Wedding Reception! 9/12/2025

The absolute best band, so friendly, accommodating, and a pleasure to work with! I had no concerns regarding music for our ceremony, cocktail hour, and wedding reception! They were so easy and professional with assisting with all the details and wedding timeline! We had previously been to weddings where they performed, we knew this was something we needed to budget for when planning our own wedding! We wanted to dance the night away with friends and family, the music was truly the best part of the night! We never left the dance floor once the reception started, they made sure to play a nice mix of songs too! The energy they bring to the performance is so fun and lively!! What a great band!

The most special wedding band!

I can’t praise DownCity enough! We had them for my sister’s wedding and had to have them again for ours as well. Dave makes planning so easy and smooth and was up for special moments and requests. Not to mention the SOUND! As a musician myself, I was constantly impressed by their sound and the vocalists are insanely talented. Not to mention, they are all the kindest humans. Highly recommend!

Amazing!!!

The DownCity Band was incredible. From the first point of contact until the very last minute of our reception they were nothing by kind, flexible, and so involved. The quality and diversity of their sound was incredible. They also provided the sound for the ceremony itself and there wasn't so much as a glitch in sight. I cannot recommend them enough for your next event.

Great band

I have known this band for over 15 years and highly recommend them
they just did our wedding and they played from the ceremony, appetizers and main reception. they are very flexible with their music, very much on time and highly professional.
pleasure working with them and rave reviews from our friends and family that attended the wedding

Great band

Had a great time with this band. They were super easy to work with leading up to the wedding. And they were a ton of fun and sounded great. Have gotten several compliments from guests in the days after specifically about the band

The best!!!!

We loved having down city as our live entertainment at the wedding. We are huge
Music people and super picky. They worked with us to give us what we wanted and to keep everyone on the dance floor. So many compliments from our guests. Awesome!!!!!

10/10 amazing!

Downcity Band was absolutely fabulous! I could not have asked for a better band for our reception. Dave was very responsive and helpful via phone and email prior to the event. And they were all so friendly when meeting them on the day of the event. I felt they were truly excited to be there. They were all so skilled and passionate. The lights were great, the sound was great, the energy was GREAT. Thank you Downcity Band! I cannot wait to see you perform again!

Amazing Band!

Down City Band was amazing. We hired them for our wedding after seeing them at a couple local spots. They are so fun, the entire wedding group was dancing - from my friends all the way up to my 90 year old grandfather. The music was perfect, they played songs that everyone knew no matter the age. I could not have imagined a more fun band, we received compliments on them for days after the event.

Dave was super great when communicating. He was able to offer suggestions and was super timely in responses. They were able to play all of the songs we wanted, and he made sure the evening ran smoothly.

Would HIGHLY recommend them for your next wedding!

Amazing Band For Our Wedding!

DownCity Band was fantastic at our wedding! They were so much fun for everyone, young and old alike. We received many compliments on their energy, song selections and overall performance. They got the whole party up dancing together. They really showed all our guests such a a great time. We would highly recommend them at any party. David was so great to work with through the entire planning process as well. Thank you DownCIty for making our wedding reception a party no one will soon forget!
