Budget was a huge issue for our wedding, so Divine Image fulfilled our wishes in that area quite nicely. We used them for engagement and wedding photos, and they are very talented in catching moods and manipulating the environment to make each picture tell a story. They are also very unobtrusive, and prefer to photograph people's natural reactions. Because of this, you have to be very specific if you want any traditional posed shots, and even then you are responsible for "setting the scene." Pros: budget-friendly, two photographers to capture more angles, very flexible and open to your ideas, fast turn-around time, different packages to choose from. Cons: can be very busy and therefore may not get back to you quickly, and you cannot review prints before getting the DVD (so they pick what prints to give you.) Additionally, for our wedding prints they did not do much basic editing (like removing the odd blemish or shadow), and went overboard on fancy photo effects, which made it impossible to print off photos larger than 4x6 and 5x7 without the image getting grainy. They do not provide multiples of one image with different edits (I have one picture of our first kiss, and it is in BW). If you are having a formal ceremony and care about how vendors are dressed, you may also have to specify this with them, but we personally enjoyed them as people. And we do have many spectacular photos from the big day!Sent on 11/18/2010
