Joe was our DJ for our May 2016 wedding. He was incredible! So easy to work with and very responsive to all of my panicked phone calls. Joe kept the party going all night--the dance floor was packed the entire time and he played all the songs I had as a "must-play." He also did the Shoelywed game which was so fun and everyone got a kick out of it; he has a serious knack for entertaining people!! No one was bored, he kept everything on track the entire night, and we were all exhausted by the end of the night! Everyone should hire this man for their events--it's been almost two years and my family still raves about how great he was.

We honestly couldn’t have asked for a better DJ. From start to finish, he was amazing to work with and made the entire process feel easy and stress-free. Every single guest loved him, and he somehow managed to appeal to every age group and type of guest. He took requests, which was a huge hit and a total game-changer for the energy on our dance floor. It stayed packed the entire night and truly became the highlight of our reception. He communicated so well leading up to the wedding, checked in when needed, and handled our last-minute changes calmly and professionally without missing a beat. His ability to read the room and keep the momentum going made our wedding one of the most fun and memorable nights of our lives. We are so grateful we chose him and would recommend him to anyone without hesitation.

Meredith was very pleasant and easy to work with. Her prices are reasonable. We were really happy with her doing our ceremony music and reception music. She did miss a few of our "must play" songs and some of her song choices weren't our favorite - for instance, we gave a list of suggested slow songs and she played other songs we weren't familiar with. However, overall she kept the dance party going and we had a blast.

My wife and I were in a bind when our friend who had agreed to DJ our wedding backed out last minute. Rising Sun events came to the rescue! Justin agreed to DJ our wedding on short notice and worked tirelessly to mix our music and create a total package experience that made our day truly complete. Justin's expertise was invaluable as he guided our musical selections without being overbearing or pushy. On the day of the wedding, Justin was professional and fun, and left our guests energized and dancing out the door! Numerous friends said that the dancing and music was the best of any wedding they had been to. Without the professional help of Rising Sun events, our big day wouldn't have been complete. My wife and I will cherish the day of our wedding for the rest of our lives, and we have Rising Sun to thank! I would highly recommend contacting Rising Sun and finding out how they can make your special event perfect. They certainly did for us!
