Nestled in the heart of the Great Northern Catskills in Tannersville, New York, Hotel Lilien is a boutique hotel, cocktail bar, and event venue, perfect for unforgettable wedding celebrations.
Friends and family can stay in the 18 guest rooms and private four-bedroom suite, situated on the sweeping 9-acre property. Hotel Lilien offers both indoor and outdoor spaces and can accommodate up to 150 guests for your milestone occasion. They would also be delighted to host your wedding weekend events, including welcome drinks, rehearsal dinner, ceremony, reception, after party, and farewell brunch.
ABOUT HOTEL LIILEN
This historic estate was built in the 1980s, with the Lodge dating back to the 1950s, offering a charming ambiance and unique features to elevate any event. Both properties have been carefully restored and renovated with one-of-a-kind antique and vintage pieces, making it the ideal setting for an unforgettable occasion.

Beautiful Wedding Venue in Upstate NY
The Dreamiest
We stayed from a Thursday - Sunday and honestly I wish we would've come even sooner to eat more food, drink more of their specialty cocktails, and just take everything in. Hotel Lilien is truly a special place.
We had to tell my MIL she didn't live there...
Throughout the planning process, The Lodge was still under renovation, and Jules, the venue coordinator, was absolutely phenomenal. She kept us consistently updated on the progress, was incredibly responsive, and graciously welcomed us for more site visits than were probably necessary (I was just too excited). It was clear she genuinely understood that weddings aren’t one-size-fits-all and was thoughtful and flexible as we worked through different day-of flows that were important to me.
Our wedding weekend was nothing short of magical. Chris, the bartender and owner, quickly became a favorite among our family and friends — the kind of person who makes you feel like a regular even on your first visit. The entire staff was warm, knowledgeable about the town, and delivered truly premium hospitality from start to finish... to the point my MIL tried to take off her shoes and lay down on the couch and we had to tell her she didn't live there.
We're already looking forward to coming back to celebrate anniversaries for years to come at Hotel Lilien.

What set the experience apart was the incredible team, especially Jules. Working with her was an absolute joy. She was attentive, organized, and genuinely invested in making our wedding everything we hoped it would be. Any request we made was taken seriously and the whole team was extremely accommodating. When we had a less-than-favorable experience with our planner, Jules stepped in without hesitation and completely took control of the situation. She handled everything with professionalism and grace, allowing us to feel fully supported and at ease on our wedding day.
I cannot recommend Hotel Lilien enough for couples looking for an intimate, memorable, and beautifully run wedding experience. We will always be grateful to the team for going above and beyond for us and look forward to going back and reminiscing about our perfect weekend!
