Dj Jon was great! Jon was able to take calls with us and answer any questions during the planning process which made us feel secure and not at all stressed about the music situation. He made sure the songs we requested were always played at the perfect times and kept our dance floor going throughout the night. We did a bit of a chaotic musical chairs scavenger hunt and he helped make sure that it ran smoothly without confusion. He made our Party extremely fun, and the dance floor was always packed!!! He can read a room and played any genre of music requested. He's so very accommodating and a joy to work with. DJ Jon Alder is the BEST DJ in RENO!!! We met him a couple years ago when he DJ’d a friend’s 50th birthday party and had the whole house ROCKING! I have been wanting to use him since then and finally had the chance this weekend for my daughter’s sweet 16 dance party at our house. I contacted him on short notice and he was SO responsive and professional from the get go. His price is very reasonable, he is incredibly helpful (even told me who to call for the best dancefloor rental) and really takes an interest in the event you are planning. Every time I texted him, he got back to me right away with answers and made my life easier. He sent us a document before the event so she and her friends could pick the music they wanted and it gave him a great idea of what they would like. On the night of the event, he showed up exactly on time (2 hours early) to set up and make sure he was ready to roll before the party started. He is calm, lovely and so fun. He even brought my daughter a special hat to wear from Burning Man! This guy’s vibe is so chill and amazing you will love him. When the party started, the kids of course were slow to get dancing but he knew EXACTLY what they needed to get the party started. They all thought he was amazingly cool and loved everything he played. He offers DJ lessons and I know some of the kids were interested in that! He kept the party going for 3 straight hours without missing a beat and never let them down. At the end of the party, he packed up his AMAZING equipment and left the space immaculate. You will NOT be disappointed if you use DJ Jon—the DJ is the MOST important part of your party and this guy DELIVERS!!! We will use him again and again!
