I always knew I wanted a DJ because of the variety of music I could play at my wedding. I'm Peruvian and my husband is American and I wanted a mix of spanish and top fun dancing american songs to dance to. Herman and his company was the best decision I made for my wedding music selection! Not only was Herman super responsive from start to finish but we was punctual and all equipment was ready and installed. DJ KYD offers an online portal which was very helpful and easy to use. It helped me stay organized and I could include right there an then in the portal what songs I wanted, when I wanted them played, what duration or parts of the song I wanted to play etc. I even asked Herman to find a Russian song to play the day of my wedding and he was able to make this work! (my mom was very happy). The packages DJ KYD provided were also very flexible. From different payment options to different things provided, it was very helpful. We went with a package which included uplighting and disco type lights and our initials that were reflected on the dance floor! It was all such a dream. Herman also played all the songs we wanted! He mixed all the songs to make them flow together which is what I wanted and everything was so seamless and perfect. EVERYONE was dancing at our wedding!! At the point that the dance floor was not even big enough! I remember seeing my guests dancing in the carpet area of the venue and everyone afterwards told my husband and I that they haven't danced like that at a wedding in a long time. Thank you Herman for such a wonderful night! The mix of music was awesome and everyone had an amazing time :) Wow I wish I could relive my wedding day all over again! I could not thank you enough and would recommend any future couples to hire DJ KYD if you want to have an amazing event where everyone is dancing all night long!! Best decision and great service. We hired DJ KYD for our wedding reception and the dance floor was PACKED all night. We told him we wanted mostly 90's songs to get the party going and he came fully prepared. I was impressed by the number of phone conversations we had the week of and how thorough he was throughout the whole process. I even broke my foot 3 days before my recep and he was accomodating by asking if I wanted our songs shortened and cutting out at the perfect spot. Thank you for making our reception an absolute blast!

Herman was the DJ for our wedding in 2016 and even to this day, guests still tell us how much fun they had. He really provided a good selection of music and a great atmosphere.

Herman exceeded our expectations!!! He turned our PineHills location into a Miami Hotter than Hot Club - from the light show, to our girls name in lights was simply amazing! I can not recommend enough... what an amazing experience we had!!!!

From the moment we met with Herman we knew DJ KYD was the perfect DJ for us! We are a young couple and wanted a DJ who would keep the party going and would be able to play the latest music of all genres. Most of my husband’s family is Spanish speaking so we also wanted someone who would be able MC in both English and Spanish. DJ KYD was professional, responsive, and kept the services flowing and the party going!

The planning process with DJ KYD was so easy! We used the online site to fill out the specific music we wanted, all of the wedding details, including names of parents and bridal party, etc. and the flow for the evening. After we completed the form he sent us a document with everything and went over it with us line by line to make sure he understood everything. He accommodated all of our last minute requests and changes without hesitation.
The day of he worked closely with our wedding coordinator, venue, and caterer to make sure everything was running smoothly. Most important, the music was great!! Everyone had such an amazing time!

I cannot recommend DJ KYD enough!

What a fantastic choice for DJ for us at our wedding. As a wedding with a mix of cultures (Dominican, Somali, and more), we struggled to find someone who could mix and match exactly what we wanted. We were incredibly lucky to find Herman and his company. From the consultation onwards, Herman was able to provide us with the knowledge of what to expect from our DJ, and guide us through the planning for the day of. He made everything run smoothly.

Herman used a short form questionnaire to help him understand what our needs and desires were, and used that to mold into his plan for how the day will go. Everything. Was. Perfect. Herman picked up on our ceremony script like he's done it 1000x and all the synchronization between who was walking out to what song was perfect. From then on his reception preparation was perfect and he flawlessly MC'ed the night billingually with no hitches whatsoever.

We were one of those couples who didn't really provide him much guidance on what music to play, except that we wanted Bachata/Merengue/Salsa/Top 40 and we gave him a few artists we liked, and he knocked it out of the park. He got the most SHY people up on the floor ALL NIGHT. He even surprised us with a section of Somali music (which we requested on our first consultation, but COMPLETELY forget the rest of the night) when my mother asked him for it, and thank goodness, because that section was one of the most memorable moments of the night as my Somali family danced traditional somali music with my wife and I.

I can't recommend Herman enough, he is incredibly versatile, very professional and he really, really, really knows what he's doing. Great job Herman, keep it up.
