We booked a room block here and also held our post-wedding brunch in one of the conference rooms. Joey was super responsive and easy to work with throughout the process. He easily accommodated our request for a guest shuttle. The brunch was well organized and well stocked.

Originally, we wanted the ceremony and reception at the same place and not at a hotel. We toured DoubleTree anyway because it was a really good price and included catering, and we were absolutely blown away by the customer service. So much so that we booked them and planned the rest of our wedding around having the reception there. They dealt with our endless questions, figured out a way to get the very specific beer we wanted, and always made us feel better after talking to them. The food was great, the drinks were excellent, and I feel like we got way more than we paid for with them! They truly made my wife and I feel so special!

Overall I was very happy with the staff and everything they did to make our wedding amazing, especially the weekend of. They went above and beyond during our stay at the hotel. They also have amazing prices for downtown Madison. The food was great as well. We didn't like one of the options for the package we picked so the chef quick whipped something up for us while we were at our tasting and it turned out really good. They also have very generous portion sizes. The only problems I had were the lack of parking, which is a downtown problem in general, and it's a smaller venue. I only had 100 guests and I cannot imagine having too many more than that in the ballroom (we had enough table space for around 120 but did not fill all the tables to capacity). Regardless, I highly recommend them if you are looking for a reasonably priced venue for a fairly small wedding in downtown Madison.
