Experience

DJ PlayDAT is owned and operated by Craig Mangrum. The son of a former DJ, Mangrum benifitted from the many hours along side his father sifting through and listening to his father’s records and attending gigs with his father. After falling in love, Mangrum had a pause in his career as he begain intergrated into sports. Mangrum was an excelled in football and earned a 4 year football schlorship. During this time Mangrum was fortunate to continue to expand his musical taste. Upon following college Mangrum briefly played Indoor Professional football with the Richmond Raiders. Mangrum, later decided life after football was more important than playing days. After DJ PlayDAT decided to attend the world renown "Scratch Academy" in Miami, Florida. Here DJ PlayDAT honed his craft as a DJ under the guidance of some of the world's best DJs. Today DJ PlayDAT still competes against DJs from around the world in DJ competitions. Today he trains other DJ and remains the perfect person to trust with your special day.
