I was so happy with Our DJ. It was one of the most important days of my life so of course you hope that everything will go perfect..and it did. I loved that he requested a list of specific songs for our ceremony, reception and time line of the day. I would highly reccomend Nate Smythe! Great personality, seems like a great guy and music was perfect! He was Excellent!!

This man, DJ Nate, had been hired to DJ at a girls Lacrosse fundraiser toward the end of April 2015. He was extremely unprofessional and it was embarrassing to have been in the same room as him while on the mic.

One of his responsibilities during this event was announcing the winners of a raffle for door prizes. The proceeds would go to the lacrosse teams so a lot of parents had bought tickets. When the numbers for one basket winner were called, the mother stood up and went to claim her prize. The DJ then says "Nice try" over the mic and sends her back into the audience as if she were lying. He gave the basket away to someone else. Then another woman took that mother's ticket back up and showed him that it was the very same number that he had called, comparing the tickets side by side. He nastily replied "Go fight the other person for the basket then". The woman had disputed his clear rudeness and he said "You're a cunt!" over the mic for everyone in attendance to hear. What kind of person hired to work an event takes the liberty to verbally harass the event's attendees? Another woman had stepped up at this point and told him that he would never work any of the public school functions again, as he had previously DJ'd for them in the past. The then continued to mock them over the microphone repeating in childish voices "Yeah, I'm an asshole. I'll never work the school events again. I'll just do kids birthday parties, book with me parents!" Can you imagine how mortifying it would be to see a grown man that you hired harassing your event guests in this manner?? Not even that, people should have respect for one another in general, regardless of the position of each person. Don't waste your time or money. You won't find quality with "DJ Nate" Smythe.
