Based in NE Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, Dressigner is a small professional bridal and formal alterations studio, specializing in dresses, which offers custom sewing services for individual clients. It's dedicated especially to people who appreciate fashion, great fit and the work of artisans. The mission of dressigner in this era of industry is quality of a beautifully sculpted gown, with an intimate fit, and extreme attention to detail. Greatest amount of time, care and effort are put into every creation in order to achieve the perfect result. Wedding gowns are the most complex garments of all the attire. They are often embellished with beads, trims, laces and are constructed from several layers of fabric, stabilizers, boning, crinolines etc. The best profesional skills will be applied and the love will be spilled all over your garment. Coming to dressigner will deliver you the desired peace of mind that comes with the trust.

Meet the seamstress Malgo:

Her experience with sewing started over 40 years ago when she made her first skirt on her grandmother's treadle sewing machine for a school dance. Her passion for sewing clothes, specifically dresses led her towards continuing her education in fasion. After graduating from the High School for Design and Fashion in Poland in 1992 she earned a Diploma of Craftmanship in custom dressmaking from the Chamber of Artisans in Poland. Her geatest education in Europe includes learning directly from custom cotoure ateliers. Later she moved to the US and worked for leading fashion companies woking directly with designers producing prototype clothing and bridal gowns. Almost a decade ago she started altering gowns for bridal stores and started her small custom dressmaking and bridal aterations studio Dressigner. She designed and made several beautiful special ocassion gowns for her clients in the past. "I understand how important it is to feel beautiful and comfortable in a your wedding dress, therefore I am here for you, and will be honored to make it happen. There is nothing that makes me more happy than a satisfied client."
