We're so glad we had our guests stay at the DoubleTree Nanuet. The rooms are lovely, large and affordable (but a bit dark - good to keep in mind for older relatives, mine all asked for additional lighting, which the hotel didn't have much of), and it's a big enough hotel to accommodate all of our guests who wanted to stay. It was also great to have the bar stay open late for our after party. The hotel restaurant's breakfast is delicious and affordable, too. It's a great location with lots of stores nearby for any last minute needs (folks made runs to Fairway, Stop and Shop, Party City, Target...). And best of all, the sales/catering staff are great. I worked with Ashley and Zhane, and they were both really helpful and most of the time responded very quickly to emails. I had several guests book outside of our block because they were coming early or staying late, so Zhane multiple times added folks into our block and sent me updated lists, which was so helpful. We can not say enough about Sal and the Regency. The second we met with Sal, we knew this was where we wanted to hold our wedding reception. Every step of the way, Sal was responsive, courteous, and over-the-top helpful. He gave us what we asked for and more. Our reception was perfect, and the food was delicious!Sent on 09/09/2015
In addition to Sal, we worked with Beatrice as our Maî·tre D'. She was outstanding. She was with us all night and on top of every little detail. Our wedding party was scheduled to spend the cocktail hour at the hotel but separate from the rest of our guests, and we ended up getting back to the hotel a little earlier than planned, and Beatrice was all over it! She got our party drinks and food right away.
Everyone at our wedding talked about how great the food and drinks were and how impressed they were with the level of service. Sal even found a way of giving me the s'more bar I always wanted! :) We were so very pleased with the Regency, Sal, Beatrice, and their team. We can't say enough to praise and recommend them.

We held our daughter's Sweet 16 party at the Regency Banquet and Conference Center. The entire event staff, led by Sal, gave us everything we asked for and more. They were very easy to work with, and the entire staff did it with a smile the whole time. Everyone really enjoyed the party and the food was excellent! The room at the hotel was great as well! The Regency Banquet and Conference center is a fantastic venue for all kinds of parties. Whether it is a wedding, a sweet sixteen, or even just a meeting. The staff is extremely professional and helpful to all the needs of all the guests. Sal is a great person to work with and makes planning your event very fun and easy, which is a trait that is hard to find when it comes to those high-end, stressful parties. Definitely at the top of our recommendation list!
