Drop Science Entertainment is a wedding DJ service located in Lansing, Michigan. This company crafts the perfect entertainment experience for couples and their guests on their special day. Combined, partners Jake and Alex have more than 18 years of experience in the live audio and party industries. They are thrilled to help bring enthusiasm and excitement to any couple's joyous celebration.

Services Offered

My goal with each client is to create an event that is right for them. I want to get to know the couples that book with us, and create an atmosphere that is right for their guests. To do this I use wide ranging playlists, that will surely play something for everyone, an engaging and energetic MC service, and the perfect lighting to set the mood of the evening. It is a point of pride for me to communicate and plan well with clients prior to each and every event, that way on the big day, couples can enjoy thier party, and leave the entertainment to us.

Great value!

We had a really strict budget but didn't want to lose out on guest fun. Jake listened to us, playing both the type of music we wanted, and additional songs that guests loved! He even played the favorite cha-cha slide, but as a remix! This made me feel like our wedding stood out because it wasn't the same as every wedding people had been to all summer!

Wedding DJ

He was awesome. Worked very close with the bride and groom to play the perfect songs at the perfect time. His photo booth was a huge hit with our wedding guests. Highly recommend them!!

Outstanding!

Jake was very helpful with planning everything for the wedding. He thought of every detail far in advance, so there were no surprises. Alex was an energetic and very involved DJ who went above and beyond what you would typically expect from a wedding DJ. He read the room well and kept everyone entertained and engaged on the dance floor. He even helped my wife and I raise hundreds of dollars for the honeymoon fund through games like "dollar dances" with the bride or groom. We got the full package that included the extra lighting, dancing on a cloud, and the photo booth. Which was a huge hit. I've been to weddings with photo booths before, but never one like this. The lighting was perfect and the booth its self changed colors to match the wedding colors. Our guests will remember my wedding for the rest of their lives. I couldnt recomend Drop Science more.

Awesome DJ totally recommend

Jacob was awesome He kept everyone going everyone loved the music he was playing!! I come from Hispanic family so Jacob took the opportunity to learn more about tejano music and he nailed it We will definitely be booking him again for future parties we did awesome at my wedding

Waste of money

He was the worst. He did stick to any of our selections. He basically played whatever he wanted and ignored requests. I spent 600 on the experience and i would have paid more elsewhere had i known he wasn't experienced at all. The only time he got the songs correct are during the special moments on our wedding day...which is what counts..but dont book this dj.
