My husband and I can't say enough positive things about the Deluxe Event Group, they truly are exceptional. It was very important to us that we have an amazing DJ at our wedding that also fit within our budget constraints. We were very familiar with DJ Deluxe and how talented of a DJ he is from hearing him many times in downtown Raleigh, and even though we were having a destination wedding in Puerto Rico, it felt like a no-brainer to book the Deluxe Event Group for our wedding! They were the only Raleigh-based vendor we hired and we are beyond thankful that we did!


From our first consultation to the wedding day, Demar was so kind and professional, timely, and knowledgeable, he was great to work with. I consider him a master of his craft, and I immediately felt so comfortable and at ease knowing he would be DJing our wedding. About a month or two out from our event, Demar and Kevin initiated meeting with us and our planner to run through our reception timeline to ensure that everything would run smoothly. They even gave us guidance on what order to put protocol like the dances, dinner, and cake cutting in order to make everything smooth and seamless. We provided them with a 'must-play list' and a 'do not play list' (which I highly recommend), but let them shine and do their thing!


On the day of the wedding, Demar and Kevin were very professional and arrived early for set-up. They were absolutely flawless!! Every guest from younger people to my older aunts were up on the dance floor the entire night!! Even though our dance floor was uncovered, the music was so fire that our guests danced in the rain all night. The MCing was fabulous and made us feel like celebrities and made the protocols fun and entertaining for guests. It rained our entire wedding (which was an indoor/outdoor event), so we had to switch ceremony locations at the last minute. They were able to quickly pivot and set up fast in the new location and our ceremony music was perfectly executed.

My family has always been notorious non-dancers. When we go to weddings, they might be guilted into getting up and dancing for a song or two, but only as long as they have to. And my Dad was tearing up the dance floor all night! He asked us if we had designed the playlist ourselves! (Of course we did not, though we gave the DJ our input). Aside from delivering a great dancing list, they also did a great job matching the mood for the different stages of the evening, from the toasts, to the dinner, to the last dance. They were also a pleasure to work with, and kept in great contact throughout the planning process. They stuck with us through venue and date changes, as well as guest count changes, which all happened due to COVID. My husband and I were both very impressed and wouldn't hesitate to recommend them or hire them again if we needed a DJ in the future!

DJ Deluxe was one of the best vendor choices I made for my wedding. The biggest thing I cared about was the DJ/ dancing and they did not disappoint. From the initial call to the final prep leading up to the wedding, they were a joy. They always made me laugh and really calmed my nerves during a stressful time. It was a huge plus having both a DJ and an emcee included in our package. It was like having our own personal hype man and I loved every minute of it. I would definitely hire them again!

DJ Deluxe made our night SO fun and had everyone on the dance floor- from grandparents, to our friends, and kids. While my family is used to dancing to American top 40 music at weddings, and my husband's family , Arabic music, they found a way to keep the dance party going the entire time with the perfect playlist. The uplighting was perfect and looked amazing in the photos as well. They truly got to know us individually and tailored every detail to fit our requests- so many of our friends asked us who our DJ was after having so much fun at our wedding- thank you DJ deluxe!

I am a very Type A planner and was anxious to trust a company that I have never worked with before with our wedding music & emceeing. When DJ Deluxe told me not to create a playlist and leave it to him, I was nervous. But boy, am I glad that I did! These folks MADE our wedding. The music was perfect for all generations and Brooke did a fantastic job keeping everything moving. We got so many complements from our friends (party crowd) and older family members alike! The uplighting was PERFECT and really set the tone for the dance floor! The acoustics were spot on!

Kevin met with me months in advance to talk through my must have songs and a timeline. I changed my timeline last minute (2 days before the wedding!) and they worked through the night to modify it - more than I could have asked for!
