Looking for an event coordinator, look no further! Ainslie at Down Home Events was the coordinator for my wedding and I couldn’t have been more thankful. I had roughly 160 guest attending my wedding and everything turned out amazing. As a little reference, I was planning my wedding from out of state (I am from North Kingstown but lived in Boston) and hiring Ainslie was the best decision I made in my wedding planning process. She not only makes you feel like a friend she went out of her way to make time to attend my rehearsal and introduce herself to all the other vendors involved. She is professional, responsive and will really take the time to understand your vision and make your event go off without a hitch.

Ainslie was truly the puzzle piece that completed such a perfect wedding day for my husband and I. I hired her a few months before the wedding to help me organize everything and be there at the wedding to ensure that we had someone that was making sure everything was going smoothly.
Ainslie was an absolute dream to work with the entire process. She was so thorough and organized and created the most detailed spreadsheet of every little detail to make sure that nothing was forgotten and that everything was seamless.
She was there for the rehearsal to meet everyone and make sure that everyone was on the same page and she interfaced with all of my vendors leading up to the wedding to get everyone on the same schedule and united to give my husband and I the most perfect stress free day.

And it truly was just that- I don't think I was stressed at all the entire day because I knew everything was in such capable hands. Ainslie was our ultimate hype girl, helped with my veil and bustle and took the most amazing behind the scenes photos and videos for us which was such a joy to watch back the next day.

Hiring Ainslie as our day of coordinator was the BEST decision we could have made. Our venue was a lot of do it yourself and I was worried that my family and I would be stressed the day of with getting everything ready. I cannot express how grateful I was to have Ainslie's help that day. The week before the event, she reached out to all my vendors so that they could contact her that day with any questions about location or set up. I had all my decor in labeled boxes for her and by the time I arrived to the venue, she had transformed the space into exactly what I had envisioned! She not only set up all my decor but also helped with the timing of ceremony processional and making sure everything flowed smoothly throughout the night. If there were any problems or hiccups that day, I have no idea because she clearly handled it all! Our wedding day wouldn't have been what it was without Ainslie and I highly recommend having her as your coordinator for your big day or event :) Thank you thank you!

We were so blessed to have Ainslie for our day of wedding coordinator!! I wish I could give her more than 5 stars. She was incredibly organized, so down to earth, and such a calming presence on the most joyous but hectic day of our lives. She handled every situation with nothing but grace the entire day, start to finish. She remembered all of the tiny little details and reminded us to plan for them ahead of time, so we weren’t panicking with last minute decisions the day of. She kept us on schedule, which is not an easy task! She was such an asset to our day!! We had so many materials & glassware that needed to be set up and broken down at the end of the night and Ainslie handled it all! The setup was exactly as we had envisioned, and she even went above and beyond to pack everything up safely for us so we and our families didn’t have to stress about a single solitary thing. She truly made our day flawless from start to finish. I cannot put into words just how thankful and incredibly grateful we are for her! This women is truly AMAZING at what she does and is such an amazing human :)

When Ainslie of Down Home Events found out that my soon to be husband and I postponed our wedding due to the pandemic, she was quick to step in and ask if she could help and plan a micro wedding for us! Having been friends with Ainslie for 25 years now, we have planned multiple bachelorette and bridal showers together without a hitch for parties less than 50 people and I have been to many events she has planned with well over 200 people which were executed seamlessly. She was definitely right person for the job! Ainslie planned us a dream micro wedding! She found the most beautiful location, hired a florist and a photographer. She would have hired us an officiant as well but we were fortunate to have one already. The day was perfect.... my now husband and I had pictures taken on the water, our close family was there to watch us (socially distanced, of course), Ainslie came equipped with a tripod to mount her phone so we could live stream for all of family and friends to be “present” and to top it off she brought cannolis for us as that is my husbands favorite instead of cake. She took all of the stress off of us and we definitely recommend Ainslie for all of your events, including micro weddings!
