My name is Justin Platt a.k.a. DJ Klick, and I've been a music lover since the day I was born back in 1983. I've always been the guy who sings alone in the car, memorizes rap lyrics, whistles while I work, and the last one to go to sleep as long as the music is still playing. My father is an exceptional guitar and bass player, and my mom's been an avid "dead-head" since the 70's. My brother plays guitar, bass, oboe, and french horn. Music is in my blood. Although I never became a musician myself, I have a deep appreciation for many genres of music across the musical landscape, and that is reflected in my work as a DJ.

Throughout the 90's and 2000's, I mostly enjoyed hip-hop, R&B, club, and alternative rock music like most other people my age. When I started DJ'ing professionally in the early 2010's, my musical love and knowledge expanded into country, latin, funk, disco, EDM, 80's, Top 40, and many other genres. I truly have grown to love almost every type of music out there! I'm not experienced in Bollywood, Persian, or Indian music at this point in my career.

My motto's always been simple: Just Play the Hits! (Unless the client prefers otherwise, of course ;))

I don't do a whole lot of remixing, mashups, or layering of tracks like a club DJ. I'm much more focused on playing great songs in their original form. But, I use my style, skills, and tools to keep the transitions between songs seamless and smooth. I follow the KISS method: Keep It Simple Stupid.
