The Westin Milwaukee is a brand new, modern hotel located in downtown Milwaukee, Wisconsin. They offer eight different indoor event spaces for both your ceremony and reception. Their experienced staff pride themselves on their classic hospitality, and their ability to listen closely to your unique vision. The Westin Milwaukee will provide personalized attention and service from beginning to end.

Facilities and Capacity
Couples can accommodate up to 300 guests at this luxurious venue. They offer 9,000 square feet of event space and gorgeous views of Lake Michigan. Their Grand Ballroom features a warm and tranquil ambiance with customizable LED chandeliers. It features an open floor plan without any pillars blocking guests' views. It's 4,800 square feet and can be completely customizable depending on the size of your affair. It also boasts an adjacent pre-function space, perfect for your cocktail hour. The Westin Milwaukee also offers their Lower Lakes Room. This intimate venue can accommodate up to 70 guests seated, and provides lots of natural light for a variety of events.

Best venue for a beautiful wedding

We couldn’t ask for more, my husband and I were looking something cozy and beautiful, we planned this wedding in less than 3 months and Amanda helped us to made this wedding come true, she understood all my ideas and was so nice to settle the decor, was a small wedding but it felts like a big one, all the guest and us had so much fun and enjoyed our wedding, everyone loved the place, the ceremony, the reception, exceptional.

Perfect day!!

My husband and I got married on 10/9/21 at the Westin Milwaukee. It could not have been a more beautiful and magical day and a piece of that beauty comes directly from the Westin itself. I will never forget the feeling of walking into the ballrom for the first time and gasping because it looked so pretty and even more beautiful than what I had invisioned during the planning process.

The Westin Milwaukee is a downtown Milwaukee hotel with a beautiful modern design and a warm ambiance. On the day of the wedding the staff that we dealt with were just so accommodating, professional, and pleasant and the day went off perfectly without a hitch.

Covid resulted in our having a couple different event planners with the Westin, our final one Craig we were assigned to Craig a few months before our wedding when our previous one took a promotion. I was a bit concerned how things would go being moved to a new event person that close to our wedding date. But our day went off w/o a hitch and a big piece of that is giving credit to Craig. Everything was well timed, looked beautiful, and tasted great.

The Westin is under the organization called White lodging and we also cannot speak highly enough about how wonderful they were in dealing with covid and the many issues that that brought us in planning our wedding.

In our venue search we looked at both hotels and free standing places. We opt'd to go with a hotel partially bc we had many out of town guests but also because the pricing is so much simpler-price is per person and that's it, no seperate caterer, rentals, bar, etc.

If on your wedding day you're looking for an elegant venue with great food, great service, simplicity in pricing, a perfect location in the heart of downtown, and has sleeping accomodations for guests then you cannot go wrong with the Westin Milwaukee. Our wedding day was flawless and perfect at the Westin.

Awesome!!!

We planned our daughter's wedding here on August 17, 2019. We live in Boston but wanted their wedding in Milwaukee. We had such a great experience with our wedding plans at the Westin. The Wedding planning was awesome, the rooms were great and so very comfortable, the restaurant was so delicious, the staff amazing and the post-wedding breakfast in the hotel was fabulous!!!
My husband and I stayed for 6 days and most of the guests (from out of state) stayed there for 4 days..
Guests stated that this wedding was absolutely the best wedding ever!!!!!
Thank you...Westin Milwaukee.
We are planning to come back and stay there again in February, 2020.

Dream Wedding

Can’t say enough good things about the amazing team at The Westin in Downtown MKE. Kaitlin Wille is FABULOUS. Audrey in Sales is so wonderful. Their wait staff that served us were so attentive and friendly! The chef is super talented. The venue was perfect - the space worked perfectly. We did our ceremony and reception all at the hotel!

Westin Best Location in Milwaukee

the Westin helped organize a team building event we had a couple weeks ago. Megan our event coordinator was on top of everything from planning to execution. The venue was perfect for our group. The staff were professional, courteous and the food was really nice. I will not hesitate to return or recommend having events at The Westin.

Outstanding all around

My wife and I booked our stay and our hotel block at the Westin. They were in lockstep the whole time, the rates were great, the hotel is outstanding, and they did everything they could to accommodate us and make the wedding special. I would 100% recommend the Westin to anyone looking to get married.

Wonderful Experience!

I used the Westin for my wedding hotel block, for my rehearsal dinner, and rented a meeting room for wedding day hair/make-up. Service was absolutely wonderful and the food was amazing.

Great suggestions and assistance around the wedding day

Kaitlin Wille and her team at the Westin did a fabulous job of suggesting alternative places to prepare for the wedding, working with us on some last minute changes, offering some ideas such as food while the bridesmaids were having makeup and hair sessions, offering to assist in storing packages, distributing gift bags, and more. In particular, Kaitlin was very helpful and accommodating and offered tremendous help and thoughtful ideas. She was tremendous.

Perfect Wedding Venue

The Westin was an ideal location to host our daughter's wedding reception and the night exceeded our expectations. The ballroom is beautiful by itself, but we used the Westin-provided white linens and white chair covers, along with our own floral centerpieces and a spotlighted monogram on the wall and we were set. Of course, Kaitlin Willie, our event coordinator from the Westin, put her own touches and made the ballroom, along with the cocktail reception in the hall, stunning. The wedding ceremony itself was also in the Westin and was lovely. We used the hotel pipe and drape for a back drop and added some eucalyptus and a white aisle runner and it was gorgeous.
Our compliments to the chef, as the food was outstanding! We started with a cocktail hour in the hall outside the ballroom and had high top tables and a few regular tables for any that needed to sit. We had 2 bars set up and 4 appetizers being passed and they were all outstanding. Our guests were already impressed! This was only outdone by the quality of the food that was served for the dinner. We offered the Walleye, NY Strip, Manchego Chicken and the Cauliflower Bolognese and the guests raved. The steaks were cooked to perfection, the chicken was moist and tender and the Walleye was flavorful!
We served Moose Tracks ice cream for dessert and then offered mini bundt cakes and cheese curds for late night snack. These were appreciated by all!
We had a live band, The Rhythm Kings, and they were phenomenal! A HUGE HIT! Highly recommend! Very affordable and well worth it
We had about 140 quests and could have seated up to 180 comfortably. We used a day-of coordinator to help facilitate pictures being taking and to keep the reception on schedule with speeches and such. We did not feel the need for a wedding coordinator throughout the process, as Kaitlin was so helpful. Although we are an organized group!
Shout out to the banquet staff as well, as they were on top of service!
We would all highly recommend the Westin as a premier venue for a wedding!
