opinions/feedback when asked! We had a sit down meeting with her about two months out which was very relaxing and informative. After that meeting we headed to a consultation with our venue/venue coordinator and it was nice to build that relationship all together. Christina did so much behind scenes that we’re sure we still don’t know everything she helped with! She was ready for anything and everything, we needed scissors, she had them, I had makeup on my dress, she had wipes. She even took pictures as we were walking around with our photographer and videographer, some of the best pictures from our special day. She built our timeline, kept us on schedule, reached out to venders, set reminders for final payments, handled tips, helped with set up and room flip, ran our rehearsal, brought decor back to our hotel and so much more. If you think a day of coordinator isn’t needed/out of budget, I highly recommend to rethink that decision and honestly re-budget somehow, there are affordable options out there (we did a lot of research and found someone that worked perfectly for us). It was nice knowing we had someone we trusted helping make our day special without having to sacrifice our friends and family missing certain events/moments for set up/tear down. For us, that was something we didn’t want to happen. We highly recommend I Do Memorable Occasions, Lauren and Christina are both phenomenal to work with and very responsive. Our day couldn’t have been more perfect, and that’s all thanks to Christina and I Do Memorable Occasions!

We hired Lauren for our day of coordinator and she was truly AMAZING! She went above and beyond to make sure everything was perfect for the day. She met with us once at our reception space and went through everything. We were pretty laid back so it was great to have Lauren telling us exactly what we needed to do and prepare. About a month before, she reached out to all of our vendors and made sure everyone had our schedule. This was so helpful because we did not have to worry about anything!The day of our wedding, Lauren was at the venue setting things up beforehand, brought us drinks the entire night, and was a calming presence. I have been to multiple weddings and have seen planners drag bridesmaids out on the dancefloor to get the "perfect dancing pictures with the bride." Lauren was not pushy at all and let everything happen naturally.
I have been to so many weddings where the bride and groom, parents, or friends and family members were forced to clean up and load up cars at the end of the night. I was so adamant at the start of this process that I did not want any of my family members having to worry about this at the end of the night. About an hour before the reception ended, Lauren brought everything back to our hotel room. I still have no idea how she got all of it up to the room so effortlessly, but it was all there! The only thing I walked out with that night was one of my guest's shoes she left.
Lauren is truly the best of the best. Everyone was so impressed by her thoroughness, her attention to detail, and doing it all while making it look effortless. Thank you so much for making our day so special and memorable. We appreciate you so so much!

I used Lauren as my Day of Coordinator for my wedding in February at the Bridge in Lemont, and let me tell you, she put in more than just the day of. Lauren was an absolute blessing both before and during my wedding. I chatted with her so much in the time from when I signed the contract to the day of. She let me bounce ideas off of her and get her opinion with her experience in weddings. On the day of my wedding, you can ask any vendor, I was one of the most chill brides, and I think so much of that was because Lauren had my back. She was so organized, she communicated with every single one of my vendors, she got everything set up and ready, and she took everything down so I didn't have to worry about getting everything out after the reception. My family and bridal group loved her and so did I. Do not think twice about booking Lauren, she was worth every penny!

Thank you Lauren for all your hard work and dedication to making sure my wedding went smoothly and that me and the rest of my party could just hang out and enjoy ourselves the day of. You were truly fantastic.

What can I say about Lauren??? This woman knows her stuff. My husband and I were looking for “a day of wedding coordinator”because we pretty much had the majority of the wedding planned. But we needed assistance with the wedding timeline! So I found Lauren on The Wedding Wire site. We spoke to so many wedding planners that we found or was referred too. But when we spoke to Lauren, we were sold.

She was so sweet and was ready to hit the ground running! She communicated very well with us from the beginning of our meeting until the day of the wedding! We are so grateful to have hired her for our special day. She did a phenomenal job at planning, organizing and coordinating our wedding day. Our family, friends and photographer were so amazed at how calm, professional and so in tune Lauren was with handling a wedding size of over 200 guests all by herself. All of our guests mentioned that she was on top of things and it showed. We were not worried at all. This helped me to stay a calmed bride because I hired a great wedding planner!

Lauren handled everything with class! So with that being said, PLEASE HIRE HER! You won’t be disappointed. We have a forever friend!

Do yourself a favor and just book Lauren!! If I could give her 10 stars, I would. She will do everything in her power to make this the best day of your life. We had multiple issues with the venue a month into the wedding and Lauren was able to step in and clear everything up. She is very organized and easy to communicate with. She was easily the best thing we spent money on for our wedding. I can’t rave about her enough.
